"Well, young Pokemon tend to bicker and if not stopped, may change
into permanent rivalries as they grow up, if they are not stopped.
Some Pokemon tend to battle with those who respect, and consider
powerful enough to be their opponents." Grace said, kindly.
Victor remembered Flare's rivalry with his twin's Sceptile, who was
assumed dead as of now.
Tiger nodded and looked at his Cyndaquil he remembered how the
Pokemon always would attack Lion's Squirtle who was now a
Blastoise. "Alright" he said and nodded Cyndaquil looked at the two
slightly.
"You'll be staying here for time being, Laura, show them their
rooms, will you?" Grace said.
"Come on," Laura said, and led the others to some rooms in the back
of the house.
Mike wanders the Crest region, looking for Team Crest grunts, or
chances to train his team.
In the meantime, Jenny follows him, without Mike noticing her.
Laura went out of her house, which was part lab, and went out to
look at Mike, and Jenny. She called her Fennekin, named Magic, to
calm down the other starter Pokemon, after all there were more
Pokemon in the lab compared to any other lab, as Grace's lab had
all starter pokemon.
Suddenly, two trainers jumped out of the portal in the forest.
"Oh Arceus, are we too late!?" one asked, panicking.
"Calm down, Billy. They sure didn't wander of too far. Let's go and
find them. We we're in my gym where they got into the portal
afterall. Althrough, we had to wait for them in front of the
building, you.. Okay, nevermind."
"Yeah, yeah.. Right, Blue." Billy sent out his charizard to fly off
to Highlands City. The gym leader did the same. They both jumped
onto their pokémon and soared into the sky in the direction of the
city.
Aria had called the Viridian gym to see if the two trainers had
reached Crest region. "Oak, I must go.." She said, as she left the
Lab, and went over to Viridian city. She quickly entered the
portal, and reached the Verran forest.
"Blue, where are we exactly going?"
"Wait, I'll check on the map.." he searched his whole bag. "I-I
lost it!? I must've dropped it in the forest!"
"Great, just great!" Billy sighed, along with Blue's charizard.
Their map was still sitting on the floor in front of the portal in
Verran forest.
Aria looked at the map, and hitched a ride with a Talonflame. The
Pokemon flew up to Billy and Blue. "Lost something, trainers?" She
asked, waving the map. "You must be those two trainers from the
Viridian gym. I'm Aria, the champion of the Crest region, and who
has called for help."
Blue blushed:"Y-yes, we..Ugh, me.. I actually lost it.."
"Nice to meet you, Aria!" Billy started talking. "I'm Billy. Now
just a scientist, but a chamion of Kanto before. That's just
history now though.."
Billy and Blue's charizards landed aswell, and they got off.
"Can we get b-back the map, please?" Blue lended a hand over to the
map in Aria's hands, with a sceptical look.
"Oh Blue! What's wrong with you!? You're acting like you've seen a
ghost!" Billy wauls.
"I won't eat you up!" Aria said, giving the map back to
Blue. She didn't know why such a reputed gym leader was behaving
this way.
"Mom, Aria and the other trainers are here!" Laura called her
mother. Grace came and looked at the other trainers. "I'm Grace,
the professor of the Crest region, nice to meet you." Grace said.
Billy grabbed Blue and dragged him away:"Just a minute, Aria."
"What!?" Billy asked him.
"..." Blue just made a wierd-looking expression to answer the
quiestion.
Aria looked at the trainers. She then went inside and talked to
Victor. "You sure that they're real? I mean, they aren't any
look-a-likes, are they?" She asked.
"Yes, I'm sure. I challenged and battled them, and I know them very
well. There is something strange going on." Victor replied, and
went out with Aria.
Blue appeared behind Victor and shouted a loud "hi" in his ear.
There was another Blue standing where Billy left him after talking
with him. After noticing the Blue behind Victor, Billy literally
freezed in place.
