I agree about Unova. It brought the awesome Zorua and Axew lines, but overall the designs were terrible. That's why I love Kalos so much. It looks like they got a lot of fresh new ideas - the Pokemon are based on animals, and not on random objects. It kind of has a gen 1 feel to it. :D

It would kill me if they did that xD Mostly because I normally choose my starter based on what it'll turn into. But it would make it more fun. :3

I've noticed that a lot of people have been saying that Quilladin might be more awesome than people are giving it credit for. They brought up a really good point...Shelgon and Pupitar were awkward "cocoon" stages, and ended up evolving into two of the most awesome Pokemon ever. Quilladin might be the same :D

I also like the idea of Braixen evolving into some kind of witch like people are predicting it will. Anything but Fire/Fighting, Nintendo. Anything. ;~;

The only thing I don't like about X and Y: Sylveon.
I'm not a fan of the design and I just don't see anything fairy about it.
But other than that, I'm really excited and I want to get a game!

I'm not sure which, though.

Yeah, I don't really understand the Sylveon craze, either. But I do love it a lot more than i did Glaceon and Leafeon, and I love the name more, too. I don't really know what a Fairy type is supposed to look like, but I do have to admit that Sylveon matches a lot more than Marill and Gardevoir. xD

Normally, I wait until I know all the version exclusives before I make my decision. But...I love Xerneas so much, haha.

If it helps, here's a page with the version exclusives: Link. :)

I like Yveltal so much, but I prefer Swirlix and Clauncher to Spritzee and Skrelp! I think my sister is getting X, though, so I can trade with her to get them.

I LOVE Xerneas....I think Fairy type suits it perfectly :3 I like Mega Mewtwo Y better though..... :p

Clauncher is pretty awesome xD

And Tina, yes...Pre-order it next time you're in there! You get an awesome poster. :D And I'm the type who is super paranoid about the game selling out before I can get a copy. When I was looking to buy Animal Crossing: New Leaf, I couldn't get it right away because the stores only got enough to cover the pre-orders. :C I'm so worried that the same will happen to Pokemon.

Doublade can learn Sacred Sword. Personally, I'm not a fan of it, though I like Honedge; I find it kind of silly that they are making it so that it is no longer the signature move of the Swords of Justice, but I can't argue with the fact that it kind of makes sense. XD

Honedge and Doublade are interesting...I just kind of hope that they're two of only a few Pokemon like that in gen 6. I typically prefer animal-like Pokemon, not ones based on objects. After having a bunch of them, things start to get kind of silly, lol.

Yeah, I agree... If there will be more object-pokemon then ppl living in pokemon world should be able to talkto their chairs, cupboards, tables and computers... A bit too schizofremic world...

So what do you guys think of Mega Charizard X and Y? Personally, I much prefer X. I like Y version's more classic look, but...Blue flames, guys! Blue flames! You can't get much cooler than that! xD

I'm curious as to what a shiny Charizard will look like as a Mega X...

Anyway, anyone else see the final evolutions for the starters? I don't think they're confirmed yet, but chances are they're real since some people already have the game. At first, I was so disappointed. Just...Gah. No wonder they're giving us the Kanto starters, too.

Now, Fennekin's final evo is kind of growing on me. The poor quality pic that's going around makes them worse than they probably are, so I'm waiting for the official artwork to be released.

Only one more week! If there's a midnight release, I am going to be there. Already prepaid for my Pokemon X game.

I have seen the final evolutions through some youtube videos. Just as I thought, Chespin's final evo looks like an armored knight, Fennekin's looks like a sorcerer. and Froakie's looks like a ninja.

I already have what I want picked out: Fennekin, Squirtle and the DL Torchic.

most of the new Pokemon seem awesome, though there are a few I don't like. The keyring Pokemon, the Honedge line, and the slime-dragon. But the rest look magnificent.

I'm about 100% sure that one reason for having different mega evolutions for the different versions is so that people will buy both of them, not just one, like me.
I don't like Mega Garchomp. Reminds me of the Grim Reaper or something.
I love Amaura and Tyrunt though. It's a dragon... but not with the weaknesses!
I do hope they won't be version exclusive...

I preordered. The're doing a midnight release where I got it. I actually like Mega Garchomp somewhat. It has a nice design, overall. I'm just a fan of dark things like that. :3

Click here to see some of the Mega Evolutions! C: You'd think that Mega Absol would be Dark AND Fairy type :p I still haven't pre-ordered it, but I'm going on a vacation then anyway, so maybe I'll just buy it then >.>

I like how it's staying an all-dark type, but I wouldn't mind if it could use some fairy moves. I wish it was an evolution, though...

@Zorupix: People have been saying that the starters are all part of a theme: Warrior/Mage/Rogue. Chespin is the warrior, Fenniken is the mage, and Froakie is the rogue. Or, that's what people have been saying, at least. I am a little bummed that Delphox lost the twig in its tail, but the fanart on this page makes it look so cool. The ear tufts are a little cringe-worthy in the game screenshot, but maybe the animation will make them look better.

Apparently the lucky people who got the game early have been posting more of the Pokemon, and are all getting shut down by Nintendo. I managed to see a couple and they are amazing. I still really, really love this gen!

Anyway, I don't really care for Mega Garchomp either. xD I'm kind of hoping that it'll get an X version exclusive, too. One that'll appeal to me a little more. And I wish Absol got a real evolution, too! D: Oh, well. A mega evo is better than nothing.

Also....I really, really hope they do something for Dunsparce. Like. Seriously. xD

I loved Fennekin's design...until I saw the final form. I mean, the first two stages were great, but on the last one, everything seems kind of...slapped on. I probably will give it an everstone in the middle evolution stage, or something. Or maybe I'll get Froakie. Does Frogadier remind anyone else of Grovyle? I used to hate Grovyle, but it's one of my favorites now. <3 Also, the final evolution is like Sceptile. :3

Anyways, have you heard about the special blue Mega Charizard for X? Sooooo glad I chose to preorder X... The Y Charizard is just like the ones we've seen so far.

I also agree that the ear tufts on Delphox are cringe-worthy. I just really don't like how they're attached. They just look so...flat. If they were more poofy, and maybe a dress that looked more ball-gowny, I think it could have looked way better.

I have no idea why but I laughed at this way harder than I should have.

So why is there a stick in Braixen's (Fenniken's first evo) tail? It apparently calms it and it can also do this:

;D
