The Fabled Ones (1x1 with Dragonsoul)

He felt somewhat uncomfortable under Abeline's presence, but not bad enough that he couldn't deal with it. Perhaps it was her eyes--no, he had been fine with that before. He shrugged it off, looking at the water in an attempt to distract his mind.
Abeline's shoulders bobbed. "Whatever you think is easier. However, it might be better if we found a cave rather than creating one, because the sound might attract the soldiers back here, and they would probably notice the shift in landscape." Abeline had been hunted for about two years now, and demon or not, people searching for others tend to revisit the same spot. A mound of sand would be a dead give-away to their coordinates.
"Good point," he noted, looking around at the lake. Argh. The only caves I know of near here would be underwater, he thought, knowing that that wasn't an option for the sake of both him and Fallow. Fallow stepped forwards, almost dangerously close to the water. Her tail swished in thought and she looked back at them. A spark seemed to light up her blue eyes, meaning she had an idea. "I can scan around the lake for caves... because, um, flying," she murmured. "Yeah, I guess if you want," Marshall murmured. Fallow nodded and, although a focus look crossed her face, easily levitated over the water. Marshall's dark aura strengthened her wings, making them larger so that she could actually fly and not just levitate pathetically. She flew off into the distance, casting invisibility upon herself.
As Fallow disappeared into thin air, awkwardness descended upon the duo left behind like a wet blanket, annoying and smothering. Abeline scuffled her foot in the grit, and tried to make small talk. "So, um... where are you from?"
"In the US, but far away from here." Abeline took a look around before adding, "I think." The silence was once again dominant in their conversation. Where is Fallow? Abeline wailed in her head. "Uh... so, um, why are you in the human world?"
Struggle is real)
Argh. I don't hate Abeline, but this is seriously awkward... Marshall thought, moving the sand with his foot again. "Um... we're running from the soldiers and the demon world is sorta... against us, I guess? It's not that good to be a hybrid in our world," he said, uncomfortably. It wasn't a light topic for either of the twins. Fallow suddenly teleported back, a somewhat delightful look in her eyes.
"I found a small cave, but I think it'll do. Come," she said, not even waiting for a reply. She grabbed Marshall's hand and put a hand on Abeline's shoulder, dragging them forwards a bit before teleporting. It was a damp cave with low lighting and even lower ceilings, but it didn't seem to be a problem. Marshall's head wasn't quite at the ceiling, and Abeline was approximately his height. Plus, Fallow was short, so it wasn't really a problem. A waterfall cloaked the entrance, and Fallow pulled Marshall back from the water. "Don't touch that," she warned.
Abeline ducked her head inside the cave. Her eyebrow cocked at Fallow's warning to Marshall, but she knew better than to pry. Instead, she made (the amazingly wonderful) small talk. "How did you find this cave? And where are the exits?" Even though Fallow, and possibly Marhsall, had teleportation powers, she wasn't about to get lazy with her safety. There was one rule that she stuck to, and never broke. Always, always be careful. Mistakes and being clumsy could get one killed, or, worse, locked up and experimented on.
(Abeline's just gonna walk around a bit, I don't really know what else to do with her, tbh XD)
(//crap post, don't really know what I'm doing but posting it anyways//)
As she came to the edge, she made a clumsy dive, nearly trying again, but continued on her path as she propelled herself forwards. The cave jutted out into the water, and she had to swim underneath it for awhile. For a moment, she was panicked that she would drown, but her head bobbed to the surface in time. She dog-paddled, surprised how close the cave was to shore, while she waited for the twins to appear.
(Aaaaa, I've had it happen too many times)
Fallow appeared, flying, whilst holding on to Marshall's wrists to keep them out of the water. "Ohgodwaves," Marshall yelped, genuinely afraid of the water. She flew higher above the water, looking around a bit before she found Abeline. "There you are," she murmured, about to hover down but realizing that she probably shouldn't.

Trauma glanced around the terrain. There was a large body of water just beyond the rock that he hid under. It's not worth it. There are others... he thought, tempted to just go up anyways. So why wasn't he turning back? He closely examined the girl that was swimming. She had strange, icy eyes, which indicated that she couldn't be human. The flying one, obviously, was a demon--or a devil? The other one was probably a devil-demon too. Curiosity killed the cat, I guess... he thought, about to step out before the aqua-haired girl landed, a gust of darkness hurling off of her before she did. He was knocked back into a rotting tree, making the branches fall down with a crash.

(Wait, how did Fallow land?! 0-0)
Abeline paddled to shore, knowing that the two would be able to follow easily. As she reached the sand, a sigh of relief blew from between her lips, and she wiped the water off them. When she stood up, she shed a coat of sand, but some persistent particles remained attached. She gave a brief sigh, before treading forward, looking for something edible.
"What was that?" Fallow muttered, jumping a bit as she looked towards the fallen branches. "Oh. That was probably from the darkness that spread out when we landed," Marshall replied apologetically. "Are you sure?..." Fallow said skeptically, looking over at the crashed branched nervously. None of the other branches had crashed, so was there something about that tree? "C'mon," Marshall said, about to being the search for food. Fallow slipped away, going towards the pile of dead branches because of moral. She lightly moved the large branch, looking back at Marshall and Abeline. "Um... guys, can you come over here?" She called out, looking at the unconscious elf body on the ground.
Abeline picked her way to Fallow, alert for danger. Her instincts were razor sharp as she came up behind her, and she regarded the situation calmly. "Who is he? Do you know him?" After the corpse scare, an unconscious person didn't quite scare her as much. She took note of his pointed ears. Well, if all the fantasy I read when I was younger was right at all, this guy's an elf.
