"Don't you want to find out what it is?" Moonclaw asks. "We can meet up right here by sunhigh. If one of us doesn't show up, the other looks for them! Besides, I'm sure someone saw us leave..." She shrugs. "Your call."

Moonclaw nods and heads west, towards the lake. She kept her ears pricked for the ringing sound, and eventually begins skirting the lake, straining to listen.

Frozendusk doesn't hear anything for the longest time, and he begins to wonder how Moonclaw is holding up. "I don't hear anything....maybe it's gone now?" He still clung to that little hope he'd find lit whatever that sound was, however, despite the grim-looking chances at this point.

Brookpaw was standing by the lake, ears pricked. She had heard the ringing too, and figured it was coming from the lake. Her paw accidentally crossed into IceClan's territory, but she didn't notice.

(Sorry for not posting that much! )

Brokensky had gone out by herself. She grew tired with the other cats in her clan, rather than waking up, they'd sleep, rather than patrolling, they'd mess around. Who cares? she growled stiffly, They're gonna have some blame if FireClan randomly attack. she slunk through the trees, her dark pelt blending into the mud and fallen leaves. She had noticed that she had grown weary with the cats of her own clan recently, from not responding to DewDrop earlier and not wanting any more apprentices, she couldn't help but feel some irritation that the cats in the clan didn't do precisely what she wished. Grumbling to herself and giving a lash of her tail, she almost lost the sudden scent that filled her nose. FireClan!

Lowering her body and slowly dragging it across the forest floor with slow movements, she looked through a small bush, her sharp sighted eyes catching the sight of a cat. The sight was unmistakable, the cat, however young, was entering IceClan territory. Don't FireClan have the intelligence to teach their cats basic clan etiquette? Or do they lack that along with everything else? Furious, she lowered herself again and slowly made her way around the bush, readying herself for a fight.



Sandpaw lingered in the FireClan camp, he was unsure on what to do as other cats had headed out. He sighed and sat down, flicking his tail with some impatience. "Why can't I be a warrior yet?" he whined to himself quietly, flicking a bit of dirt up from the ground with his paw, bored stiff and longing for a hunting patrol.

Brookpaw's head shot up. She'd finally noticed where she was. Oh no! She leapt backwards in terror, realizing she was on IceClan's territory, and she could smell Brokensky's IceClan-y scent.

Dewdrop frowned, looking at her herbs. Brokensky hadn't answered her. Her ears were pricked as she listened to the wind, before suddenly dashing out of camp.

MinnowPaw trotted cheerily back into the IceClan camp, her tail swishing slightly as she dropped a squirrel into the fresh-kill pile. Running her tongue along her maw in a swift of light pink, she ducked into the apprentices' den and sprawled out onto her nest, purring at the sensation.

SoftPaw dashed suddenly back into FireClan camp, skidding slightly into the dusty clearing. He walked over to GravelFur's den, gently placing a small bundle of Yarrow, CatMint, and Chervil before the medicine cat as he grinned sheepishly. "I'm sorry I was gone for so long," he said quietly "I'll be honest I was a little lost but I managed to find some herbs on my way back!" He curled his tail around to rest on his front paws, his ears twitching.

((haha whoops totally didn't just come in late aha *sweats*))

Brookpaw turned and sprinted back into the forest, pausing to collect the mouse she had caught, and the Dock and Coltsfoot she had found, rushing back to FireClan camp.

Gravelfur looked up as he noticed the apprentice. "Lost in your own territory?" he chuckles. "It's fine. I got Brookpaw to help me earlier, but I don't think we grabbed any of these herbs. These look good." He bent to sniff them, then his eyes snapped back up to Softpaw's. "Tell me, what would we use these herbs for?"

Brookpaw burst into the medicine den, and paused. "Oh, sorry." She mewed, dropping the herbs she had collected. "I brought you some new herbs. I noticed the other ones looked kind of dead."

SoftPaw grinned, separating the herbs with gentle paws. He touched his tail tip to the Yarrow, "Yarrow is for wounds to prevent infections and ridding a cat of poison. If swallowed it will make a cat vomit." He shuddered slightly before twitching his tail towards the Chervil, "Chervil leaves cure infections, while the roots cure belly aches." He puffed out his chest slightly as he odded to the CatMint, "CatMint is the cure for Greencough."

"Correct! You're learning well," Gravelfur said. "Oh, and thank you, Brookpaw. I'm glad you knew which ones to find. Are you sure you weren't a medicine cat in another life?" he joked before pulling the herbs she had brought closer.

((how long has Softpaw been an apprentice? Like, how close is he to being a full medicine cat?))

Brookpaw grinned. "Maybe!" She said cheerfully. She nudged the Dock. "Dock can be chewed and applied to a cat to soothe scratches." She flicked her tail towards the Coltsfoot. "And Coltsfoot can be chewed into pulp, which can be eaten to help the shortness of breath." She paused. "I think."

SoftPaw beamed, his tail curling in content. He smiled at BrookPaw and gathered up his gathered bundles of herbs, sorting them into their respective piles. "Hey BrookPaw! How's training going?" He asked casually around a mouthful of Chervil leaves, gently separating the roots.

((I feel like it'd be safe to say he's pretty close, he needs to work on deciphering prophecies and other StarClan related things but he knows most herbs and their uses by memory. Like if possibly he could probably medicine cat level in around eight-ish moons?))
