"N-no!" Lewis said, "That would be my first trainer battle... and you would destroy me..." Axel stifled a laugh. Lewis obviously had little-to-no confidence. Without that, he would barely be a threat at all!

Cyndaquil growled slightly at Axel and sent him a warning glance. Tiger then nodded, "alright then" he said kindly, "come on Cyndaquil lets go get some berries then" he said softly. Cyndaquil nodded and jumped onto Tiger's shoulder "if you change your mind I'll be in the forest" he said.

"Okay," Rick said, not even hearing Axel's laugh. He checked the map. "Well... Route 121 looks promising," he said in pokemon so they could both understand, "Shall we go?" They all agreed, and off to route 121 they went.

Tiger walked to the forest near the town, he then jumped up a few branches and began to scale the tree. "Look for useful berries or apples" Tiger said to Cyndaquil the Pokemon nodded and followed Tiger up.

Lewis, Arche, and Axel were now at route 121. "Okay, so, here, you can sometimes find wild pokemon," Lewis explained to Arche, "Sometimes, they'll attack you, it they do, we defend ourselves by fighting back. I don't really have any special attacks or powers like you two, but Ill try to help when I can. Arche and Axel nodded, and they all set out. At first, they trained by fighting against each other, but soon, pokemon were swarming them, ready to attack. After a long while, they finally had a break. "Wow..." Arche said, "This isn't easy..." "No kidding," Axel lied, who was just fine having years of training with his master, but had to fake sweat to not rise suspicion. Suddenly, Lewis heard a moan behind him. It sounded like a call for help. Lewis quickly turned around. "Who was that?" he said.

Lewis walked over to the source of the noise, and saw a Linoone, curled up in a ball and hurt. There was blood dripping down it's face and it was trembling. Lewis realized it didn't look like a normal Linoone. It had different markings. It looked like this:

Lewis moved towards it. "Are you okay...?" he asked. The Linoone turned around, it's eyes wide with fear. "It's okay..." Lewis said, trying to soothe the pokemon, "I wont hurt you..." But the Linoone wasn't looking at Lewis anymore. It looked to it's left, then yelled, "LOOK OUT!!!" at Lewis. Lewis turned to his right, saw a huge shadow in front of him, and was tackled.

(Let's pretend Victor is picking berries with Tiger...Victor seems to be missing all the flights)

Victor picked some berries from a tree. He had torterra out. Torterra was a help in picking the best leaves. He used razor leaf to make some drop, and offered some berries to cyndaquill from his trees.

(Ok, I swear I'm trying not to continue without you too much I really wish I knew why Absolite wasn't posting anymore, I know mew is moving so she'll be off for a bit, but I miss Absolite)

Cyndaquil grabbed the berries from Torterra, and nodded a thanks. "They look good" he said with a smile. Tiger was high in a tree he was picking some Cheri berries.

(I remember the time when you and absolite simply filled the hoenn forums... And I couldn't get a word in...
Anyways, I don't mind. I can always read through)

Torterra roamed about in the forest, happily looking at the grassy trees. He was startled when a starkly began to construct a nest on one of his trees.

(I'm having a sudden urge to bring the Sun/Moon starters here)

(I remember that too, man I felt bad for the people who quit because recaps were hard to keep up with...)

"You alright" Cyndaquil asked the Torterra kindly, as he ran over.

(I kinda want to wait until more info on them comes out, all we know is their basic form, as well as one move for each)

"Yes, I'm alright." Torterra said. He was feeling very happy. Victor came along and spotted Torterra and the starly nest on the torterra's tree. He opened up his pokedex.
"Some Pokémon are born on a Torterra's back and spend their entire life there." The pokedex rambled on.
"It proves the Torterra pokedex entries..." Victor said absent-mindedly.

Tiger nodded, and Cyndaquil climbed to the ground. "That's cool, but how would you fight if you've got to help protect the starly" Cyndaquil said curiously. Tiger sighed and jumped to the ground.

"Well, I'm not much of an attacker. I usually play defensive. In fact, I'm the only Pokemon of master who has a healing move." Torterra said. He felt sure he would be able to protect them all. And people said that Torterra's back shells were immovable.

(Idea...what if they attack, and Tiger, Victor, Cyndaquil, and Torrerra are sent to the past as Celebi tried to protect the, from Team Voltage?)

(Nice! Though I had an idea rumbling for days in my mind. I though about Victor finding a golden knight armor..)

Torterra found some more berries and put them in his basket with his vines.

(Hmm we could combine them and have them get taken to the past at an old castle area maybe Kalos)

(Kalos must be ok! I could have Blaze finding something about the heroic greninja, the one VBlaze is based on...)

Victor picked some berries from a tree and fed one to Torterra.
"Though I don't need it..." Torterra said, before gobbling the berry up.

(Alright, I've also have an idea for Cyndaquil. Figuring out why he has his ability, which I will base simewhere in Kalos should we have the attack start now)


Cyndaquil looked away from the trees, and looked at tiger then at Celebi who was flying over head.

Mike landed somewhere in the forest where the others were collecting berries. Torterra just escaped from seeing them.

Whew! Mike thought. He looked at cyndaquill, and celebi.
