Hi, Tetra here! I wanted to start a forum on an odd, i wouldn't say
problem but...inconvenience i run into when i am interacting. i
typically hold in and click, to interact, since it doesnt require
much thought, and i can do it while watching a show or talking to
my boyfriend. However, i find that the repeated clicking on my
mouse, REALLY hurts my hand. Do any of you have methods of
interacting that doesnt hurt? like a certain way of clicking or
holding your mouse? Or am i just a baby? Feel free to share your
methods, ponder new ones, or even whine with me XD ill share any
methods come across as well. Peace!
+1 for the heavy object technique, I do that because sometimes I
get really immersed into the video I'm watching and end up making
my finger numb because I press it so hard. At least with the mouse
I'm not holding it down, so it's not as bad.
I found a new technique for iPad! But it is only suitable for berry
interaction. I remember the places where the 'next' and 'berry'
icons appear, and I make my fingers 'dance' over those two points.
It isn't as efficient as a laptop, but it works!
Honestly wish they would just remove the second step so all you had
to do was press your mouse key or one button repeatedly. My wrists
are already kinda messed up so my hands get cramped and what not
really fast. :(

Since I had my first Hack-usation about my clicking (seems 46K a
day is hacking to some lol) I'll share how I do it.
I'm on a desktop PC and definitely the key is placing something
heavy on the N key for you. I have a pen with a chewed lid that I
lock in place between my monitor stand and keyboard so it's
pressing the N key in (yes it does fall out every few minutes lol).
Then I have the mouse sideways in the middle of the desk and hold
it with my right or left hand, I hover over the top and spam from
above with my fingers of the opposite hand, I swap fingers and
hands over when they begin to hurt.
Another key is to use Chrome or another fast browser - this site
does NOT do well in Firefox - in Firefox I was only clicking 15-20K
a day because it was so, so slow, it can't handle the reloading of
the 20 adopts to click every few seconds (and even on the slot
machine it reloads the entire page every spin). Since I've changed
to Chrome this feels like a different site, so much faster.
To "zone out" I have 2 browsers open so the PH one only covers
1/3rd of the screen and I can see half of the feed button and watch
sci fi series in FF on the other 2/3rds of the screen while I
click, but music can also help.
It's still painful if you click too much, but just remember with
Shaymin you have until the 4th September so don't go putting
yourself in pain.
Much as my hurting hands and fingers would love the second step to
be removed it would encourage bot clickers. I have considered
binding mouse 1 to another key but from GPX+ where you spam the
spacebar or 1/2/3/4/5 keys to feed, it's actually less of a pain to
tap the top of the mouse with different fingers so I'll continue
doing that.
They already have something in place for anti-bots though. That
thing that pops up after so many clicks that makes you choose a
specific pokemon from the list. How does the second step really
deter botters anyways?

I don't usually interact especially after my computer broke so I'm
just stuck on my phone nowadays.
When my computer was working, I interact by pressing the N key and
the leftpad 5 button, I made it so that I could click with my
keyboard since mouse can ran out of clicks and I'm not that rich to
buy a lot of mouse everytime my mouse ran out since I'm a gamer.
Clicking with the keyboard is a lot easier and it doesn't hurt my
hand as much.
I typically find it better that instead of watching TV that I watch
something online and split my screen. That way I don't focus on the task of
interacting and focus on whatever I'm watching easier.
I also hold down the N-key with my left index finger or find
something heavy like a stack of pennies (or tape the key down) if I
don't feel like holding it. But if my fingers start to hurt, which
I don't really notice until I hit about 3k, then I switch them.
It's a little uncomfortable at first, but you end up getting used
to using your middle & ring fingers sometimes too. :b
My laptop also has a touchscreen feature, so I may just tap the
screen and hold N if I get too lazy.
I've slowed down on interacting a bit because I don't have as much
time or patience and do other things on- and off-site but I can
make anywhere from 6 to 12k in a day.
I click on my phone it relieves stress because I can do it real
easy while laying down and watching TV as well. However clicks are
MUCH slower on the phone as I don't think this was a game meant to
be played on a mobile.
Luckily, since I collect crystals and minerals I have a few pieces
that are fairly small but still weigh a fair amount. I prop those
up on my N key and I just have to click through with one hand. By
splitting my screen I just put on a few streams or binge a few
seasons of Dexter on netflix and I easily get lost in the show and
rack up a fair amount of interactions.
