The oracle has spoken a new prophecy, Involving a Daughter of Hermes, a son of Aphrodite, and a son of Ares



The Prophecy:

Upon a daughter of thieves
the forsworn blade shall return its deed
Within a son of war
the rage will come out at the shore
And among the daughter of love
a single flower will bloom from above

Apollo:
Empty (none player charachter campers only at the moment)

Artemis:
Obviously empty

Hephaestus:
Empty (non-player charachter Hephaestus children only at the moment)

Aphrodite:
Empty (non player character children only at the moment
(Anna, once claimed))

Hermes:
Mackenzie (female, 16)
Anna(unclaimed (soon to be Aphrodite))
(Other non player charachters (unclaimed and Hermes))

Demeter:
Non player charachters only at the moment



Rules:
Show hidden content

No god-modding, even though they are children of the gods, stay within that gods boundaries
No Mary-sue's/Gary-stu's. That means no "Has an IQ of 5000, can crush things with his/her mind."
Check to see if all the children of the prophecy are taken or not before applying for one.
Max of 4 characters.
Make sure your god is Greek, so that means no using the christian God

Keene stepped out of the ares cabin, blinking against the bright sun. He stretched for a moment, basking in the early morning sun. He checked his watch, grinning at the time. He had about an hour before the first thing on his schedule. He walked out, sitting at the top of one of the strawberry hills and just enjoyed the early morning sounds. He was facing the entire camp, watching people leave their cabins and go about their mornings.

Keene walked down the hill and towards the training facility. He swung by Ares cabin and grabbed his staff on the way.

Mackenzie got over to the Training center and started practicing. I need to adjust my angle, and aim... I'll never be able to combat long range with these skills...

Keene walked into the training center and waved at Mackenzie as he entered, going over to the training dummies and practicing with his staff, focusing on stance instead of power.

"Hey, breakfast is in 10" Keene said, checking his watch and wiping the small amount of sweat that had accumulated on his forehead while practicing. He figured Mackenzie probably wouldnt want to miss breakfast, most important meal of the day and all that.

"Of course not, theres a chance breakfast is waffles." Keene pointed out. In his opinion waffles were one of the superior breakfast foods. "Im Keene, you are?" He asked, holding the door to the training center open.

"Cool" Keene said, not really knowing why Mackenzie had pointed it out. He followed Mackenzie as she left the training center, closing the door gently behind him. He wasnt too fond of it when the door slammed shut. "I mean, I dont really get why people let who their godly parent is influence how they are but, whatever. You do you." He said with a shrug as they started towards the dining pavilion.

I decided to swing by the Hermes cabin to grab my sword and put in some practice at the training center. I had a feeling that some other campers would be there as well, I reached for my sword and put it back in the hilt located on the left-hand side of my waist and made my way towards the door. I turned the knob and thrusted it open gently, the smell of nature calm and refreshing. I didn't want to be late for breakfast but I really wanted to practice for a bit. I walked towards the training dummies and unsheathed my stygian iron sword. I got into an attacking stance trading feints, thrusts and parries with an unexpected, lightning quick speed, nearly impossible to follow. The sword buried itself into the dummies side, grazing the fabric. I repeated the process several times, appearing to know what I was doing. I've been at the camp for a while, eight years in fact and have been training ever since.

"Oh, I don't let my father manipulate my personality. I've been told that I have Ares's temper. I guess you could say it's true, if you trigger it." She looked ahead, over at the dining pavilion. She began to feel a bit tired after the training, due to her lack of sleep last night.

I continued to train until I felt tired, sweat dripping from my forehead. I wiped some of the sweat off my head and sheathed my sword into it's hilt. What time is it now? I felt like I've been training for hours.. I thought to myself making my way towards the dining pavilion. I noticed some other campers doing the same as I was. I hoped the Hermes cabin was clean, since they would be going cabin inspections while campers were eating breakfast. Who was I kidding, of course the cabin isn't clean, all of the unclaimed campers lived there, including him, since Hades didn't have a cabin yet.

Keene looked over in Blake's direction and gave a cheery wave in lieu of shouting good morning. "But yeah, Temper is a common thing, Ares kids just have a tendency. Statistics are a thing, and then 'Ares temper' becomes a thing." He said, turning back to Mackenzie as they walked.
