I understand that it must not be posted anywhere before but what if it was posted in another confidential contest and never seen by the public? Will that disqualify the sprite as well?

EDIT: And what do we put in the Event Description box? Like a generalistics? >u> Cause it's not in the example.

Are we allowed to make multiple entries, and if we do, will all of said entries have an equal chance of winning, or will we need to choose one by the end of the competition? (I assume based on previous posts that we may make as many as we want, but I would like clarification anyway.)

The winners are chosen by Raiko and the team, not voted on by us. And if it was a case of voting, I'm pretty sure it would be anonymous because voting for someone just because they are your friend is discouraged - voting should be based on the entry itself, regardless of who entered it :/

When you say the sprite has to be made by you, does that mean it all has to be scratched? Or can you use basic sprites like from here for the base of your sprite?

I also have a question.
Since the sprites on the server are PNGs, is it okay to use translucency, since that works with PNGs? (For example, can the edges of a sparkle or something fade out instead of just being cut short and going straight to transparency?)

I don't think I'll be entering this. My knowledge of sprite making is very little (if you want an example, Carpet's question alone left me confused) and the Spriting Thread made me even more confused.

JustMe; Well, we usually use main game Pokemon sprites as base and actually I thought this was a little obvious. I mean, yep you can use basic sprites and scratch/fuse/whatever over them. However I just can say yes to main games ones :b

Diana, hm if you have doubts you can ask me on PM about general spriting. I am not good at explaining derp :p but I can try

submitted 2 ideas... well, this is first time i tried spriting. so my chances will be low... but i am nervous cause i like my ideas, but think better spriters could realise them more beautifull^^
