All the reasons to not implement this are for the auctions that are on the same day or within a few hours. What about those of us who place a bid on something 13+ days out? That is the main reason I support something like this is for those week+ auctions you might bid on and then even if you do constantly check, it's easy to forget about them if you were outbid days ago.

It could be a restricted feature that only applies if there's X amount of time left on an auction, so you can't use it for things less than 24 hours. It could give you a notification at reset that day saying "Reminder: The auction for _________ is ending today"
That would be all it is.

I don't use actual auction sites, nor do I ever plan to. This said, I can't and won't have a timer counting down for over 7 days for something I've placed a bid on that I am saving up to come back to once I'm out bid.

Also for the person saying that someone might not place enough to be the top bid, you have to put enough to be above the current bid for it to count. I've typo'd enough times to know XD

I'd support this as long as it tells you one day ahead of time, not something like a few minutes or half an hour before it ends.
