Ellis, trying to make a joke out of the whole thing, put her acting
skills to good work. "Are you saying they're desperate because the
want me? Wow, harsh... Reaaal harsh." She said, with mock
offense written on her features. No matter how good of an actor she
was, her real expression, which was a mix of fear and funniness,
shone through lightly. The boys glared at him before returning to
their lunch, grumbling things about him to each other.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"I can be reaaal harsh." I cracked a joke back, trying to
imitate her voice. But in the end I failed miserably. Oh well, I
finished up the rest of my lunch since I didn't have much left.
"Hey, have any spare croutons?" I asked with a goofy expression on
my face.
"Yep, here ya go~!" Ellis purred happily, handing the croutons with
a napkin. She set in by his empty plate before chewing on her own
food. She stared off into space, mindlessly nibbling a juicy
strawberry with a thoughtful look on her face.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"Hmmmm..." Ellis hummed softly, eyes filled with confliction as she
thought about what role she'd like more. Sharpay... Gabriella...
Kelsi... WHICH ONE, DANG IT?! She let out a sigh, dropping her head
onto the wooden table with a thump
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"What's wrong, Ellis?" I asked after finishing another
crouton. They were pretty good, reminded him of toasted garlic
bread. But what was wrong with Ellis this time? Hopefully it wasn't
those boys again, he made it pretty clear for them to lay
off.
"I'm so bad at decisions..." Ellis groaned, glaring at the ground
like it had killed her puppy. She let out a soft sigh and closed
her eyes, crossing her arms softly.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"Oh. Well, I guess I can relate. I'm not too great at
decisions either." I replied, it was true. Maybe it had something
to do with her play she mentioned? Maybe she was deciding on a
role? Well, I hardly even knew what it's about, so I didn't ask for
anymore details.
"Yeah, decisions suck. Can't we just do everything?" Ellis asked,
and sighed again. But as soon as she thought about what would
happen if she was all three, she giggled into her palm lightly.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"I guess they do suck, in a way." I ate another crouton, I
noticed Ellis burst into fitful giggling. "What's it this time?" I
asked after I finished my crouton, grinning.
"Just thinking.. what if I was Sharpay, Gabriella, and Kelsi. It'd
be a wreck of a musical, that's for sure." Ellis said, picking up
her head and nibbling another fruit.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"Hold on. One, I don't know what your talking about,
besides about the play your auditioning for. And two, who are these
characters you speak of?" I asked, before launching the last
crouton into my mouth.
"Okay, here. One sec" Ellis pulled a play book with the script from
her bag. She went to the beginning, where it said all the
personalities of each character. "Sharpay: popular, self-centered
drama queen who loves to be, and often is, in the spotlight. She is
co-president of the drama club along side her brother Ryan, and the
twins, being the only two in the school truly shown to have
interest in the performing arts, are Ms. Darbus's favorite
students. The Evans twins have starred in all school productions
since kindergarten, and she craves the spotlight. Gabriella:
Exrodinarily beautiful and very smart, she's a complete nerd. She
meets Troy at a Karaoke sing with him. They feel a strong
connection, and as luck would have it, they end up attending the
same school, East High. There, they become close friends, and
eventually begin dating. When the two meet up at the auditions for
the winter concert, they try out for the callbacks and do a duet of
a song called Breaking Free. Kelsi: The Composer for the whole
play, a thespian and nerd mix. Though she stays with the thespians,
she talks to a few brainicas, such as Jack Scott and Gabriella
Montez." She finished, heaving a sigh.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"Oh.." I muttered quietly "Maybe you should try and pick a
role that fits your personality, wouldn't that make the whole
acting thing easier?" I asked. Out of all those roles, he had one
in mind for Ellis, but wasn't sure how I'd turn out.
"Well, I have no clue how to define my personality... any clue who
I might be like?" Ellis had started to drift off into thought, but
looked back at him when she asked the questions. 'I hope I'm not
like Sharpay...' She thought, smiling at him expectantly.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
I thought about it for a moment, then answered "Gabriella.
You seem like you'd fit Gabriella's role quite well. Though that's
coming from an amateur like me, it's really all up to you." I
flashed her a playful grin.
"Gabriella? Wow. It's good she's a great charcter! Though she is
sickly sweet and innocent, I bet I could fit that role pretty
well." Ellis said, sending him her own playful grin back.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"That's good to hear, even though I don't even know what
the play's about." I laughed awkwardly. I've never had a great
interest in plays, I'd watch them if I was bored, or if I saw one I
liked in particular but I've never really enjoyed the art of
theater. I enjoyed the animal medical field instead. But he didn't
know if he should stick with house pets, like a house cat or
rabbit, or exotic animals like a lion or zebra.
"I would tell you, but I'm scared you'd fall asleep in boredom. You
don't really seem like the theater type of person." Ellis said with
a giggle. She shook her head as she giggled, and finished her
strawberries. She began to eat her grapes, nibbling on them softly.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
{OOC; Sorry! I'm traveling so I won't be able to post that
often. ^^;;;}
"Haha, you guessed right. Yeah, I guess I'm not the theater type of
person." I laughed awkwardly, somewhat embarrassed. It was fun
talking to Ellis, she was one of the only people that would listen
to him. The people here can be real jerks.. I thought to
myself, a somewhat annoyed expression on my face.
