"Aww, you guys don't have to... I'm just scared of everything."
Ellis said, putting up her hands and shaking her head. She gave
them a smile, still denying that they should do that for her. I
mean, heck, they barely just met and they're like best friends.
After about 30 minutes of knowing each other, they spilled out
their life stories to each other, and she even sobbed in front of
him. She wasnt sure whether to be proud or ashamed.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"I don't think your scared of everything, that's being a
bit too dramatic." I said. "Yeah.. I mean, I guess you could be
scared of everything. But I think that's a lot of stress.. if you
know what I mean.." Kain muttered.
"I over exaggerate a lot, m'kay? And of course I'm dramatic! I'm a
theater major, afterall!" Ellis said, rolling her eyes. She
was actually under a ton of stress anyway, for good reason too. She
had just been in an accident, one of her two only best friends
around here almost died shielding her, and she was going to figure
out who got what roles in the play soon! That's a ton to
handle, and in the mass of two days, no less!
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"Reminds me of our younger cousin, she is the definition of
dramatic." I sneered "No kidding, she was nagging you to go on the
escalator, when she knows your scared of them." Kain replied. "Ten
minutes arguing. And I won, which was probably for the best. Since
I was NOT going on that escalator." I spat and folded my arms
together.
"Makes me feel good that I remind you of your over dramatic cousin,
whom sounds like a pain in the butt." Ellis said, sighing. She did
have to admit, she was a drama queen, but listening to other people
tell her so kinda hurt her feelings a little bit.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"We didn't mean to hurt your feelings." Me and Kain said in
sync "You're not a pain in the butt." I said. "You're fun to be
around." Kain added. "We were just saying that our little cousin
can be a turd." I sighed. "No kidding" Kain muttered under his
breath.
"Pssh, don't worry! You guys didn't do anything! I was just being
my causal dorky self!" Ellis said, shaking her head with a smile to
reassure them that they were fine. They were just talking about
their slightly bratty cousin.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"Alright. Hey, Ellis. What kind of bands to you like to
listen to?" I asked out of curiosity, she had been playing Panic!
At the Disco in my car. My car.. I drove to the college campus in
that car. I could probably take dads.. but doesn't he need it
for work? I thought.
"Bands...? Oh, I listen to mostly alternative. So, bands are like
Panic! At The Disco, Gorillaz, Twenty One Pilots, Of Monsters and
Men, and Marina and the Diamonds. There are some others, but I'm
already ranting, so no need to go into them~!" Ellis listed,
counting the bands on her fingers, and smiling at the two softly.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"I see. Ellis, sorry about not y'know.. taking you to do
something fun." I said I also promised you that I'd take you
somewhere. I thought to myself. Kain listened to the
conversation, not making a noise. "I don't really like breaking my
promises." I muttered to myself very quietly.
"Oh, it's fine! It's not your fault! You didn't decide to get hit!"
Ellis said, shaking her head. She patted Alan's head to comfort him
somehow, smiling at him reassuringly.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"I ship it like fedex." Kain grinned, refering to me and
Ellis acting so chummy towards each other. "Please Kain, she can't
handle a hot guy like me." I said running my hand through my messy
hair. It hurt somewhat, but I didn't want to say that out
loud.
"Huh? I don't deserve you? Sir, I believe you don't deserve
me. Don't lie to yourself." Ellis said, raising a eyebrow. She
smirking at him, winking softly for no freaking reason.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"Okay. Okay, let's be honest here. I'm hot as hell." I said
grinning. "Too hot~" Kain sang. "Hot damn." we both said in sync.
"That song is my life story." I added. "So fortunate to have a good
looking brother." Kain smiled. "You bet you are." I said.
"You guys are such freaking dorks." Ellis said as she giggled at
the two's antics. She shook her head, now giggLing so hard her face
was tinged red. She had the dorkiest of friends. And it was
fabulous~.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"Dorkiest dorks ever." We said in sync once more. "Me
having this much fun won't change the fact I'm pissed that my car
got wrecked." I sighed. "It's just a car." Kain muttered. "No, it
was a car I had to pay for, for like five years." I glared at
Kain.
"I can use some of my funds to help pay to fix it." Ellis said,
trying to stop the two brothers from fighting. She flinched at
Alain's glare, hissing through her teeth quietly at the sight. God,
she hated arguments. And we wonder why...
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"No, no. It's alright Ellis." My expression softened and
looked at her. "I don't want to burden you anymore then I already
have. I can cover it." I told her. "Tell that to the hospital
bill." Kain muttered. "You be quiet." I snapped my attention back
to Kain, my tone firm. Like a mother scolding her child after he
did something naughty.
"No, I'll help! There's no way you can do this on your own. I mean,
this is what friends are for!" Ellis smiled at them, ignoring their
mutters to each other. God, boys could be so stubborn and
argumentative sometimes. Even the sweet ones, like Alain and Kain.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
I raised an eyebrow at that statement. "I've lived in the
town my whole life, and I've never gotten really close to anyone in
this town. Besides my brother Kain of course." I spoke. "Now it's a
threesome." Kain grinned. "Fearsome threesome." I couldn't help but
add. "Wait a minute." Kain looked at Alain. "Kain and Alain rhyme."
he added. "We've been living a lie." I replied.
