Nathana held Hecate's hand firmly and placed a ginger kiss on her knuckles as she lead her girlfriend towards the goddess. Her eyes were glued to Stella's once they came into view, even though she knew it would have been respectful to keep them on the ground.
Khaalida blushed slightly upon seeing Faolan's unbuttoned shirt, or rather the skin revealed by it. "I think you might have missed a button or two..." She said with a giggle as she reached over to help him button it.
"You," Azazeal said with such conviction, he was believable. Until he cracked a smile and tugged her closer. "I'm not sure. Maybe we will find out."
Stella smiled at the two woman. Hecate met her eye, a challenging gesture before bowing her head and curtsying slightly, hand still in Nathana's. Stella bowed her head to the two of them, glad Hecate didn't bow down before challenging. It'd save her neck more often then not. Before either woman could react, she pulled them into a hug. "Hecate and Nathana. I've waited a long time to meet the two of you together. And girls, I'm so glad to see it. Now, if only I could get everyone to stop calling me ma'am or miss. I'm Azazeal's mother or Stella. Don't you worry with all these silly titles or powers. I'm just me."
Hecate smiled, leaning into her girlfriend. "I'm so glad to be with her too. She's...everything," she whispered.
Faolan looked down at his newly buttoned shirt before kissing her. "I might have accidently on purpose missed a couple. Just one or two," he admitted, kissing her again. "I can't help it. Shirts are...restrictive. But not when I'm with you."
Melez giggled at his comment and she reached up to peck him on the cheek. "Maybe," She laid her head on his shoulder as they walked.
Feeling Hecate bow reminded Nat that she should as well, and she turned her gaze to the floor as she bowed respectfully. She smiled and chuckled softly as she moved her arm around Hecate's shoulder. "I'm not sure where I'd be without her," She smiled broadly. "It's a pleasure and honor to meet you miss Stella," She bowed her head once more.
Khaalida's blush deepened several shades and she did a pretty good job of not giggling like a school girl. "Well, seeing as we're going to go meet a goddess, i would hope you'd be fully clothed." After she said that she couldn't keep it in, and ended up laughing.
Azazeal chuckled, one arm around Melez even after the hug. "You're welcome. I think I can safely say we both enjoyed it and look forward to seeing you both after we get back. It'll be nearly time for hatchlings then, won't it?"
Hecate grinned, snuggled into Nathana. She relaxed, feeling safe and protected. "You'd be doing something wonderful."
Stella smiled. "I am honored to meet you, Nathana." She watched as the group gathered.
Faolan grinned, leaning in to kiss her laughing mouth. "I've been in some interesting situations but most of them have me in my wolf form or clothed. Including shoes."
Drayce offered his hand to Azazael, figuring a handshake might be a better thing to offer, but he'd be open to a hug. He felt as if they had a sort of brotherly bond, less of friendship, something a bit deeper. "We'll be looking for you both when you return from your honeymoon."
"As am I miss Stella," Nathana bowed her head once again. "And I doubt it'd be something wonderful," She chuckled. "I might be off living on my own in a cave, hunting and fishing everyday for food, we'll never know."
Khaalida managed to stop her laughing for a few moments to kiss him back, before resuming a few chuckles. "Well, the others are probably waiting for us," She said as she got ahead of him and scooted out to the living room.
Azazeal chuckled, taking Drayce's hand and tugging him into a hug. "We'll be coming back to some almost parents or parents, won't we? Things are going to change here. And I am excited to see it all unfold. No castings for me. Take care and be safe, my friend," he told the dragon, knowing he was closer to him then almost all of his brothers.
Hecate shook her head but gave Nat that. "Well, I've got you now and I'm not giving you up anytime soon, my beloved Nathana,"
Stella watched the girls, chuckling.
Faolan followed her, lost puppy instincts kicking in. He'd followed her anywhere.
Drayce patted Azazael's shoulder firmly while they hugged. "Things are definitely going to change, and I hope it's for the better." He chuckled. "It should be." He put an arm around Eona's shoulders holding her to him. "We'll be safe, just make sure you two get back here in one piece." He winked.
Nathana giggled and nodded. "I think we can say that about one another." She looked up to Stella and blushed, almost having forgotten that she was there. "Are we that ridiculous looking?" She asked in a completely joking manner.
Khaalida stopped near the mouth of the cave where the two ladies and the goddess were talking, she didn't want to intrude, so she stayed a polite distance away.
Azazeal smiled. "Always. She doesn't need my protection but she will always have it. See you later," he told the couple, leading his new wife over to his mother and the others.
Stella pulled a face, stuck up her nose and said, "Absolutely! Cuter then puppies!" Then she laughed, smiling brightly. "It is refreshing and I adore it. Don't you let anyone tell you to stop. Just keep being you. Just like these two here," she said, stepping closer to Faolan and Khaalida. "Honey, I would like to tell you how outraged and upset I am over what my husband has put you through...I keep holding he will change. They say love is blind and it is...I...he wasn't always like this. I don't know when he changed...or if it was how I saw him that changed..." Stella told Khaalida.
Hecate curled into Nat closer, watching her goddess and approving. She could rebel could bring her own death down upon her and throw off this woman. But she didn't want to. Stella was kind but firm. She was different and Hecate was drawn to that.
Faolan wrapped an arm around Khaalida's shoulders, holding her protectively, supportively.
Drayce steered Eona towards the back of the cave, heading towards the hatchery. "Mommy and daddy time sounds wonderful. Is there anything you want before we settle in?" He asked, adding a kiss to the top of her head.
Nathana giggled and nuzzled her nose into Hecate's hair. She was thoroughly pleased with the approval of the goddess, and even more pleased to be with Hecate. "I like her, she's nice," She whispered. "Though her calm appearance seems like it'd hide a pretty big storm..."
Khaalida looked up as she saw Stella step closer to them, and as she started talking about her condition, her jaw clenched tightly. It only reminded her that she'd need to feed in the next few days. "I only hope that you won't be angry with me if I," She paused a moment to relax her jaw. "Keep my doubts about him changing," What she wanted to say was she hoped Stella wouldn't be angry if she attempted to get at least some revenge for what her husband had done to her.
"Mmmm...I don't think so. I think we're all set. Maybe some ice tea to bring with us. Other then that, I think we'll be okay," Eona said, leaning into him. "Love you, Drayce."
Hecate smiled, laughing as Nat tickled her. Nodding gravely, she whispered back, "Of that, I have no doubt. She probably isn't telling me everything. Part of me is glad about it. But I would like to know some things..."
"No. I am not nor will I be angry with you for that. I know Azazeal and he have no love lost. He's tried to talk me over so many times. I just...can't. I hope you are angry at me for what has been done. I tried to stop it. I'm sorry I couldn't," Stella said.
Faolan watched the goddess, holding onto Khaalida. If anything happened, he planned to jump to her rescue. But things seemed like they were under control.
"I love you too Eona, my mate, my wife," Drayce whispered as he paused in the kitchen to get some iced tea before entering into the hatchery that was deeper in the cave. (Zooming out for now.)
"Some things yes, but other things might be better left unknown." Nathana smiled and simply stayed beside Hecate.
"Why would i be angry at you? You didn't do this to me, you tried to stop it, you did your best." Khaalida looked terribly confused, and almost angry that Stella would think that of her. "There's only so much room for hate and anger in someone, and all of my hate and anger is used up." She hoped her reasoning would keep Stella from pressing and continuing to insist she be mad with the goddess.
(sounds good)
"Life is too short to know everything. Besides, it takes out the excitement," Hecate shrugged, loosing herself in Nathana's voice.
Stella smiled, spreading her arms open and taking a step forward. "I am glad you aren't angry at me. You are all too right. It's too hard, too draining to live that way. I'm glad you have happiness with this young man. It makes me happy to see so much love ad happiness here among you all. Are you all ready? I left some treats for us back at the house. In case anyone wanted any."
Faolan looked to Khaalida. He felt Stella wouldn't attack them but he was worried about her word and how they'd affect Khaalida.
"Exactly." Nathana chuckled and closed her eyes, completely absorbed Hecate's hair, even going so far as to gently run her fingers through it.
Khaalida hesitated, not exactly sure if she was comfortable hugging her, she was pretty much a stranger after all. Besides, is that what Stella wants? She did step forwards with her arms open, but, I'm not sure... "I think we're all ready," She glanced around to spot the two girls embraced, but nearby, and one pair of the newly weds, nearby and with bags. She hoped that Stella would move on from the hug or make it more plain what she wanted.
Hecate giggled, her side lightly before kissing her. "Love you," she murmured.
Stella smiled, holding her arms out to the group. "If we're ready, take my hands and we'll make a circle. I'll take us there."
Faolan took Khaalida's hand, happy to comply.
Nathana thankfully heard Stella's instruction and noticed the movement from the others. "Love you too," She whispered as she held Hecate's hand, and offered her other hand to Faolan. Letting Hecate take Stella's other hand.
Khaalida smiled softly and gently squeezed Faolan's hand in hers. It looked like Azazael's hand was the only one left for her to take.
Hecate smiled, holding the woman's hands, happy.
Faolan took Nat's hand and Khaalida's, relaxed.
"Azazeal, Melez, would you both shadow us out of here? And to the house?" Stella asked, turning a smile on them. She didn't see what was to come. She couldn't know she was leading them into a trap of sorts. Not by her. But by one of her sons and her husband.
Nathana gave a gentle squeeze to Hecate's hand as she awaited the dark ride.
Khaalida held tightly to Faolan's hand, she didn't really care for shadowing, it was rather dark and even in the short time it takes it frightens her. Though she'd never admit it.
Stella smiled as Zorn greeted them. Another brother was there as well. Azazeal was curious as to why this brother was there but wasn't worried.
Hecate smiled, squeezing Nat's hand.
Faolan held Khaalida's hand, being a steady, warm beacon of protection should she need him. He didn't know what was making her on edge but he could smell it in her sent. He wouldn't press her though. He figured it might be because they were going to Death's wife's home.
Nathana followed after the newly weds, as gay as she could possibly be.
Khaalida's deep blue eyes were wide and absorbed everything around them after she opened them when they arrived. She was in the home of Death's wife. She wouldn't soon forget it.
Hecate nodded to hearing her name but to be honest, was more focused on Nathana. She tucked herself into her girlfriends arms.
Faolan wrapped an arm around Khaalida, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.
