"O-oh... Well, that's unsettling..." Ferris said. "I wonder if there are any Pokémon for me to catch here..." He checked his Pokédex, which said the following:
The Old Chateau is an abandoned mansion that is surrounded by the overgrown Eterna Forest. The spirits of those the servants and residents are said to haunt the Chateau. Some are known to appear out of nowhere and cause others to vanish, while others possess objects. Some spirits also take the forms of gaseous Pokémon like Gastly and Haunter. Some spirits are more malevolent than others, but it is considered common knowledge that entering the mansion is a bad idea.
The following objects are known to have been possessed in the past:
Statues
Masks
Rags
Jewels
Candles
Electrical appliances
Swords (swords were collected by the master of the household)

Honedge is the only Pokémon I listed that follows the pattern!)

This Honedge, which is actually a possessed sword from the master's collection, is female.
