Copper slowly woke up after a few minutes. Feeling his broken arm, he propped himself upright. He saw that the corruption got stopped up and reversed a little bit. Leaving him somewhere right in the middle of corrupted and safe.
"What happened?" Copper asked himself. Then recalled the events.

(I am lake so back from a long diner) Shade woke up in shadow's den." oww" groaned shade as she tried to prop herself up realizing that one of her paws was broken. Then she saw the note. "ho boy" shade muttered As she slowly made her way out of the den. Using her keen sense of smell, she tracked down shadow and copper." copper seems fine" shade thought as she jumped of the cliff and landed awkwardly on her bad paw" ow" shade muttered. Both Shadow and Copper looked up and saw Shade. Shadow made some kind of gesture saying" keep back." So Shade waited.

Copper saw a nearby puddle of clear water. He looked at his reflection, noting that his left eye was definitely a blood red color. "Well, at least I am partially healed." Copper said to himself. Then he looked at his non-broken Gallade arm. It was pitch black, another side affect of the corruption.
