You approach a narrow path, as you feel a pair of beady eyes watching you. You shudder and cross the unstable bridge ahead of you, trying to make it home before you mother scolds you. You make it across safely and trudge on ahead. You see street lights ahead and you pace becomes quicker then faster then you can blink a spooky, intimidating creature appears in front of you. It didn't look like it was from this world, an alien. Then, it hits you, these were the eyes watching you with such interest. It approaches you and says something, it's voice raspy and dull.

"Come with me Sealer, come to our world. Save it from the darkness that has slain many, and made creatures like us perish at the hands of the unknown. I won't take no for an answer."

You notice you're shivering, then kindly decline the offer. Then the creature opens its mouth as it was about to eat you in one enormous gulp. You take a step back and it speaks;

"Very well Sealer, I didn't want to do this. But it should be an honor, the Ancient of Memories, Animus will steal your precious memories of this world and take you with me by force. Once you complete your task I will give you back your memories and return you to this world, be warned there are many challenges ahead. Many sealers out there, farewell we will meet again. The fates decree this!"

The creature called Animus stepped closer, his mouth glowing a purple hue and you slip from your consciousness and black out.

Khaalida groans as she opens her eyes and sits up slowly. Where the heck am I? What is this place? Who am I? She finds an oddly familiar looking staff laying next to her so she reaches over and grabs the padded shaft which fits snugly in her grasp. Using that as a counter balance, she gets to her wobbly feet. This place... Doesn't feel right... She momentarily lost her sense of gravity and stumbled backwards and tripped over a root. "Whoa!" She yelped involuntarily as she fell, dropping her weapon. "Great..." She muttered as she picked herself back up and wiped the mud from her hands and brushed a few stray strands of her black hair behind her ear. "Well, at least I have something to defend myself with..." She sighs as she grabs her weapon once more and holds it with both hands as she hears a small branch snap.

Zmaj wove his way through the trees, his camouflaged scales blending in perfectly with the dappled rays of sunlight percolating through the canopy. He lifted his head and stuck out a forked tongue, telling him there's something not too far away. He crawled through the underbrush and stopped before a small clearing where he heard a voice. What is that? He poked his head over one of the bushes in front of him and saw a creature. A human. What... Is that? He cocked his head and almost laughed as it fell over comically. He watched it stand up and talk to itself. Now that is somewhat cute... He moved his tail causing a branch to snap and the creature to tense and take a better hold on its pointy stick. Now this is curious... And... Rather pretty... His slitted eyes caught the glimmer of the blade and the shimmer of its long black mane. I like it...

Paws finished cleaning out a pumpkin for making Pumpkin soup. Once she put it into a pot and let it roast, she got out her ingredients. I'll got to town, as soon as I'm done she thought as she finish with the ingredients she put it into a pot and mashed up

Kayoko opened her eyes and sat up slowly, "What the.." she said quietly and scanned her surroundings briefly. "Where am I?" she asked herself then turned her head and noticed a sword sitting next to her "Cool." she said and picked it up "I just need to get used to it and I'll be golden." she said proudly "Though.. I feel like I don't belong here.." she tried to remember why, nothing came for reassurance. "Oh well.. I'll figure that out later, but, I have a feeling I.. I'm here for something.." she added quickly. She noticed a creature nearby, a dragon!? No.. it looked similar "This place is weird.. oh well.. thank god I have something to defend myself with. I have a feeling living here is going to be tricky. Well, if push comes to shove forest skills are second nature to me. Oh.. nice." she said noticing a stream nearby "That's good, is it drinkable?" she dipped her her pointer finger in the water "Yup. Cold." she said pulling it out quickly, her finger numb "That's really good, I woke up near a water source. Now.. I need firewood.." she muttered to herself "I'll need to remember this is where I woke up. Or I can camp near the stream." she added and walked off, her adventure just beginning.

Paws woke up, her heads hurts "I'd thought I was making soup" realizing she not at home, at "least my favorite book is with me" She reached for it, "huh what is this?" She looked curiosity under her book realizing there was a bow and arrows. "My dad taught how to use an bow, when I was little". She groan as her head hurt even more.

SouthernSun galloped freely in the plains, where she had grown up in, she hadn't realized how big it was, when she turned to a free Mare, her mother died shortly after. Now she been looking for a new adventure. Running towards the mountains, that separated a big town and her home.

After a few minutes of exploring, she sat down near the stream and bent down and scooped up some water and held it up to her mouth and began to drink. Kayoko then averted her gaze from the water and noticed a wolf watching her, no.. it didn't look like a normal wolf. "What are you?" she asked it. The Dire wolf curled it's lip and grew it back into a low growl. Kayoko inched back a bit, fear welling up in her throat "Okay.. I guess you don't want to tell me.." she said quietly, a hint of fear in her tone. The Dire wolf stopped snarling and crossed the stream and sniffed Kayoko for a brief moment then walked away. Kayoko stood still, letting the creature smell her, and was surprised when it didn't attack her. "Thanks.. for not.. y'know attacking me." she said, the Dire wolf three feet away from her. The Dire wolf knelt down on the ground, it's tail tucked in between it's legs, indicating it meant no harm. "Hmm?" Kayoko looked at the Dire wolf "You're a cute little guy aren't you?" she told it.

The Dire wolf got back up and tilted his head to the right slightly, puzzled by the human's words. Then padded up to her and nuzzled her. Kayoko blinked then asked it "You like me? Well, that's nice. I've always wanted a dog, but my parents never let me get one. What should I name you?" she pondered about it for a moment then announced "How about Dakota? Do you like that?" she asked it. The Dire wolf wagged his tail from side to side. "You wanna help me build my camp?" she asked it "We can gather some food later too. Because I'm working up an appetite." she added smiling. The Dire wolf licked Kayoko's face, as she bursted into laughter and ruffled the fur on the sides of his face playfully. The friendship between to two becoming stronger.

SouthernSun trotted up a slope, until it went flat again, she came upon a lake and a fresh grass spot,she bent her knees to have a drink, she smelled a animal, to far for her to know, but she didn't like the smell of the animal and kept her guard up

Khaalida spun around as she spotted the thing that made the noise. A dragon!? The heck!? She wanted to take a step back as the thing emerged from the foliage and started walking towards her. She managed to move her arms a little bit and position her bladed staff in front of her in the dragons way. The dragon grabbed the staff and pulled it from her grip and set it out of her reach. She let out a nervous whimper as she started to back up as its head grew ever closer. She almost screamed as she tripped over the same root as before making her fall to her rump and look up into the long snout of the dragon. She shut her eyes in anticipation of being eaten, but opened them slowly upon the sensation of his hot breath as he sniffed her. She tilted her head at him as it seemed as he was almost smiling. She reached out with one tentative, shaking hand towards his muzzle. She let her hand rest there in mid air at full extension mere inches from his face. Her eyes widened in shock as the dragon gently nudged her hand with his head. His golden eyes glowing in the partial light. "H-hello..." She stammered in awe of the gentle giant before her.

Zmaj stepped out of his hiding spot once he was spotted. He reached up with a clawed wing and pulled the pointy stick out of the humans hand and away onto the ground. This thing... It looks and smells female... It's so... Pretty... He kept moving closer and he smiled, pulling the corners of his wide mouth back as she fell over a root, the same root that she had fallen on earlier. He stopped and leaned in closer to sniff her as she seemed to cower as though he was going to consume her. It... She, fears me... His smile widened further as she reached out her fleshy pink limb towards him. He blinked his large metallic eyes once before placing his nose on her hand. Hello human...

Kayoko and Dakota spent some time gathering wood, and after a while she came to realize the Dire wolf was a skilled hunter. It brought back a Jackalope, which was hanging from his jaws. She appreciated Dakota's hunting ability and decided to start a fire with the wood she found and cook the game the Dire wolf successfully won. She set up the base for the fire then rubbed two sticks violently against one another until a spark, then a blaze spawned out of no where. She then watched the fire and began to cook the Jackalope, smoke appearing in the air. After a while's worth of waiting she and Dakota split the game in half, the Dire wolf getting his share and Kayoko getting hers. She took a bite, and it wasn't as bad as she thought it would taste. She ate it all, savoring each bite. Dakota on the other hand, didn't, he ate it like a.. wolf. Which isn't an awful surprise.

Dakota brought Kayoko a Jackalope, which he killed just for her. He realized the human admired his skill, he liked that. He was happy to share it with the human, he waited patiently until Kayoko was satisfied with cooking his kill. Once the human let him have his share he ate it in ravenous bites, then noticed it tasted better then when it killed it and ate it normally. He didn't know what she did to it that made it taste better then it already did, but he liked it a lot. Maybe if I stick around and hunt for her, maybe she'll make more. Or better yet, what if I stick with her and I'll get all the Jackalope I can eat.. yes.. it's settled. She's my partner. Dakota thought his tail wagging. "You liked it?" The human asked him, he agreed completely. He loved Kayoko's cooking. "That's good." Kayoko said with a smile, Dakota barked to emphasize what she had said.

Animus watched Khaalida from a far distance, away from Zmaj. It was amused the Rune Drake was taking an interest in the human, then decided to leave before the Rune Drake noticed it's presence. It took one last, beady, intimidating look at the human he picked out and left her, heading towards Kayoko. It noticed the other creatures staying a decent distance away from it, it respected that. It was an ancient after all, and the other creatures new what an ancient could do. It kept a steady pace, making it's way towards Kayoko. It stopped after while, freezing in place it was camouflaged in between the trees, the only way you could've spotted it was the glowing places around it's body, one near the growth that looked like it used to be wings, the other one next to it's rib cage which showed like it hasn't eaten in months. Another one at the start and end of his tail. And the third to last was coming out of his mouth, and the last two were visible just by looking into it's beady eyes.

SouthernSun ate the fresh grown grass, before trotting throughly the forest, pausing to see a light up ahead she couldn't any curious than before, she curiosity had brought her herd good luck before, as she silently creeped forward. Realizing the smell that she smelled before came from the dire wolf, she also realized that there was a human to.

Paws got up from where, she had fallen, she's also realized that she was next to a path,I wander where this will lead me she thought as she started to walk west towards the mountains, She'd looked around for any sign of life, she was a gentle butterfly fly around near some bushes.

Khaalida laid there staring at the Rune Drake waiting for it to make a move. Her heart nearly leapt out of her chest when it picked her up and set her on her feet with its clawed wing. "Th-thank you..." She said as it backed up a bit before sitting down on its haunches in front of her. It could just be toying with me before it eats me... But... It seems to be studying me... If it is going to eat me I won't be able to defend myself against it well... So I doubt I have much of a choice in this situation... "I-I'm going to go and start working on a sh-shelter for the night okay?" She asked before slowly moving towards her weapon, definitely treading lightly as the Drake made no movements, except those of its head and neck to watch her. She reached down and picked up the staff, turning to the Drake. "M-my name's Khaalida, Khaalida Andeo..." She bowed before the large beast and promptly headed off into the bushes to find a good locale for her shelter and some materials to build it.

Zmaj watched the human girl through his golden yellow eyes as she simply laid there. Is she not going to get up? Am I frightening her that much? He picked her up gently with his talon tipped wing setting her on her feet. He backed up a few steps and sat down. There. Now stop being so timid... Though it is rather becoming... He watches her walk over to her stick and pick it up. Khaalida? Hmm... Interesting title... His tail sweeps slowly across the ground behind him as he stands up and starts following her into the foliage.

Kayoko began to use some of the wood to make a shelter to shield her from the elements. After a few minutes she decided to take a little break, she got some water before deciding to practice using her sword. She'd never been good with a sword, and it won't do much use with hunting. So she made up her mind and try to craft a bow. But that would have to be later on, she needed to hone her sword skills. Just in case she needed to defend herself against anything abnormal. She then felt a pair of beady eyes watching her, it felt so familiar. She tried to grasp at a memory that wasn't there, she gave up. But Dakota was shaken, she didn't know why he'd be so high wired. As far as she knew, he's the most dangerous thing in the forest she's found so far. Unless there was something else.. she put that thought aside. And began to swing her sword around a bit before testing it. It was light, which was fine by her. She noticed Dakota was staying clear from the sword and from the trees over nearby. Weird.. she thought to herself and began to practice her swordplay.

Dakota watched Kayoko build her hut, then kept his eye on her while she was drinking. Then he felt the presence of an Ancient watching him, no, it was looking at the human. He kept a distance away from it, but kept his guard up in case of an attack. The human noticed his uneasiness and started to get worried too, he tried his best to look okay. But I guess it didn't flatter her, so he went back to keeping watch. He growled a bit and curled his tail around his paws and laid down on the soft earth before averting his gaze from the trees and watched Kayoko practice her swordplay.

Animus watched Kayoko, the Dire wolf noticed it's presence. Which was no surprise, it didn't pay much attention to the wolf. It mainly focused on Kayoko, and the wolf knew that well. It was still amused creatures were taking particular interests in the humans. It wiped the smug grin of it's face and decided to leave and go back to roaming around the forest. It decided to check on the humans later on, for now it will go back to roaming Eldemore, staying clear from towns nearby. It bid it's farewell to the young heroes silently and left. Making a silent prayer for their safety.

Silar opens his eyes as he sits up stretching as though waking from a nap. hmm wait.. where is this? After looking around the forest-like area he notices a katana nearby. well in an unfamiliar place i will take any means for protection. Picking up the katana, Silar stands up looking around carefully. Several minutes later catches a glimpse of something shiny in the distance. oh i wonder what that is? well finding out is better than sitting here. After fastening the katana to his back Silar heads towards the shiny object while observing his surroundings in case of any danger. After a few minutes Silar comes to a small clearing with a lake I see the shiny thing i saw earlier must have been light reflecting off the lake.. I think i should try and get some food then maybe make a shelter here. Making a few makeshift spears out of straight sticks, while also admiring the clear crystal-like blade of his katana, Silar prepares to go hunting, stopping suddenly Silar quickly looked out at the lake as he thought he felt a presence nearby was it my imagination ignoring the feeling he turns around and goes into the forest to hunt.

After making her way to the lake, the sea serval quite naturally dove in swimming around and catching fish with her tail, when she suddenly felt that someone was near the surface of the lake I wonder what that is swimming slowly closer from underwater she approaches the surface of the lake. When she is close enough to see out she is somewhat surprisedi-is that.. a human? this seems interesting she continued watching from under the water's surface, watching him look around and then take some sticks and sharpen then to a point. This caught the attention of her as strange but what held her attention more was that beautiful clear crystal-like blade such a beautiful blade.... but i wonder what he will do with those sticks? noticing he suddenly stops and starts looking out towards the lake she starts smiling could this human have noticed my presence.. how interesting.. she mused to herself seeming to make up her mind about something. As he turned and left into the forest she sneaks out of the water not making a sound and then setting the fish on the ground, she moves forward in the same direction as the human. The strange thing was that as she moved forward she seemed to slowly disappear into the shadow beneath her feet until all that was left was a moving shadow i wonder if he will notice he's being followed she grinned as she followed the human through the shadows.

Kayoko stopped swinging her sword around and froze, she stood still listening to the sounds of nature. She picked up the sound of shoes and crunching of leave, she noticed Dakota's fur standing on end and he was growling. She hoped nothing abnormal came to eat her for lunch, because after what she'd seen she didn't know what to believe in anymore. She stayed still until she knew for sure she was safe. After a while she continued to build her hut, she whipped some sweat off her face and continued. She took breaks and sipped from the stream, then continued to work. She noticed Dakota keeping guard, what a good dog.

Dakota watched Kayoko practice her sword play, then smelled Silar and another creature no too far away from his master's camp. His fur stood on end and he curled his lip and grew it back into a growl, he stood up right away. One of his tails flicking and his ears turning like radars to pick up their whereabouts. He did this until he was sure they were gone then decided to help Kayoko build as well. He got some water from the river once in a while and caught game when Kayoko was building, he noticed she was pleased with his work and didn't get upset when he ate a Jackalope he caught. He liked her already.

After about an hour and a half of hunting, Silar satisfied with what he has heads back to make food and shelter. hmmm.. although i feel i have been followed since i entered this forest since whatever it is doesn't seem hostile it should be ok. Taking a slight detour to return as to avoid that earlier seemingly violent presence, moving cautiously always keeping one hand on his blade just in case that other presence decides to become violent. "when did these fish get here?" Silar asked himself upon returning and seeing the small pile of fish. "well more stuff i can prepare" Silar not hesitating set down the four jackalope's he hunted as well as the various plants that he somehow recognized that could be used as seasoning and for medicinal purposes, after that he gathered some debris and wood and made a fire. Grabbing the fish and jackalope's Silar used his sword to cut and skin them preparing them to be cooked, wish i didn't have to use my blade for this.. a pocket knife would be good right now. Making short work of the preparations he decided to start cooking using the plants to add flavor, while the food was cooking he went to look for some thin vines thinking to use them along with the pelts of the jackalope's to fashion a makeshift bag. Upon returning with what he needed he sat down looking at the food he smiled right on time its just about done suddenly Silar jumped up and turned around drawing and readying his blade looking right at a strange cat-looking creature with small wings and black fur with red line design's "what or who are you?"

The sea serval was constantly watching this human while he was hunting, also ignoring the vicious presence from earlier. earlier that presence was quite alert probably noticed us and went on guard but i wonder what that second presence was? While following and watching the human she was hardly ever in the same spot for long sometimes on the ground other times high up in the trees but whenever she moved it was always through the shadows. Soon she noticed the human was recently keeping one hand on his blade at all times [has he noticed he's being followed?[/i] she curled her lips into a seemingly pleased smile I'm liking this human more and more. She watched him through everything with looks of both curiosity and excitement, especially for the way he prepared food, after watching it all she decided to finally show herself. Creeping up from the shadow and taking two quiet steps she stopped staring in amazement at the human that suddenly stood up with his blade staring right at her saying something. He seems even sharper than i thought i was just about to make noise to alert him of me but to think he felt me right as i left the shadows.. i really like this human. Stepping forward a few steps She got about five meters from the human then stopped and sat on her hind legs and gave off a sideways friendly look and grin with this he should understand i mean no harm.

Dakota growled louder, watching Silar steal his prey then followed him. Noticing a Serval nearby, ignoring it he pounced on Silar and snapped his fangs reaching for his neck to go for the kill, nearly missing by an inch he jumped off hearing his master cry out for him. He curled his lips and snarled loudly at Silar, tempted to kill him on the spot without hesitation. His master came, demanding an explanation. He winced and crouched down meaning no harm, he stole his prey after all.

Kayoko heard growling and all sorts of noises and noticed Dakota was gone, she grabbed her sword and followed the violent noises. When she got there she noticed three things, a cat with a mermaid tail, a boy with dead animals at his feet and Dakota growling fiercely at the boy around her age. Kayoko sighed and noticed her pet feeling sorry, she squatted down and rubbed his head reassuringly, her Dire wolf getting up to his feet. Judging by Dakota's actions she hypothesized that the boy took Dakota's kill nearby the hut and attacked him. "What are you doing here?" she demanded, her tone raising defensively "Did you take that from Dakota?" she asked the boy again before glaring at Dakota and tossing him a Jackalope "Good boy, just don't try and kill him next time." she told Dakota with a smile. Then gave the boy her hostile gaze.

Silar that was carefully watching that cat-like creature seeing its friendly way of acting, let his guard relax alot resheathing his blade. this creature seems friendly enough thinking for a moment he looked at the creature "uhm since you seem friendly.. do you want to be friends? If so can i call you Nyx?" Watching for a reaction the creature seemed to smile then nodded twice answering the two questions. "Good I am Silar".. such an intelligent creature.. she will make a good friend. Noticing her sudden shift from friendly to vicious and looking at the forest, Silar was almost too late to act as a large wolfish creature sprang right at him aiming for a kill shot, there was just enough time to narrowly avoid getting bitten. While dodging Silar was too startled to think about drawing his blade but did notice a round shadow like object shoot past the wolfish creature, as a voice also called out Dakota. After a moment of recovering from the situation, upon hearing the girl question him, Silar seemed to have a rough idea of how things came to be. "i was out hunting after waking up here, so it is possible that i took his prey, if so i apologize and am more than willing to share there is enough after all." Lookng at the girl around his age and her wolf he couldn't help but feel as though this situation wasn't just by chance. "I'm Silar and this is Nyx, who might you be?"

Hearing the human's questions she pondered only for a moment before answering being friends with this human will be pretty fun and calling me Nyx it sounds like a good title. Noticing a vicious presence Nyx quickly shifted into battle mode, glaring into the forest hissing, not entirely sure of what was to come. In just the blink of an eye a wolfish creature was in her view preparing to lunge at her friend, she quickly prepared a shadowball and fired it at the intruder , but he was faster than her attack and she missed as the attack flew past behind the wolfish creature oh he's much faster than i first thought.. will i be unable to help my new friend? Panicking a bit she turned to see the short exchange between Silar and the wolfish creature, not wanting to accidentally hit Silar she refrained from firing another shadowball, watching and waiting she noticed the girl call to Dakota and everything quieted down. oh good thing that's over.. that was rather surprising. Seeing that Silar was alright just a bit shaken up Nyx quickly moved to stand beside him, glaring at the beast called Dakota, while listening to the exchange between the girl and Silar, Nyx also naturally came to understand what happened. For such a simple reason this beast tried to kill my friend, if not for underestimating his speed at first i would have blown him away...hmph. Being that Nyx was proud and kind of arrogant she looked down on Dakota just a bit, for not using his head first.

Kayoko tensed, like he said something wrong. He woke up!? Just like me.. then.. there's more.. she thought, looking a little shaken then told Silar "I'm Kayoko. And this is Dakota, you see I woke up not too far around here as well. And, if the same thing happened to you then there's others." she told him. "And, yeah I was finishing the touches for my shelter and noticed Dakota was gone. So.. I'm glad I found you so soon. He would've killed you. And who's this beautiful creature?" she asked referring to Nyx. "I've never seen anything like it before. I've seen the occasional dragon not too far away from here. But.. not this." she added. "Anyways, we've been here for a while.. and, I'm not sure what to believe anymore, heck I wouldn't be surprised if a dog as small as an apple would come floating down and kiss me on the nose." she sighed.

Dakota noticed Silar said something wrong and growled, then he got a look from Kayoko to tell him to stop. He felt pleased that Kayoko called his name and listened to their conversation. His two tails wagged and he walked up to Silar and sniffed him and after a long while he pounced on him and gave him a kiss on the nose then bounded off to sniff Nyx.

Hearing Kayoko introduce herself and mention the possibility of other's only now did Silar really start thinking other's.. if that is true then the question is why. Listening to Kayoko talk about dragon's and mentioning a small dog he couldn't help but sigh and laugh to himself and then answered her question about Nyx. "to be honest i only just recently met her but i am guessing that she has been following me for awhile now..as i don't know exactly what she is i just call her Nyx." Surprised at the sudden friendliness of Dakota jumping on him and licking his nose, he turned to watch as Dakota then moved to head towards Nyx, getting another surprise as Nyx faded into the shadow beneath her and moved away from Dakota reappearing next to Silar. this Nyx appears to be full of surprises

Nyx watching and listening to the conversation between Silar and Kayoko hissed in disdain towards Dakota when he started growling quickly stopping at a glance from Silar. i don't know about this beast Dakota though i guess he is just being loyal.. i would prefer he not be so hostile. As she was watching she her only reaction when Dakota started being rather friendly all of a sudden was to fade into the shadows and move to the other side of Silar. Laying down and curling up next to Silar she looked carefully at Dakota as if appraising an unknown item.

"I see.." Kayoko mused then a grin escaped itself and spread across her face "I guess that means I won't only have to watch out for dragons." she teased, referring to Silar. "You can drop by if you want. Dakota seems to like you, so it's fine by me. Just don't steal anything if there's a next time, bring Nyx if you want. I'll see you around, fine hunting to you both." she took half of the game that was left on the ground and walked off back to her shelter with Dakota following. "What a strange guy." she said to herself and laughed a little bit. She set the prey down and decided to cook it.

Dakota continued to listen to the conversation after Nyx materialized next to Silar. Then noticed she was getting ready to go as she scooped up some of the game that was on the ground. When they both left he noticed his master was happy when she was near the boy. They are the same species I suppose. he thought, then his tails wagged rapidly when they got back to the hut and noticed his master about to cook a meal for the twosome.
