i am saying that we need to have some kinda clue of what we are suppose to do just like how in the video game you know what type a gym is before you battle the3m which is a hint to get a pokemon that is supereffective against them so we should have hints on this game as well

this would make it too easy to get the badges, they are supposed to be a sign of accomplishment, hints would diminish the accomplishment you get when you finally get them, dont get me wrong there are a lot of badges i have no idea how to get, for example, "evil magicarp", but if someone were to lead me to the answer i would lose the good feeling from figuring out the puzzle myself.

it would also be unfair to those who did figure out the badges for themselves, because then someone would have spent considerably less effort than they did to get the same reward.

No Support, + Keife191 has quoted my reasons. Also, it would be more fun figuring it out without a hint and the more challenge the better... to me at least.

To add onto what the others have said - it is against the rules to spoil badges.

I've gotten all my badges with no help, so try and figure it out.

The name is often such a big hint in itself you will facepalm after you get the badge.

If you can read this, you know how to read.

No support - it would take all the fun and pride out of earning them if they just said "Go to the lab and get a random shiny from there" or something like that- I like them as they are right now because they do give up some hints- few are super easy to obtain and few are a little bit more challenging + the prices are not that bad either so the badges should be harder to obtain - if the hints were introduced those prizes would be way too easy to earn.

Wellll it's no longer against the rules to ask for help with badges so long as the answer isn't spoiled to users that don't want the answer. Therefore this has basically been implemented (which is where I'm moving this).
