Aqua had left the infirmary and silently followed Kaleidoscope through the halls, hardly making a sound like a feline despite her boots since she was still in human form.
once she caught up to her furry pal and scooped her up carefully with ease, humming softly as she smiled.

Kaleidoscope squeaked in surprise, her whiskers twitching in amusement when she realized it was just Aqua. "Taking advantage of your human form, I see," she mused. "And where are you planning to go?"

"Oh, tea sounds good," Kaleidoscope cooed, perfectly fine with being carried as long as it meant tea. Spectrum had needed some time alone, anyway (and it was something to keep her from worrying about her companion).

Aqua hummed softly and contently continued walking to the mess hall.

at one of the tables sat Magnolia and Dark, Magnolia sipping on a cup of coffee while Dark, who was starving and needed food, mowed on a meal large enough for at least two people.
''your lucky we don't have to buy our meals....'' she sighed.
Dark shrugged and just ate, his tail wagging rapidly now.
there were a few rebels that were muttering to one another while they looked at Dark, most of them consisting of female companions with human forms and a few Male companions with human forms, the girls gossiping to each other about how Dark looked and how mysterious he was while the guy's complained on how Dark gained most of the girls attention.
''it seem's you have admirers and haters'' she said with a hum, glancing around a bit.
he looked at her a bit and started looking around after swallowing a bite of his food, then whimpered and looked at Magnolia as his ear's pinned back.
''Maggie i don't like this sudden attention...'' he muttered, which caused her to laugh a little bit.

Kaleidoscope swished her tail as she skimmed the mess hall, quite comfortable in all of its chatter and ruckus. She picked up on the gossip of a few tables and realized that their attention was elsewhere and curiously searched for the center of attention, her eyes laying on Magnolia and a strange male. "Hey, did Magnolia meet a--" realization struck her face and she chirped in surprise, double-checking for similar features and recognizing Dark in the human. He was visibly uncomfortable and her heart broke a little at Dark's rare moment of vulnerability.

Aqua watched what was going on and sighed, going off to go get something as her tail twitched with irritation.
''move to Magnolia's table, i'll be right back....'' she told her friend telepathically, the tone obviously annoyed at this point.

Dark seemed to shrink in his seat and sat down the sandwich he was currently eating and crossed his arm's, obviously not feeling like eating now.
Magnolia sighed lifted her hand up, reaching up and over the table to rub his head.
''your alright Dark....'' she assured, trying to see if he'd focus on her now.

Kaleidoscope nodded, her plans already ahead. She slipped under a table and when she came back out she was in her human form, wearing a baggy t-shirt and dark red sweatpants. She sat down next to Dark, paying no attention to the eyes that were on her. She rarely was in her human form, but she had been seen in it on a few occasions. "You look good," Kaleidoscope told Dark reassuringly, her eyes shimmering under the lights. Although I suppose that's the problem. She offered a bright smile, her tail curling into her lap. "Ignore them, yeah?" She looked over her shoulder and locked eyes with a stranger that was staring at him, waving happily so that the stranger quickly dipped their head and broke attention. Nosy scoundrels, she thought grimly, grinding her sharp teeth together before turning back to Dark with an optimistic expression.

Dark's ear's perked up and he looked beside him, his face flushing a faint red as he seen Kaleidoscope sitting down beside him.
''h-hey Kali, um.... i-it's...... kinda hard to ignore them when you know they're looking at you......'' he muttered, rubbing the back of his neck.
Magnolia decided to take a long sip of her coffee to hide the fact she was grinning.

"Yeah, I know. Just don't let it get under your skin, then." She smiled at him and leaned on the table a bit, skimming the crowd for Aqua. Instead, she saw Wither and a tall, tired-faced demon that she knew was Void walking towards them. Wither's arms were crossed and her amber eyes were narrowed disappointedly, forcing all eyes away from their table. She angrily muttered under her breath as she sat next to Magnolia, Void silently watching and taking a seat across from her.

Dark sighed and let his ear's droop slightly before he went back to eating, not wanting to go to waste since he was the one who wanted all the food he had in front of him.
''i-it'll take time to fully get used to this form... i have lived my entire life without this kind of ability and all of a sudden, this happened.... it was so painful and i was so scared, i didn't know what to do aside from asking Maggie for help.......'' he muttered.
he looked at one of his hands and remained silent for a little while as he ate, now seeming to zone out as he ate.

Tony yawned as he slowly started to wake back up, his headache for the most part gone besides a small throb that was in the back of his head.
that was a whole different side of me..... i never snap like that, maybe the stress is finally getting to me...... he thought, rather disappointed in himself over his outburst in the mess hall.
he sat up and rubbed the back of his neck, feeling a lot better then how he had been before.

Castiel slipped through the mess hall crowds, his hand shaking as he ran it lightly across the bandage on his cheek. His heart was racing and he was lightheaded with worry as he made a mental check of his situation and readjusted his hood, trying to block out the noise of the groups around him that meshed into a wave of uncomfortable sound.
Normally he would wait until the crowds had cleared to go out and about, but even his familiar agreed that it was too nerve-wracking to sit in his quarters and just wait. "H-hey, Nanaki," he mumbled as he approached the counter, making sure that nobody was waiting in line. "I, um... I heard that the angel that's in charge of this place is in the infirmary from Trauma." He cocked his head, trying to be calm. "Is that true?"

Wither leaned back and glanced around at the stands around them, breaking the attention of some of the more curious angels and demons as she did. "I'm going to pick up some drinks," she said, mostly to Kaleidoscope. Kaleidoscope smiled and thanked her softly.
"Do you two want anything?" She asked, brushing lightly against Magnolia as she stood up.

Nanaki looked at Castiel and blinked, soon going around before pulling him aside so other's entering in the mess hall could order food.
''hey Castiel, and yeah it is actually, i'm glad you weren't here at the time cause he suddenly had an outburst of anger at Wither....! i've always heard he was so calm and kind, it was actually a little scary...'' he whimpered, hugging his hands to his chest.

Magnolia looked down at her coffee cup and a faint blush took over her cheeks, biting her lip slightly when Wither brushed up against her.
i can't tell if your purposely brushing up against me or not.... your literally playing with my heart right now..... she thought to herself, slightly fidgeting with her cup of coffee.
just as Wither stood up Aqua came back while going off course a bit occasionally to scold a few other demons and angels before finally getting to the table.
she sat Kaleidoscope's cup of tea down in front of her, a faint trail of steam rising from the liquid meaning it was just made, before going and sitting down by Magnolia.
''it's to early for me for this crap.... i haven't even had my catnip tea yet....'' she growled, ears laid flat against her skull and tail flicking furiously, soon taking a sip of her own cup of tea.

"H-he did?..." He dug his fingers into his upper arm and let himself be moved by Nanaki, casting his gaze away from the ground and into his friend's eyes. Castiel stopped himself from searching for a lie (he was terrible at reading people and he was ashamed for not trusting Nanaki), hanging his head and pursing his lips. "And... you were there, huh? That sounds terrifying." He spoke slowly, pausing before adding, "I heard he was really calm, too. A natural leader or something like that."
"Hey, Cas," Wither called as she walked up, fluffing up Castiel's hair. Reckless as she was, she would never try to sneak up on him. "Oh, hey, Nanaki," she sang when she realized he was there, her eyes shimmering. She turned back to Castiel, looking at his face and frowning as she lightly ran a finger across the bandage on his cheek.
"You prolly heard about Tony, yeah? Don't stress about it--he's been having a rough time. I promise it's not like him and he'll be fine with some sleep. Everything is safe over here, alright?" Wither told him softly, her golden eyes narrowed with focus. She raised her voice slightly when she spoke to both of them. "Don't tell anyone this, but we'll probably be moving camps soon so that it'll be a bit safer."

Tony had left the infirmary after talking to one of the nurses and decided to go check on Spectrum, hoping she was alright.
i must've scared her...... honestly i freaked myself out... he thought, stopping at Spectrum's door before he knocked on the door.

Her eyes softened and she shook her head, smiling softly to show that she was fine. "No, of course not. I'm perfectly okay--it's not like him at all, yeah? He's just been under stress and sickness ever since the, er..." Wither's eyes flickered to Castiel and back to him, not wanting to mention the corrupt angel in front of him, "since the attack."
Castiel nodded and let out a breath. His tense shoulders had dropped a bit and Wither felt better knowing that he was reassured. He blinked several times before scanning for the table she had been at. "Who's is that? The one with the ears and the glowing tail."
"Oh, right, that's Void. We just took him in from a mission. You can meet him later--Amaryllis, too."

Spectrum leaned on the bathroom sink, staring intensely into the mirror and staring into pale yellow eyes. Features are so mesmerizing when you're not sure if they're your own. A presence was felt nearby and Spectrum nearly turned to see what was there, but knew better and refrained.
"Should I come back?... Are you sure you're alright? Kaleidoscope asked, tapping in. Spectrum ran a finger across his jawline, sensing the faint taste of chamomile tea in his mouth. "N-no. You go have fun. J-just make sure nobody finds the room," he said out loud.
"They won't. Anyone looking for you will go to the other one, anyway," Kaleidoscope responded, her voice promising. She tapped out and the taste of chamomile faded from Spectrum's mouth.

Nanaki sighed with relief then looked out at the table Wither was at, spotting Void rather easily as the ear's poking up in his hood twitching in response.
''well, he's pretty easy to spot among the crowd, that's for sure'' he said.

Tony waited for a moment and scratched the side of his head, then knocked on Spectrum's door a bit louder, hoping she heard him.
''u-um.... Spectrum...? a-are you here? i wanna talk to you for a moment'' he said.

Alexander and Konani both had gotten ready and changed and were at the airship quite quickly as they walked up the ramp.
''gotta admit, the girl outdid herself'' Konani said.
Alexander nodded in agreement and grinned a little bit.
''she sure did'' he said.

Wither chuckled breathily, dipping her head in agreement. "He's certainly got a bold personality, too," she said, adding under her breath, "although he's a bit quiet with strangers..." She held her chin subconsciously and trailed off, turning her attention to Void (and Magnolia). She snapped back to reality to smile at Nanaki and Castiel, running her hands laxly through her hair. "I've got stuff to handle. See you two later--don't get into any trouble~!" Castiel waved at her and she walked off to get a drink.
"Are you off?" He asked Nanaki, clearly in a better mood than before. There was even a small smile on his face--it was faint, but it was bright nonetheless. "Trauma's probably up by now," he added, knowing that his companion liked (if not tolerated) Nanaki and Amaryllis.

Anne somersaulted off of a balcony and onto the ramp in front of them, landing at a distance so she didn't frighten them--she couldn't help being noiseless but her intentions were never to scare her friends--holding her large weapon over her shoulder. She bounced excitedly and her smile had overtaken her face, her eyes glimmering with amazement. "Guysguysguys," she said, her words a quick stream of bubbliness, "this ship is absolutely beautiful! I took a peek into some of the rooms and they're all so cozy--oh, and the gyms! They're so extensive and there are so many more weapons," Anne gushed, taking a moment to calm down a bit but still not being able to wipe the smile off her face.

Nanaki waved when Wither left and soon turned to Castiel, smiling a little as he nodded.
''yeah, i've been working here a lil' to long..... i need to go rest for a while, my feet are killing me.... and Amaryllis usually want's me to hurry back to the room we share when she isn't with me cause she doesn't trust some of the teenagers around this time cause of how rowdy they can get... i don't know why she worries so much, most of the teens i've met have been really sweet'' he said, now pouting just slightly.

the boys watched and listened to her and laughed a bit once she finished, finding her excitement adorable.
''for a demon your pretty hyper'' Konani said, stuffing his hands into his pockets.
Alexander ruffled her hair playfully and grinned.

Castiel shrugged slightly, tugging on his sleeve and holding back a disagreement with Nanaki's stance on teenagers. "Hey, do you want to chill with Trauma and me?" He asked, knowing that Amaryllis was fine with him. Trauma was surprisingly respectable to her, probably because of her dedication to Nanaki, and he never posed a threat to either of them.

Anne blinked sharply, silenced by the statement as she began to wonder whether or not it was a compliment or an insult. She responded with a soft smile, readjusting her weapon as she walked into the ship so that it didn't scrape across the roof. "It's an exciting place," she promised, now a bit calmer.

Wither sat back down next to Magnolia, sipping her coffee. It had only cooled down slightly, just enough to not burn the roof of her mouth, and it was terribly bitter. She was happy and her senses were heightened, although she wasn't sure if it was because of the eventful hour or the demon next to her.
"You never did mention whether or not you agreed with Wither's idea," Kaleidoscope said to Aqua. She was calm and unexpectant, having a comfortable and open air like she usually did. Void was quiet but attentive, tuning in on the conversation but from a distance.
