Aria giggled softly, and looked at Nova. She didn't want to leave
the other two, but she didn't want to die either. She sighed, and
looked at Anthony. "Can I get in?" she asked, still laughing a bit.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
Sure he said putting Ace in the back and Nova. He shoved Aria in
the passenger seat and rushed to his side. He put on REM's End Of
The World As We Know It and drove off.
Aria looked at Anthony, rolling her eyes. "Wow, you sure know how
to pick a song." she said, giggling. She looked outside and saw it
start to rain. She crossed her arms, trying to remember the last
time she was in a car.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
Nova growled as she was put in the car. What right does he have
coming and just grabbing me like that?!? She sighs. I guess
he came back... And with transportation... I guess I do owe him
now... She scoffed at his choice of music.
"Oh, I was trying to remember what type it was. I knew I had seen
it before! My brother was in the army before-" She started, then
looked away, a fresh batch of tears rolling down her face. Stupid!
Pull yourself together! She thought, but the tears wouldn't stop.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
Nova reached her hand up and placed it on Aria's shoulder. "We've
all lost someone... Its nothing to be ashamed of..." She sighs.
"Pizza... I don't even remember what it tastes like... Its been so
long...
"Thanks guys. And yeah, pizza sounds great! I havent had it in so
long.." Aria says, and smiles back at Nova. She hears her stomach
growl and she laughs sadly. "I haven't had any food in a long
time." she said, remembering eating some dead rat. She shivered,
that had tasted disgusting.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
Nova reaches into her bag and hands Aria a granola bar. "I have a
couple more in my bag..." I really don't, but if I say its my
last one she won't take it...
Nova nodded and dropped the bar in her lap. "Yes. I wouldn't have
offered if I wasn't." She sits back in her seat and then sees
someone outside. "Hey, stop the car, I see someone..."
"Oh, okay. Thanks, Nova!" Aria said, and got out of the car. She
opened the package to the granola bar, and started to chew on it
slowly, not wanting to be rude. She looked around, marveling at the
size of the base, and all the stuff in it. She locked the door, and
sat on the ground.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
