Nova, already being a good distance from the base, didn't hear what Ace had said. She sneaks around a corner and into a small shop. She keeps her pistol ready and her eyes ever searching. Upon seeing the shop empty she goes behind the counter and searches through the place looking for food, weapons, and medical items. She finds some tape, a couple packets of peanuts, four granola bars and a few bottles of water. Putting all of this in her backpack she heads into the kitchen area. She shoots a couple of rats and looks around. She found several cooking knives, the knife sharpeners, a few cans of food, and a dead body. She winced as the smell hit her nose, she put the items in her bag and promptly left the building and headed back to the base. She knocked on the door. "Its Nova, let me in!"

Nova jumped as the hang glider landed. She turned around and saw something coming. "Oh god..." She turned back to the door. "Don't open the door!" She turned and ran to a building and began climbing the fire escape.

Aria had her hand on the handle, and creaked open the door. She saw the comotion and stepped outside, closing the door behind her. "What's happening?" She yelled at Nova. She followed her, climbing up the fire escape.

Nova turned and saw Aria following her. She hopped onto the roof and walked over to the edge and tried to get a better look at the creatures. "I told you not to open the door... James said there were creatures coming... Did you lock the door?" She turns to Aria her face whitening.

A loud thud shook against the rain gutter as James was thrown into it. "Dang Armadillos." he muttered climbing up the rain gutter.

Nova growled as she walked over to the edge of the building and looked down. She sighed and turned back to Aria and James. "James I think you're right... I need you two to head back to the base and get both Ace and Draco out of there... I will lead the armadillos away and once we're out of sight you go down and get them. Understand?" She says as she gets onto the fire escape ready to go down.
