Holding her head with her hands, Khaalida blinks rapidly attempting to see again. "My vision is returning..." She shakes her head and turns her head towards the sound of Riku's voice. "You don't need to be sorry. If anyone should be sorry its me. I sincerely apologize for hurting you." You really need to get better at some things...

"That's great!" Riku exclaimed, a small smile appearing on his face. It soon faded once Khaalida apologized for hurting him. "Hey, I already told you. It's okay. It was my fault," He points out, grimacing as a his shoulder began to throb.

Chuckling half-heartedly Khaalida replies. "Its both of our faults... My over reaction to it certainly allows me some blame..." She stumbles once more as her eyes flash again. She regains her footing and, though her vision is very blurry and dark, she can just make out Riku's silhouette.

(You're fine. I was eating dinner anyways! XD)

"Actually, no it isn't. If it was some other vampire or a human, then you would've had the upper hand, even if you were blind." Riku turns to Khaalida and places his hand on her shoulder. "It wasn't an 'over reaction'. So if something like that ever happens again, I want you to hit as hard as you can."

[inserts Hinami] Unable to find the two vampires, Hinami had rested for a bit in the car she had found.

Khaalida didn't jump as she felt the weight of Riku's hand on her shoulder, because she saw the movement and knew it was coming. "Trust me, I will." She grins. "Just make sure it isn't you next time!" I guess we were very lucky to not have been found while I was completely blind... She clears her throat. "I should have the rest of my sight back very soon..."

"It won't be, don't worry." Riku says and squeezes her shoulder. He leans against the wall and glances around. "Good thing, no one has found us yet." Riku stifles a yawn. "But that doesn't mean they won't..." We can stay here for a while longer, probably at least for two days for my leg to heal up...

Hinami glances around and reports in to see if she can get backup. "Probably not..." She mutters.

Khaalida nods. "A very good thing." She looks around blinking, trying to help clear her vision. I wonder how long we'll be safe here? Hopefully long enough so Riku's leg is healed... I need a new weapon... Drat! Those humans have my rapier!! She purses her lips at the thought of the humans in ownership of the sword.

(Oh!! He looks great!! And like he could kill Khaalida...)

Riku notices Khaalida's expression. "What's wrong?" He asks as he tilts his head, his hair falling in front of his eyes.

Hinami contacts HQ and she takes through her earpiece to see if she can get anyone to come with her.

(do you want to be Hinami's companion owo? Its fine if you don't though :3 and why?! I don't want to kill Khaalida!)

Riku's question snaps Khaalida back to the room and reality. "What? Oh, just thinking about things and where my weapon is..." She mutters the last part making it barely intelligible. She squints and rubs at her eyes as she regains more of her vision.

(What was her companion again? I probably can do that. And I didn't say you wanted to, I just said that it looks like he has the ability to...)

"Can you speak any lower, please?" Riku jokes as he once again tries to lighten the mood. I highly doubt I can though...we're pretty much defenseless right now, He sighs and rubs his shoulder.

(It was Draco but he never responded again. You can make your own though! And yes, I got that but I guess how I responded didn't seem like it, I apologize for that...)

Khaalida chuckles and says something so soft all that could be discerned was, "I wouldn't... be... you." She grins as the rest of her vision returns. "I can see again!" She smiles broadly as she walks over and picks up the board she tripped on.

Draco walks over to Hinami. "Any word?" He asks.

(Its quite alright! No need to apologize :) Its done and figured out.)

Riku grins and props himself off the wall and shifts his weight to the wood again. "I'm glad to hear that," He watches Khaalida pick up the board. "That's one problem solved," Riku murmurs.

Hinami shakes her head. "The two vampires haven't been seen." She replies and turns to Draco. "They probably made distance between us and them."

(Okay! ^-^ I hope Draco is alright with you using his character though!)

Khaalida breaks the plank over her thigh and smiles setting the two halves on the ground. She turns to Riku and then down to his leg. "I could try again... Or just stay here and pray we're not found until that heals..." She steps towards him.

Draco nods and then looks off to the horizon. "Probably... But how far is the question..."

(He stopped using him...)

Riku immediately shakes his head at Khaalida's offer. "No, I don't think that's a very good idea." He says, glancing at his injured foot. "What if you go blind again? I think its better to wait for it to heal. And if someone finds us...at least we won't be both crippled." Riku rubbed his face suddenly looking weary.

"We could keep going," Hinami suggests. "They teleported but whoever did it, they were both weak. So I believe that they couldn't have gone past the city."

(Yeah, you make a valid point...)

"We will wait then..." Khaalida looks at Riku with concern written on her features. "You alright?" She walks over to him and places her hand on his arm. "You should get some rest..." She looks back to the doorway.

Draco turns back to Hinami. "You make a valid point. Lets go then, and pray we head off in the right direction..." He begins walking down the road.

(If it becomes a problem I will change the character...)

Riku nods and leans against the wall again. "That's a start." He mutters, closing his eyes. When was the last time I drank? Riku re-opens his eyes and licks his lips. "I'll go back to the room with the couch, you can explore if you like." Not waiting for Khaalida to reply, Riku makes his way down the hall slowly, due to his injured leg. He grunts along the way.

"Roger that." Hinami follows Draco, her boots crunching the gravel beneath them.

Khaalida watches Riku walk away and she winces slightly every time he puts pressure on his injured leg. That must be so painful... I really need to practice my healing spells... She looks around the room and finds another corridor out. Perhaps I can find something... Where'd that mouse go? She walks down the new passage looking for anything living.

Draco walks in silence. He pulls out the slender blade from the female vampire. He holds it up in the light and examines the fine weapon.

Riku slowly makes his way back to the room, grimacing at each step. "All this walking made it worse..." He collapsed on the couch and almost instantly, the pain on his foot decreased. Letting out a sigh, Riku rubbed his temples. I need to drink...

"It's a really nice blade," Hinami remarks and glances around. No one was in sight.

Khaalida wandered the empty halls. She stopped as she heard a slight noise coming from the next room. It was a scratching sound. She peered around the corner and found an old looking dog, digging at a hole in the wall. She crept up on it and it turned and looked up at her with crazed eyes. It growled and bared its teeth. She bared hers and hissed as she leapt at the dog, deftly snapping its neck. She picked up the body and quickly made her way back to Riku. "I know its not human... But its better than nothing..." She laid the limp body on the floor next to him.

Draco tosses and catches the blade in mid air. "Yes, well crafted... It is well balanced..."

Riku scrunched his nose at the old mutt, the creature not seeming satisfying whatsoever. But at least it's something... He glances at Khaalida with gratitude. "Thank you," The vampire reaches over and picks up the limp body, sinking his fangs into the mutt's neck. Riku shuddered at the taste. After drinking for a bit, Riku pulled back. "What about you?"

Hinami continues walking. "Do you think that vampire made it?"
