All VIPs from different regions come to emerawood for vacations. There's a chance of meeting diantha, Brycen, Steven, Wallace, Cynthia, and many more. You can collect their autographs after defeating them in a pokemon battle. Collect all autographs and get a special pokemon (permanent event) you can give autographs to the Movie nerd or something, and he'll exchange a rare pokemon with you, pokemon which we can't get in ph currently. (maybe hoop a and volcanion and pokemon like that. Shiny forms will request you to get 5 more autographs of each celebrity.) Hoop a will only become unbound if we give it the Tele-Hoop, an ancient hoop given to hoopa to transform it's form into unbound. Emerawood will also enable us to get other items as well, like master balls, G.S. Balls, not used to capture, but sold in EMERA MALL, for a large sum of money. We can only use the pokemon WE have hatched, not obtained from other trainers. So, that makes it much more fair. Autographs cannot be sold to other trainers as well, they should be earned fair and square.

It'd be nice. But think about this~

A) Think about how hard It'd be to code, and Riako has said many many times, this is an adoptable site, not a battling site.

b) This would make Rare pokemon (hoopa and shinnies as you mentioned) EXTREMELY common. So implementing this, would throw of the balance of rare pokemon.

c) Getting "auto graphs" and trading them for shinnies and other very rare pokemon, it just doesn't make sense to me. It would just be a, somewhat boring way to get shinnies super fast. Most users on site dislike/don't use the battling systems anyway. Shiny hunting, and trading/selling (and other things eg. luck on honey tree), should be the only way to get shinnies.

Now I'm not hating on your idea at, I think it's a fairly good one other than the gaining pretty much free shinnies part.

No support sorry- if this was implemented shinies would be waay too easy to obtain and they are meant to be a challenge. Same goes for "rare" pokemon.

BTW which person out of their mind would give hoopa an OP hoop. Theres a reason hoopa was in a jail. thats why its item is the Prison Bottle. Pls the legends are way too OP

I like this idea but only insofar as collecting autographs. It could be just a fun little activity to do like collecting puzzle pieces.

Instead of battling, it would be completely randomized visits from a different Gym Leader/Elite Four for each user (or in some cases, there would be no one there at all). Some of the dialogue could include:
"Oh! Fancy meeting you here!"
"Nice day out for a stroll through Emerawood, wouldn't you say?"

You would be given an option to ask for an autograph or to say "Have a nice day!" Opting out is for users who already randomized that particular Gym Leader/Elite Four; OR they could ask for another autograph. This gives users a chance to collect autographs from their favorite Gym Leader(s)/Elite Four members like some users collect multiples of their favorite plushies.

This would make the activity something that users could check on everyday and enough of a challenge for those seeking to collect all autographs.

Collecting autographs and meeting Pokemon "celebs" sounds like it could be fun. I'm sure the artists would have fun designing their signatures. Just some ideas:

-An autograph book could be a way to view the collected autographs.
-Perhaps there are certain requirements for meeting celebs/getting their autographs (ie. Maybe a celeb only shows up on Thursday night or a celeb has a quest they want you to complete before giving out their autograph)
-Some benefit for getting autographs would be nice. Free shinies or legendaries would be a little much unless those autographs were really hard to get, but something more minor would give users an incentive to collect them. (ie. A specific autograph/set of autographs/amount of autographs will grant the user a benefit or item like a small discount at the item shop or an Event Voucher)

Another interesting idea is that celebs (i.e. gym leaders/Elite Four) would randomize depending on the weather.

Rainy = Water-type
Sunny = Grass-type
Clear = Normal-type
etc etc

Having them give you quests to complete like the Beauty Contest would be a fun way to encourage more activity around the site. Besides the standard interacting with a user's Pokemon or playing X in the Game Center, they might also ask you to buy cheap items like evolution stones, berries, honey, and such. If it can't be found in stores, you would have to ask players to sell/trade. Also good for encouraging users to socialize.

I'm not too sure on what consolation prizes there could be. Small amounts of PD/gems? Event plushies (specially made for the autographs and a rare chance at receiving it)?

Edit: As an afterthought, it would be neat if hard-to-acquire autographs required you to show them a certain Pokemon by having it in your party. For example, Steven could require you to show him a shiny Metagross or Dianthe could require you to show her a mega-able OR mega-evolved Gardevoir. I think this would go fairly well with PH's breeding/shiny hunting objective. If you're looking to collect a certain autograph and know the requirements for it, all that's left is to A. Breed B. Buy/Trade or C. Borrow, and I feel like a lot of users may go the breeding route. ^^ It earns them a shiny/mega-able with their own hard work AND gets them a cool signature... They'll just need to wait until that celeb shows up. :P
