(lol, I was so happy scrolling through and finding one! Then in the other! Sadly, I have to wait for the other >< But I got this one! :3)

(Kaden's POV)

Oh! That was something! Looking up at her, my arms circling her back, I asked, "Why did you leave? Come back here, you!" Then I leaned up and kissed her, deepening it. Oh! It was wonderful! My right hand went up to cradle the back of her head while my left hand stayed there on her lower back, holding her close. I don't remember how much longer it was but sometime later, I was breathless and pulled back just enough to lean my forehead against hers. "Wishing...on shooting stars...works. I think...Ima do it...again!"

(Emily's POV)

God that was nice. His hands were so soft, holding me just so. Is was heavenly. I smirked naughtily at him, tracing my finger across his chest. "Why waste time wishing on things so far away? I'm right here." I gently caressed his cheek with the back of my hand. "And who needs to wish for something they already have?" I pressed myself against his chest, snuggling into his neck. His warmth was so nice.

(Vannister POV)

I woke up with a start, sure that something was wrong. Looking around quickly, I saw nothing. "Strange." Standing, I suddenly noticed that Emily's bed was empty. That in it of itself wouldn't have bothered me. It was the fact that Kaden was gone as well. I snuck quickly out the door. Moving slowly, I moved around to the back of the building. Then I spotted them. About a hundred yards up the hill. Needless to say, I was not pleased. I knew they wouldn't notice me, as they were facing away. The idea of psychically cutting the boys brainstem crossed my mind. "Calm yourself. There are better ways to deal with this." A thought came to me, and a nasty smile crept across my lips. Sneaking back inside, I lay down on my mat, soon fast asleep. Kaden would soon pay for this.

(Kaden's POV)

A deep, almost growl escaped me and I held her closer, gently kissing her. "I like that idea...Emily...I love you..." I murmured. We fit together like we were made for each other. I think that was why we fit so well. She was everything I wanted. Warm, kind and I loved just being around her. Right then, the world shrunk down to just us. Just Emily, the small clearing, and me. And I never wanted it to end.

(Aurora's POV)

I woke early. I had to get ready for the day. Smiling, I looked across the room and saw it. The dress...the flowers...and the memory. Sighing, I stood and got out of bed. I had to go through with it. I just didn't have to put those chains on yet. I would get to help with the dawn ceremony first. Thank gods. I wanted to tell someone about last night but at the same time...I just couldn't.

(Emily's POV)

I wasn't quite sure what to say. I lay in silence, trying to think. Was this just going to turn into another mess? I couldn't do that to myself again. I kissed him again, finally deciding my words. "Is that so?" I noticed the sun beginning to peek over the horizon. "Well, let me think over that today, and maybe you'll get a chance to prove it tonight." I winked at him, before pushing myself to my feet. I knew he would not be exactly please that I was playing the hard to get game, but oh well. I wasn't ready, so he would just have to wait. I walked quickly back to the house, hoping that Vannister hadn't woken yet.

(Dreamscape's POV)

I woke to the sound of Emily entering. I smirked at her. "Anything interesting happen last night?" She shot me a nasty look, before making a shushing motion. "Nobody can here telepathy you goose. And I'm assuming by that look, no." I stretched, yawning widely as well. "How boring." I then noticed that Vanni was not where I had left him. In fact, he didn't seem to be in the building at all!

(Vannister's POV)

I tried to keep pace with the Chief. He was quick for an old man! I had risen early, planning on putting in a bit of training before the ceremony. I had however been interrupted by the Chief. He had asked me to walk with him for a moment, and how could I refuse? He knew that I wouldn't know the process of the Dawn ceremony, so he had come to teach, and explain some of the more intricate parts. None of it seemed difficult, though it was quite a bit more intimate than I had expected. It was usually preformed by either a mother or a mate he had explained. Since I had neither of these in my species, Aurora would fill that role. "You will do fine my friend." He said with a pat on my shoulder. We walked through the center of town, where people were already setting up for the wedding. "Your ceremony will take place on the cliffs near here. We should head there now, as dawn is already upon us."

(Kaden's POV)

Had I scared her? I hadn't meant to go so fast...but I didn't regret telling her that. I waited a moment so that she could gather her thoughts. Then I stood. Realizing I had everything with me, I headed for the town. I hoped that I could help somehow. Maybe even learn more about the tribe! And try to keep myself from thinking up horrible scenarios of what she was thinking or doing.

(Aurora's POV)

Serene and composed, no one noticed how fragile my mask was. Everyone was so excited for the ceremony and the wedding. I was dressed for the ceremony first, all the while listening to my sisters chat about how lucky I was. I smiled and hugged them, keeping myself cheerful so that no one knew anything was amiss. Once ready, I set off for the cliffs my father asked me to meet him at. On the way there, I saw her. I saw the girl my betrothed had...she looked at me, her mouth smiling but her eyes bright with her secret night with him. I hugged her as I passed, wishing things could be different. She seemed surprised and all the more smug. Finally, I reached the cliffs and waited, my hands clasped before me, by eyes downcast. Realizing I looked like something horrible had happened, I turned my face towards where I knew the sun would rise and smiled, ready to greet it.

(Vannister's POV)
The ceremony was fairly simple as far as I could tell. It was actually very similar in form to human marriage ceremonies, which made me feel a bit awkward. Aurora would be waiting at the edge of the cliffs, with the rest of the village forming two groups I would walk between. Once there, we would preform a sequence of movements, almost a dance together, and would end with my hand resting on her crystal and hers on my chest. She would ask me a question, and here is where things got a bit uncomfortable for me. I wouldn't know what the question would be, but it would be extremely intimate. I had to answer truthfully, or apparently the stone would not work. Said stone would them be tossed into the air, and we would each each grab hold with our free hand, forming a triangle with the stone as the final point. And it would happen. I would evolve. I sighed. No pressure here. We finally made it to the cliffs, where the villagers were already in place. Emily was there, with Dreamscape on her shoulder. Kaden and Jasper were there as well, at the back of the crowd. I gave a quick glance at the chief, who nodded encouragingly. I sighed, and walked forward towards Aurora.

(Aurora's POV)

I waited at the edge of the cliff, watching Vannister walk forward. Part of me felt strange because it felt so much like the ceremony I would perform soon. Though, in that case, I would be walking towards Roland and have to pretend I knew nothing. That ceremony, I would get through. I swore to myself I would. But if tried to touch me tonight...well, I didn't care what it looked like, he would not be touching me tonight. But he sure as hell was not going to touch any other girl. I'd make him lay there in bed next to me. He might not want to be faithful before our marriage but if I could help it, he'd be faithful during it. That's when I realized I had zoned. Thankfully, seeing Vannister in front of me pulled me out of the past and future, letting me focus on the now. I smiled at him and began the movements that my mother had taught me a few hours earlier. Everything else melted away, leaving me to zoom in on my immediate surroundings. The feel of the grass, the caress of the breeze, the gentle whoosh of the river below, and the way we moved together. Suddenly, I saw a flash of Vannister and Dream dancing together later tonight. Her small and delicate in his stronger, much taller form. They were laughing and so happy together. This made me smile. I filed it away, planning to pull it out later to focus on. They would be happy and that would make me happy.

(So the full dance isn't all that important, so I'm not going to take the time to write it out. It's basically the Dancing Dragon though, with a few small changes.)

(Vannister's POV)

Aurora seemed to be lost in thought as I approached her, but came back to reality when I stood before her. She smiled, seemingly much more comfortable with the ceremony. We began the dance, which I realized was some strange fighting exercise. It loosened my muscles, made me feel stronger as I moved. I was rather enjoying the feeling. It was the same feeling I got when battling. My eyes wandered across the onlookers. There was Kaden at the back. The sight of him brought memories of last night to the front of his mind. The turmoil in his mind sent his powers out of control. Psychic energy crackled through the air as I moved, following the motions of my hands. It appeared as though I was directing purple lightning through my body. Some in the crowd looked worriedly at the chief, but he simply nodded and gesture to continue. We danced, emotional energy filling the air, sending the crowd into a gentle sway. One last step. I turned toward her, finishing the dance. I could feel a slight twinge of jealousy from Dreamscape as my hand rested on Aurora. A crack sounded in my mind as she completed the mental circuit. A flood of emotions washed over me, hers I assumed. I was surprised to find how angry and upset she was, not at all what she was portraying physically. I knew my own emotions must have been dumped into her as well. I stood looking into her eyes, awaiting the question.

(Aurora's POV)

His hand rested intimately over the crystal in my chest. Looking deeply into his, I waited, letting the question take shape. My own hand rested on his chest. I seriously hoped Dream knew I didn't want to break them up. I liked them together and hoped they would be as happy as the vision I had seen. Did I make Roland jealous like this? I doubted it. Anger and protectiveness rolled through Vannister and into me. I blinked, confused. The question formed and I blurted it out before I could stop myself. "Vannister, do you know?" I whispered. Only he could hear it. "Will you help?" As soon as it was out, I wanted to take it back. Or at least ask something different. But I found I could no longer speak! Panic slammed into me. Was that the right question?! How could that be right? I'd just messed it all up! But now the ceremony was started and it had to be completed. In a few moments, we'd learn if I had messed everything up for poor Vannister.

(Vannister's POV)

Worry passed through me at the question. I had no ide what she was asking! Did I know? How was I supposed to answer that? The truthful answer would be no, but she asked for help... An image was injected into my mind like a mental needle. Dreamscape had heard the question through my mind, and was showing me something! The scene took shape in my mind, as my face hardened into a glare. That little bastard. And I thought Kaden was a seducer. I turned my attention back to Aurora. I leaned in closer, speaking into her ear. "Yes. I will help you." A sizzling noise came from above our heads. I looked up to see what looked like the very light was condensing, forming a small blue stone. My reached out, closing my fingers around the object, and everything went white.

(Dreamscape's POV)

This "rescue Aurora" thing was working out way better than I ever expected! Now I knew that Aurora had witnessed last nights activities as well, and she wanted out. All we needed was for Kaden to offer her that way out. The Dawn Stone formed above the twos heads, and Vanni grabbed it. White light exploded off of him, bathing the crowd in its glow. Why was this evolution so bright? It was normally a much softer shine than this. His body stretched, reforming under the light of the stone. In just a few moments it was done. He stood there, six inches taller than the gardevoir next to him, his hand still on her crystal. Her hand now touched a crystal of his own. The two hearts flashed red light in the same beat. I grimaced. This was what I had been afraid of. They were the two from the stories, lovers across time. At least I had already worked out the whole "relationship" thing with Aurora. The rest of the village however... The chieftain moved forward, his eyes wide with shock. "The Day has finally come! The lovers are reunited!" Suddenly, Roland pushed through the crowd, a look of fury on his face. "She was promised to me, not this human bred worm..." He growled. Sensing danger, the villagers moved back. The chief frowned. "Roland, do you not know the significance of this? The prophecy must be completed. I am sorry, but she can't b-" the younger Gallade knocked the chief aside. "Shut up old man. I will have my bride, prophecy be damned!" His blades stretched outward, as he pointed at Vannister. "Well wormling? What have you to say?" Vannister glanced at Aurora, before placing himself between the Gardevoir and Roland. "I say that you revoked your rights to her when you took another." A gardevoir in the crowd gave a small squeak, and a snicker escaped me. He continued, " You don't deserve her. This tribe doesn't deserve such a weak successor." His own blades extended, as he glared at Roland. "I challenge you for her." Roland laughed loudly, before suddenly lunging at Vannister. A loud crack rang out as their blades connected, Vannister having blocked Roland's attack. I turned my mind to Aurora. "Get over here quickly girl, before you get caught in the crossfire! Kaden has something for you as well. And don't worry about Vannister. Roland doesn't stand a chance!"

(Aurora's POV)

Shock and anger boiled through me as I heard Roland speak. I was about to snap at him, unable to stop myself when Dream called out to me. But I was torn. Yes, I had been promised to Roland, but he was unfaithful and cruel as it turned out. And Vannister was kind and warm. We had a connection, for sure. But was it from the ceremony and friendship? Or were we truly the lovers of old reincarnated? I wasn't sure. I did know that a life tied to Roland would bring heartache and misery though. So I ran over to Kaden, Emily, Dream and Jasper. "Dream, I'm sorry. I didn't know. I...I don't want to hurt you," I began in a rush. "How...how did Vannister know?" I asked, feeling something wet roll down my cheeks. Bringing my hands up, I realized I was crying.

(Jasper's POV)

I had no idea what was happening but from what I gathered, Roland had stepped out on Aurora! Trembling, I darted forward, using a grace I had no idea I possessed. A grace a huge steel snake such as myself had no right possessing. But it allowed me to sneak up on the guys who'd raced forward to back up Roland. Using my tail, I pulled them back and away from Vannister. He might be a gallade but he was still only one guy. And it was only fair for the fight to be one on one. I'd talk to Vannister later about what was going down with the whole prophecy thing.

(Kaden's POV)

Everything had happened so fast! One moment, Sky was becoming a Gallade and the next, the one who was going to marry Aurora was attacking him! Now she was near us, crying and talking to Dreamscape as Jasper ran out to help Sky. "I don't understand what's happening but I feel like I need to help the boys," I told Emily.

(Dreamscape's POV)

I fluttered around between Aurora and Kaden. "DO NOT get involved Kaden. Vannister already doesn't like you, and interfering will only make that worse. Also you have more pressing matters to tend to." I turned quickly to Aurora, noting how upset she was. "It's fine sweetie, it's not your fault. You had no control over this. But you do have control of what happens next."[/img] I couldn't help twirling in excitement. Everything was happening so fast and I loved it! [img]"Kaden wanted to catch you right? So why not let him? Come with us and you won't have to worry about arranged marriages anymore! Even if your marriage to Roland is cut, your father is going to try and make Sky marry you now. The only way out is being captured!"

(Emily's POV)

Dream was talking with Kaden and a distraught Aurora, but had conveniently left me out of the conversation. I turned back to the fight. Jasper had blocked the other Gallade, leaving only Sky and Roland to fight. I couldn't help cheering, despite the scathing looks of the Pokemon around me. "GO SKY! KNOCK HIS EYES OUT!" I kept my eyes glued to the fighters, growing obvious to everyone around me. Their arm blades cracked and sparked in the dawn light, creating a hypnotic effect. I began to sway slightly at the sight, completely enthralled. My trance was broken suddenly when Roland kicked sand right into Sky's face. "CHEATING BASTARD!" I spat, though a smile was still plastered on my face. I moved to the edge of the fight circle. "Skylark, Imprison!" Thick chains made of psychic energy shot from Sky's eyes, binding Roland in place.

(Vannister's POV)

I stood before my helpless for, watching him cower. "Who's the worm now Roland?" *Smack! Bam! Whack!* My blade connected with his head several times. "You're nothing back a whiny little lilipup, crying to get what he wants. Your not fit to lead anyone." *Crack!* That one had caused a bit more damage. A thin line of blood trickled down his damaged face. I lifted him by his throat, holding him close to my face. "Take your men and leave, before you make an even bigger fool of yourself." A sharp knee to his gut accompanied my words, before I tossed him aside. A few of his men slipped by Jasper, but ignored me. They lifted their leader, carrying him back towards the village. I glanced over at Emily, who seemed pleased. Something else was there though... Was it worry? I shrugged it off. It was probably a trick of my mind. I walked quickly to her, and she pulled me back to the rest of our group. The crowed had gone dead silent, as they watched me. Several Gardevoir where tending to the chief's minor injuries. I remained quiet, not sure what to say.

(Jasper's POV)

I battled for all I was worth, keeping the guys from their buddy Roland. But in the end, a couple got past. I was about to wrangle them back but they didn't go after Vannister. So I let the others go and went to stand next to Vannister. At least if someone attacked him, he'd have backup. "You okay?" I asked him. "You were on fire there. I don't think he'll be looking for a second go until he runs home to lick his wounds and heal."

(Kaden's POV)

"In any case, Jasper's there and they're gone," I agreed with Dream, seeing the reasoning. "And Emily is there too. So..." I turned to Aurora. "Would you like to come with me?" I asked her, reaching into my bag and pulling out a heal ball. "I promise I will look after you. If you are ever unhappy, we can return and I swear I will let you go, no hard feelings." Then I offered the heal ball to her.

(Aurora's POV)

I was still confused. Not about why or what I could do but what I should do. If I was caught, would I see my family again? Would they be okay with my choice? What would make me happiest? Biting my lip, I quickly weighed my options. Going with Kaden would mean being with Jasper and, if things stayed their current course, with Emily, Dream, and Vannister too. Staying meant being here and having everyone silently condone me for what was happening. And Roland might come back to try to seek revenge. What if he hurt my family and I was away? But I couldn't be ruled by fear. Taking a deep breath, I shut my eyes and centered myself. What did my heart say? A few seconds later, I reached out my right hand and touched the ball. There was a flash of light and I felt pulled inside. Things squished together and suddenly, I was seeing everyone from inside the heal ball in Kaden's hand. Panic began to rise as I realized I didn't know how to get back out. Thankfully, my new trainer was looking out for me because Kaden sent me out, letting me take part in what was to follow. Only when I was out of the ball did I realize maybe staying inside would have been easier. Not the right choice, just easier.
