"Pleasure to meet you! I couldn't stand not talking to someone who
seems nice much longer." Amy commented, giving him a compliment.
She couldn't wait to get more friends, she beamed happily. She
looked back at the book taking notes. "I'm Amy, and you are?" She
asked, still beaming.
Zephyr started to laugh but trying not to get noticed by the
professor "I know right?" Zephyr looked at the professor to see if
he hadn't noticed anything Seems not. "Nice to meet you, I'm
Zephyr" He said with a smile.
Amy covered her face with the book so the teacher didn't see them
talking. She flicked back her silky blonde hair. "Nice name, it's
great to be your friend, Zephyr!" Amy replied happily. She noted
down even more notes so she actually did some work. She couldn't
help but smile. She had made another friend! Could it get any
better?
Brandon sighed. Thanks for the ignorance. He tapped his foot
on the ground, watching the books float to everyone's desk, and
staring at the one that landed on his own. Some people are
late... is reading through a chapter that hard? He flipped
through the first chapter of the book, then did it again just to
make sure he memorized it all. He stared at the test blankly, not
wanting to take it.
Seraphina sat there reading her book and looked up when she heard
quiet talking right next to her. It's nice to talk to people
sometimes... But other times its just nice to listen... Oh shut up
and do your math. She looks back down to her book and reads,
memorizing the expressions and methods for solving the problems.
"Thank you! It comes from a Greek God. My parents have a little
obsession with Greece and it's history." Zephyr said to Amy loud
enough for her to hear but quiet enough for the professor not to
notice. He then turned around to Seraphina so she could participate
in the conversation they were having.
Seraphina saw his movement out of the corner of her eye. She made a
note and then looked up to him. I wasn't listening to what he
was saying... What if he asks me what he thought about what he
said... I will look stupid if I ask him what he said and make him
repeat it... Geez, you already look stupid...
Draco read the 1st chapter in 10 minutes and re-read it in 5
minutes. Draco took some notes during the 15 minutes as he read the
chapter. Draco then took the test and checked his notes every once
and a while. Draco finished his test in another 15 minutes and he
re-read the problems and checked his answers in another 15 minutes.
He took then 10 minutes to fix what he thought was wrong. Draco
then got an 89% on his test "Not bad" Draco said and went to his
next class.
Seraphina looked past Zephyr at the girl and she nodded. "Yes..."
She said very quietly. She shot a quick glance up at the teacher
and then back to him. Do your work. You don't want to get
punished on the first day of classes do you? She looks back
down to her book and makes another note.
Draco waited outside to the door for english class. "That class
was pretty cool. Nice challenging problems but easy enough to
solve. I may not be the best at math but I always do my work and
turn it in on time" Draco thought. Draco yawned. "I wonder how
the others and Seraphina are doing." He said
Brandon finished the test. He ended up getting about 92% on it. He
stuffed the book into his bag, then left the class and headed for
English. Finally I'm outta there. He could hear small
chatting from the side of the classroom while he was in there.
That was weird.
"Uhh nice then!" Zephyr decided to return to his paper and try and
finish it the fastest as he could, but always with some pauses to
look at the view from the window.
She reads through her notes and then closes her notebook. She takes
the test going from memory. She hands the paper to Mr. Ganshi and
he hands it back to her and she walks away to her next class.
%91... Not bad for the first day... What's next? English...
She walks down the hall to the class room and picks a spot next to
the window again.
Draco sat down next to a window once again. Draco rested his chin n
his hand and started through the window. Draco sighed and waited
for class to begin. "WHEN WILL WE GET TO USE OUR POWER?!
Draco angrily thought about
After Seraphina handed the test to the teacher, Zephyr decided it
was his time to hand it to him. So he got up, smile at Amy, and
delivered the test. In the end he got a 85% which it wasn't all
that bad since math was his least favorite subject. He put the
paper in his bag and walked away to the cafeteria. He still hadn't
eaten anything since yesterday night so he was so hungry that he
could eat a cow by now.
Amy quirky finished her paper and handed it in. 88%? Eh, that's
fine to me. She thought, leaving the class and catching up to
Seraphina and Zephyr. "English next, I'm sure it won't be that
bad!" She said positively.
Draco glances at Amy "Why does she always follow that guy and
Seraphina? Childhood friends? Nah. Best guess is she likes that
guy" Draco thought. He sighed with his eyes closed and
continued to look through the window "I miss the outside" Draco
said quietly so no one around him could here
"I just wanted to thank you guys for talking to me and being my
friends, it's so welcoming here." Amy said to them both, smiling.
She knew Draco glanced at her and didn't return the gaze. Why is
that guy staring at me? Hm. Maybe I should go talk to him. Amy
walked over to Draco happily. "Hiya there!" She said warmly.
Brandon entered the classroom and sat more towards the window. He
threw his bag on the floor beside his desk and waited for the
teacher. Is Sasha still in history or math? Wow. He sighed,
gazing out the window. No point in wanting to go home anyway.
I'm gonna have to get used to being here.
