scarlet hissed at fade, blushing faintly.
''stupid bird... be lucky i don't drink you're blood..'' she growled.
she got up and sighed.
''i'm going to go hunt...'' scarlet complained, turning into a bat and flying towards the wood's.

(way to ruin the moment fade, lol)

"Scarlet--" Rain said, his hand reaching out halfway in attempt to halt her. He quickly drew back, his mouth halfway open. Scarlet was already gone. Rain glared at Fade. Please. That girl can think better with a hole in her head, Fade replied icily. Rain bolted towards the woods, slamming a bottle onto the floor and running through the blue mist it conjured.
He transformed into a fox-human hybrid with fluffy ears and a tail the same color as his hair. Now about ten times faster, Rain leaped through the woods with ease. He climbed up a tree, leaping from branch to branch until he was on the top. "Hey," he said softly, smiling lightly at Scarlet.

scarlet looked over at him, holding a small black kitten in her arm's while she was sitting at the top of the tree.
''hey... look at what i found abandoned in the wood's below the tree, the poor thing was all alone.... isn't she just a little darling?'' she asked, smiling as she held the little black kitten up for rain to see.
the kitten had a sleek pure black coat with black paw pad's, but it's eye's were a bright amber color.
it mewed at him and tried to bat at his nose with harmless, yet pointy, needle like claw's.

Rain's ears perked up as he saw the kitten. His fluffy tail flicked slightly, a result of him being surprised. As the kitten meekly pawed at him, he noticed its luminous amber eyes that seemed to stare at him so innocently. His hand drew back, the Fox claws that had overtaken his nails barely touching the kitten. The kitten's eyes flashed ever so quickly from blood-red to amber. Its mother must of been a spy for the vampires, Rain thought, recalling the moment Crysia had talked about how they used to use cats. He stroked the kitten's head. "I think you should keep it," he said softly.

she smiled happily and hugged the little kitten.
''the school won't mind me with a kitten, they think i'm just a poor little blind girl.... i have a special pass for seeing eye pet's, and i'm sure this little cutie will help out!'' she said, cooing at the little kitten as she scratched under her chin.
the kitten purred and swayed her tail happily.
''i think i'll call her midnight'' scarlet said.
she sat midnight down in her lap and leaned over, kissing rain on the cheek.

"Always the mild ones, hm?" A voice said. Rain looked towards the source of the voice, whereas the kitten yelped and clawed directly at the familiar sound, causing the vampire to reveal himself and draw back. "Ugh... damned cat," he hissed, in which Midnight only hissed back. "You scared it," Rain said, laughing softly. Reign just shot a glare at the cat. Crysia laughed, sitting on a nearby branch somewhat naive them. "
You got wrecked by a cat," she gasped between laughter. Reign flicked a butternut into her mouth, and her hair turned a hot pink with sparkling violet horns curling out of her head. "Rain! Crysia hissed, glaring with her now lavender eyes. Reign just laughed, smiling with white teeth. Crysia's black devil tail flicked grudgingly, which seemed odd since it had a heart on the end of it.

scarlet blushed furiously in embarrassment and climbed and out of the tree, careful not to hurt midnight.
she stormed off deeper into the wood's with the cat, grumbling something to herself quietly.
midnight tried to comfort her by purring, but scarlet didn't respond.

gale was flying over head, along with her brother skull.
scarlet looked up, seeing both of the crow's through some gap's that were between the treetop's.
lucifer must be nearby.. along with his cabin.... she thought, looking ahead as she continued to walk.
midnight was sound asleep in her arm's, purring softly in attempt to comfort her new master still.

"Scarlet, please. Why do you keep running away from us? There's nothing to be ashamed of," Crysia said, a bit of mist flowing off of her as she appeared next to the vampire. "Reign just gets... you know how he gets." Her devil's tail flicked as Celestial landed on her shoulder.
Why does your tail have a heart on it? The raven remarked, picking softly at her pink hair. Reign's stupid candy, Crysia replied, pushing her beak to the side. Celestial gave a small caw of amusement, Crysia glaring at her raven.

scarlet stopped walking and turned around to look at crysia, her face still flushed a faint red.
''it's embarrassing.... how would you like it if i watched you being alone with my brother? how would that make you feel crysia, cause i know you like him'' she said, trying to get rid of her embarrassment now.

"We are only acquaintances to each other, and at the most, friends," Crysia said coldly. "And we weren't watching you, Scarlet. Even Reign wouldn't do that. We sort of just saw you guys and approached you. We're not stalkers," the vampire said as her raven cruelly perched on her horns.

scarlet's teeth clenched and she looked away, tear's swelling up in her eye's.
''well the next time you see me and rain alone, just assume i want to be alone with him...!'' she muttered, restraining herself from yelling at her friend.
she took a few shaky breathe's and looked at crysia, now looking calm again.
''it was embarrassing enough when that stupid bird caught me and rain alone.... fade's such an annoying rat with feather's....'' she grumbled.

"Fade just hates you," Crysia said calmly, tugging at her hot pink hair. She then quickly added, "A lot." Her dark eyes looked up at the sky, her mouth opening as she let out a suppressed breath. "The bird is protective of Rain. He's quite timid, and can be caught off-guard easily, so the bird takes that into account whenever he's with you. Fade doesn't approve of you, Scarlet, but that's all there is to it," the vampire said, "She's really just trying to look out for her master."

midnight yawned and woke up, rubbing her head against scarlet's arm.
she scratched the kitten's head and just stared at crysia.

Crysia made a sound that sounded like both a cough and a laugh. "Yes, Fade is a girl," she said, giggling as they, for some reason kept walking forwards. "Shouldn't we go back to the twins now?" Crysia's horns sparkled a bit, the bottom of her pink hair growing a bit purple.

once they arrived at the dark cabin, scarlet knocked on the door and leaped up into the air, landing on the roof stealthily.
she grinned down at crysia and waved.
when the door opened, lucifer stood in the doorway.
''oh, hey crysia.. you can come in if you want'' he said, standing aside so she could get inside.

(scarlet's a sneaky one XD lol)

lucifer stepped out and looked up at the roof, crossing his arm's and grinning.
''hey scar, what are you doing up there for?'' he asked.
scarlet climbed down and sighed.
''i was planning on leaving crysia here and heading back to the forest's edge.. oh and look, i found a cat'' she said, holding up midnight as the cat looked at lucifer innocently.
lucifer looked at the cat and rubbed one of her ear's.
''cute little ninja kitty you found'' he said.

Crysia just sighed and shook her head. Scarlet is so teasing sometimes, she thought, turning her head to the side to gaze at the trees. She found Lucifer an unlikely loner; he seemed more social and joyous than she would think a regular outcast. Her graceful raven companion glided onto her shoulder, her jet black feathers neat for once. "It seems vaguely familiar," Crysia noted, not even touched the amber-eyed creature. She was bad with any animal besides ravens (and Reign).
