Eclipse cocked her head with interest. "I guess I got adopted by all four of them. I don't call them dad or mom, though," she remarked, slowing down a bit to look at an aging statue of a face. It was a man whose jaw was stretched apart to reveal his fangs, exaggerated and sharpened to a point that almost made the statue seem fantastical to her.

he slowed to stay next to her and looked up at the statue, finding it rather stupid looking, then looked at her again.
''that's cool though, it's like having two mom's and dad's'' he said, then looked on ahead.
Percy grew silent, thinking for a moment before he turned around to walk backwards, looking at her while tilting his head, reaching up to pull the cloaks collar down a bit to show bite scars.
''my father saved me from a feral vampire.... i'm the only survivor of the attack, and he gave my real parents a proper buriel'' he said.

The young girl's smile faltered a bit when she heard this and her eyes clouded with a wave of feeling that she couldn't quite put her finger on. She gaped at him, dumbfounded by this sudden attack of emotion, and protectively drew Dusk closer to her chest. His story was reminiscent of something that was wedged deep into the crevices of a history that she could no longer access, and the strange feeling ebbed away slowly and left her with emptiness.
Realizing that she had been staring at him, Eclipse blinked sharply and the jubilance that normally held her face crept back. "I think I have marks like that, too," she replied, her mind blocked from making any connection. "Your father seems really nice. Is he close by? Do you think he could help show us around?"

Percy shrugged and pulled his phone out, typing up a quick message and sending it to his father before stashing it back into his pocket.
''he could be anywhere, i just sent him a text message so he'll show up here in a few'' he said.

Jackson had refilled his cup and was just about to take a sip before he felt his phone buzz in his him pocket and sighed, setting the cup down onto the table before grabbing his phone to look at who messaged him.
''hm, seems Percy wants me to show him and his new friend around the castle... would that be alright with you dad? considering i spent a part of my life here and you were pretty chill about me roaming around, i know where the best reading places are and quite places'' he said, a slight grin at the last part.

Eclipse tilted her head with interest and leaned in a bit closer to look at what he had in his hand. She opened her mouth and almost blurted out before remembering the manners that her four parents had enforced on her vehemently. "I beg your pardon?"

Monty huffed out of his nose as a form of laughter and nodded. "Of course. I do hope we'll have another chance to talk again like this soon." He sipped the last of his tea and stood up to shake his son's hand.

he blinked, a little confused on why she didn't know what a cellphone was before it clicked, smacking himself in the forehead out of his stupidity.
''you don't know what a cellphone is do you?'' he asked, genuinely apologetic about not realizing her confusion sooner.

he got up and put his phone away, smiling as he shook Monty's hand.
''considering Percy seems to have enjoyed meeting you i'm sure he'll wanna visit again in the future'' Jackson said, soon disappearing into the shadows and heading to where Percy was.

he sighed and covered half his face, tucking his other harm into the crook of his elbow.
''go figure that your guardian's don't use cellphones in this day an age....'' Percy mumbled to himself, then pulled his phone back out and gave a gentle smile.
he turned it back on and went over to where she could watch him show how it worked.
''it isn't a weapon, it's something you use to make phone calls to family or friends or make emergency calls if something happens... but you know how it is with vampire's and humans, so the human emergency number is useless to us, but you can contact your guardians easier especially if your get separated.... there is also an upside to being able to play games'' he explained, showing her most of the simple basic features before moving on to showing the games he had, which was basically farming games, an idle game, one that was minecraft themed, and a couple games that were based on a monster collection game and a wizard one based around the same concept.

(Pokemon Go and Wizards Unite, just to explain the last two games)

Eclipse lit up with interest when he mentioned games specifically. "Oh, can we try playing one?" She asked, shyly pointing to one of the farming games.

Percy looked at the game she pointed at and smiled, nodding as he tapped it and signed out of his game, then made a new one with a different login method and held the phone out for her to take.
''sure, you'll have the tutorial so you'll pick up on it quickly'' he assured cheerfully.

Crysia sat with her legs crossed and her palm cupping her cheek for support. Her viciously red eyes seemed to be flaming with more poorly-contained intensity than normal, with her jaw visibly clenched and her dark eyebrows wrinkled together. Rain was still cradling Scarlet when he noticed her from across the clearing. He inquisitively cocked his head and motioned her closer in a way that suggested she had no other choice. Reign was, sadly, much less attentive of emotions and even more so unaccustomed to talking about anything in that regard.
"You're angry. Talk about it," he suggested softly. Crysia huffed and looked down at Scarlet, who was still sleeping, and instead diverted the conversation to her (but not really). "Has she noticed Lucifer?"
"What do you mean?" Rain's eyes widened.
"He's gone. He left. I... hope she's able to take it alright."

Scarlet listened from where she was sitting, her back somewhat towards Crysia and her head tucked against Rains chest, making it easy for her to hide the fact she was awake thanks to her hair covering her face, and stayed quiet as they both talked.
if he left on his own free will then it was his choice to leave.... we wouldn't have been able to stop him either way since he's so stubborn about things.. she thought.
after a bit she shifted a little in Rain's arms and got up, heading off towards town to go hunt.
''i'll be back in a few..'' she rattled off, loud enough for them to hear, and vanished into the shadows.
Gale swooped down a bit and glided after her mistress.
Shadow walked over and hopped up into Rains lap, curling up and purring loudly as she nuzzled the vampire's hand.

Rain perked up in surprise when he realized that Scarlet had been listening, shame crawling up his face in the form of a soft warm hue from talking about his partner behind her back. He watched Gale, dumbstruck, and covered his mouth with his fingers. "I-i..." he trailed off and delicately wrapped his hands around Shadow to move her so that he could go after Scarlet.
Crysia interrupted, "Stay put, Rain. She didn't seem... angry and I'm sure she needs the time alone being how fresh this all is."
"A-are you sure?" His head swung back in her direction with what was a look of desperate worry.
"Give her a little bit."

Shadow glared up at Rain from where he had sat her down, ears pinned back and tail twitching occasionally out of irritation.

after a bit of shadow walking Scarlet appeared in an alleyway out of sight and leaned against the wall, one arm slipping around her stomach as the other one rested lightly against her face, eyes closed and sighing.
''i can't just sleep anymore to regain my energy... stupid wound drained me more than i thought it did..'' Scarlet grumbled quietly under her breathe.
Gale landed onto her mistresses shoulder and looked up at her, tilting her head.
''well you should go eat then you dummy, before you go on a rampage'' Gale told her sternly, earning a soft hiss from Scarlet before the raven flew up to keep watch up above.

Scarlet soon pushed off the wall and looked up for a moment, then turned and went to go find some prey o hunt down.
she's right... i haven't ate in a while and there's a chance of just killing people 'cause of blood lust.. and i am starving.... she rattled off to herself mentally.

"Sorry," Rain said softly, delicately scooping the kitten back up and allowing her to comfortably sit in his lap. Crysia reached out to pet Shadow's head just as Reign sat down next to them--he tried his best not to get in the way when his brother was with Scarlet--with Crimson floating on his back a couple of feet away, watching them expressionlessly as always.

Shadow purred softly and curled up on his lap, tail curled around her side, now being a very content kitty from all the attention.

Lucifer sat up on the balcony railing of the room he was assigned too and simply stared out over the landscape, Skull perched up on his shoulder.
''i so want to go back to my cabin and just go back to the peaceful days... forget everything and just... go back to before i went with everyone.. that way only i had to deal with this damn burden...'' he sighed, knowing that Skull was the only one he could talk too aside from the queen possibly listening in.
''well you can't Lucifer, what's done is done... you can't rewind time'' Skull said, a soft caw escaping his beak and feathers ruffling.
