I think it was probably in one of these years, 2005-2008, which would've made me 7-10. I first played Pokemon Red / Green, but I remember playing Diamond the most!

I got my first game FireRed, along with a GBA, 7 years ago when I was in first grade. I loved it! I remember that my first starter was Charizard and I didn't know there were hidden items back then.

Then I got Sapphire and it kinda stuck as my favorite game and generation ^_^ Third gen baby!

My first game was Blue back on the original Gameboy. My brother and I got it when it first came to America in 1998 (which I was 12). Where you could even print out your certificate from Professor Oak showing you completed the Pokedex on your Gameboy Printer. Hell I even remember seeing the 1st and 2nd movie in theaters.

Haha, same as CerberusRebel, with the only exception that my first own game was Yellow. <3 I've played Blue from a friend before, though.

I don't remember the year but I started with pokemon emerald on my brother's file and started with a swablu that I caught.

I then got my own file on omega ruby like a few months ago :P

My first Pokemon game I played was Pokemon Pearl, but I was my step-brother's. I was around 6-8 years old; 2008-2010.

The first one I owned AND completed was Pokemon Black 2; in 2012; when I was 10 years old~
...I made my icon. (My OC is on it :P)

i rmb playing blue and i was stuck at the passage beside gym 8 at the very early stage, cant really clear if for some time XD...

oh oh, i still rmb i did play gold in jap, totally dont know wat is happening but just play =D

Unlike a lot of peeps, I started out on Mystery Dungeon Blue back in 2006.. not any of the original gen games unfortunately! ^^'

My very first game was Blue, my mom had Blue and my brother had Red. I can't remember it that well, but I do remember playing Silver when it came out.

I've been one of those people who used to get all of the games the day they were released. The exception to this is the last few years because I don't have the funds to do so anymore due to life situations. However, I'm already hinting to my family and friends that I'm interested in Pokemon Go :3 So hopefully I won't be getting out of it anytime soon =3

I had unknowingly played Crystal first, but I really got into pokemon when I bought FireRed and LeafGreen when they first came out. I back tracked after that, buying the previous games and then caught myself back up-to-date on all consoles up to X/Y on the 3DS.
