Faith licked her lips as she finished eating. Her presence itself now seemed to terrify the Chaos minions, as they all tried to bolt. She captured a few with her tail and ate their life force. The Chaos minions tried firing ice at her, but she simply shook it off now that she was nourished. She ate a few more people just for the energy. Her purple eyes scanned the ranks of Chaos minions, as she surveyed whether or not there was another giant. Then answered barreled into her. She stumbled from the impact and roared at the other giant. He hit her with a mace in response, his beady eyes glowing red with anger.

"Dutch, you're with me. Regroup around the dragon. Rest of you, maintain this formation." Locke shouted. Locke and Dutch made a B-line for Faith. They shot at the Chaos ranks as they went.

"YOU KILL MY BOTHER!!! NOW I KILL YOU!!!" The giant declared very loudly. Faith rolled her eyes. "Oh please. F***ing revenge tropes are so overrated these days." She muttered, as she fired a fireball at the giant's face many of the Choas minions cheered the giant on. Some even threw ice spells at her, most of which began to cause her scaled to freeze over.

"Dutch, take down that damn giant." Locke shouted, firing at the Chaos minions who had fired the ice spells. Dutch primed two grenades and attached them to the giant, followed by two Rockets and a few 50. Cal bullets. "It's not dying!" he shouted.
"Keep trying!"

"Good idea!" Faith roared as she opened her maw and ate the giant's life force, grinning. She was admittedly enjoying it more than she ought to, but she had been starving for centuries. She supposed she deserved a feast. Her maw finally closed, and the giant was no more than a shriveled husk, merely skin and bones.

Locke saw some fallen ORION IIs some distance away. The fail-safe... he thought. He ran over to them and hefted one of their bodies. After pressing a few buttons, a keypad revealed itself and he punched in a code. He did the same with two other soldiers. "I need you to drop these bodies into their ranks!" he shouted at Faith. Dutch covered him while he did all this. "I'm out!" he shouted, throwing away his last assault weapon and drawing a pistol.

Faith teleported the three ORION II soldiers into the ranks of the Chaos minions. She was still supercharged from all the energy the wizard and two giants had given her, even if the giant was relatively young. "Done!" She yelled as she wove between enemy shots, while at the same time a path of dead corpses was left in her trail.

Three... two... one. Locke thought. Three blinding explosions erupted at the heart of the Chaos ranks. "Goodbye, soldiers." Locke said. They had taken out dozens of Chaos minions with their last action. That would have pleased them. Locke threw Dutch an Assault Rifle he had policed from one of the corpses and continued firing.

Faith growled happily as her body absorbed all the loose energy from the three blasts. She grew bigger, and her claws and teeth sharper and her eyes keener. All in all, she had been thoroughly upgraded by the energy.

As soon as there were fewer enemies, Dutch shouted "Break ranks! Hunter-Killer tactics. Engage individual enemies!" The soldiers followed his orders. "I see you've learnt something." Locke said, mowing another group of enemies down. "Well, I have a strict teacher." Dutch replied.

Locke finally snapped the neck of the last Chaos minion. He observed the battle scene. "That's a lot of ORIONs about to be marked MIA." he muttered. "Hey, Commander!" a dark skinned man shouted. "Johnson!" Locke exclaimed. "What's up? You're late!" Johnson shouted. "Oh, nothing. I just dropped by a StarBucks, got a coffee. KFC didn't work out, so we went McDonalds. Service was awful, though. That's why we're late. It won't happen again." Locke replied. Johnson had to fight to keep a straight face. "Good to hear." he replied. "So, are you sticking around?" he asked. "Yeah, we could use a place to stay." Dutch said, walking up, Assault Rifle slung over his shoulder.

Faith took flight and landed behind Locke. "Are we going to stay here or are we leaving?" She asked the soldier.

(I'm afraid that I won't be able to log on for a while- my computer is nearly out of charging and the charger has broken. )

"Yeah. " Locke said. "Let's go inside. I suppose the cargo bay should be big enough for you " he shouldered his Rifle and walked off.

(Pfft... I'm afraid I won't be active for 3 weeks, I'm going overseas and my mom won't let me bring my laptop, and my phone is too small and can't access the net.)

Faith snickered as she delved deep inside her, and she felt the power every living being contained. She began to weave a spell. She drew on her own power. She was full, anyway. She shrunk her body, and she looked like a seven-year-old hatchling. She was barely the size of two golden retrievers. Funny, really. I could just kill them all this way. She thought, looking at Locke's and Didact's power. She exited the Plane (that's what she calls doing that) and her vision returned to normal.

(Well, I'm back... on phone.)

Dutch followed Locke into the base. "We'll go to the CO (Commanding Officer) for a debreifing and then we can rest." Locke told Dutch. They both headed towards the CO's office. A few heads turned their way. They hadn't seen ORION I's before. They quickly found the office. Dutch knocked on the door. "Come in!" a man shouted on the other side. They both looked at each other, took deep breaths and entered the room.

Faith quietly waited outside. She sat on her launches and examined the surrounding area, noticing that there were nearly no escape paths. Even the ventilation was well covered, and she would bet that there would be more than a few challenges that way.

(Thank God for Wi-fi)

(You can say that again.)

Locke and Dutch both stood at attention. "Soldiers." the General nodded. This was usually the point that an officer would tell them 'at ease' and offer them seats. The fact he didn't informed them that something was seriously wrong. "I've looked at your files. You are two damn good marines. That being said, yoi're also freaks. Implanted on at the age of seven and seventeen and made to fight soldiers much more experianced. You killed two and put another three in wheelchairs." the General continued. "Thing is, you belong to us. If I turned you over, I want to see 'Property of Order' imprinted on ypir boot heels. If I say 'crap', I expect you to say 'What color, how much and where do ypu want it?' Do you understand?" Locke gritted his teeth and nodded. "Good. Your next tours are in two days. I expect you to rest till then. Dismissed." the General said. Both soldiers turned around and walked out. "That went beter than expected." Dutch laughed. "Much." Locke said grimly.

"Your boss sounds familiar." Faith muttered as she turned to stare at Locke and Dutch. "I'm going to go and assume you at least know where we'll be sleeping."

"Well, you can sleep anywhere you can fit. On the roof, in the cargo bay,in the grounds-"Locke was cut off by Dutch.
"In the ventilation shafts, down the janitors closet, up the chimney-" he was cut off by Locke, who gave his a quick jab in the chest. Dutch doubled over and fell to the ground, gasping for breath. "Anywhere." Locke said, as if nothing had happened. Dutch pointed at him and tried to say something but it came out as series of gasps.
