This is a private group RP for CometandAqua, Rini00, Finhawk, and myself. Please do not ask for an invite or post here unless your one of those listed people, thanks!
They say the possibility of a different galaxy with life is far fetched. At least, that’s what two galaxies with life forms both say! Many light years away from the Milky Way is another galaxy with a fair number of planets that are all widely spread out. The largest planet contains many different species- humans, fairies, elves, reapers, and more! They all live together in harmony and peace, all accepting each other. What else is so special about this place, you ask? Magic! The whole galaxy is filled with magic of all kind. Of course, one may say the vast amount of magic is a double edged sword. Demons- a species of darkness banished to the farther outmost realm of space. After a great team of magicians banished the demons long ago, they used the last of their lives to set up an indestructible barrier that contained the demons. But with highly advanced magic, the demons have broken through, and have begun their feasting on the many species. Fast forward a year later and roughly half the world has been taken over. The peaceful species have proven to be a great challenge for the demons, but just how long can each side hold out?
You and many other young magicians enroll in a school specializing in demon slaying. Here you learn the ways of a demon slayer using your own magic. Of course, every once in a while a real demon will attack the school, so your skills must always be sharp!

Ahahahaha!!! Finally I managed to scrape this together! >: D The time that was spent on this surely isn't showing but it's good enough for me. :p

Name: Scotteru Harken (Usually referred to as simply Scot or Scottie)

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Personality: Scotteru is a rather lively and usually positive young fella. He's the silent kid who sits in the back of the class but will gladly lend you his pencil if you ask. He's somewhat shy towards new people at first but Scot's ultimately the overly nice guy who doesn't like saying 'no', which has a tendency to make him a complete doormat most of the time. The lad's also quite the wuss but stubbornly refuses to admit being afraid whenever his scaredy cat nature is brought up and usually just ends up doing something completely moronic to prove he's not scared, which will inevitably land him in trouble. This is also exactly why he's in the school in the first place.

Magic: As a skin-walker, Scot can freely change his form into that of any animal he desires. However, he only seems to shift into a hawk, whether that's because he chooses to only prefer one given animal or if he truly can't change into any others remains as an open question.
Scotteru can also read minds. However, thoughts are usually a jumbled mess unlike speech and Scot's still a young lad so he usually just ends up being able to grasp couple of words here and there and gains a killer headache in the progress. Using this ability does more harm than good most of the time.

Appearance:
Show hidden content
Just imagine him without the hat and the headphones.

{Art by wongsy49}

Scotteru is a rather pale individual with short brown hair, a pair of greyish blue eyes and a lean body. He hasn't been spoiled with height either as he's slightly shorter than average boys his age, which makes him look pretty weak. This isn't completely false either since Scot doesn't really have much physical strength but he makes up for it with agility and speed. He's the annoying slippery bastard who's almost impossible to catch.

Other: The lad has a crippling fear of water due to almost drowning as a kid, which is also why he doesn't know how to swim.
Heights is pretty much the only thing Scot isn't afraid of at all and he quite enjoys spending time perched on trees or the roof of some tall building.

Aaaand that's that. For now. Tell me if anything needs changing though. I wasn't sure how young you were planning these fellas to be but if 17 is too old or something, just say so and I'll see what I can do about it.
Also, how developed is this planet's society exactly? I only now just realized the picture I used might not be appropriate if you envisioned it to be similar to Earth's middle ages, since I guess that's usually the setting whenever there's magic and stuff involved. A school suggest more like the modern times but I figured it was best not to assume something right off the bat. :d

((Magic has basically halted/extremely slowed down the development of technology so society is still stone houses and strange clothes :p the picture is good but Scott won't have the headphones around his neck or the cap. I did envision them to be younger but 17 most likely isn't too far off the mark so you're good on that, too. The only concern I have is how well Scott can fight; you were correct about him being everything except OP haha.))

((Ah, alright I see, good thing to have that cleared. No headphones nor cap works fine with me.

Scot's pretty much screwed on his own in the long run but I'd imagine him being a great thing to have among a group. Him and his fast feetsies work magnificently as a distraction so he's definitely a support kind of character.
Skin-walkers are traditionally known to be some level of witches as well though so if my weakling character bothers you too much, I can add some actually useful magic abilities for him. Like some basic spells and such. xD))

Name:
Tullia Casimer (She doesn't mind being called Lea either)
Age:
16
Gender:
Female
Personality:
She's generally a pretty friendly person to new people, and makes her judgements of a person after she knows them at least a little bit. She likes to be outside a lot, especially high places, and gets most of her inspiration for drawing from nature. Her favorite place to draw is the roof of houses or buildings, since she doesn't really like showing people her art. That's part of the reason she doesn't use her powers as much. She's a very sentimental person, which makes it hard to "kill" any of the drawings or paintings that she has made real. She's a pretty non-violent person, but it can get pretty scary if you get her angry. There aren't a lot of things that she's not willing to try, but she generally won't give it a second a chance once she's come to a conclusion about it.
Species:
Avian Humanoid (She's part Dove)
Magic:
Tullia has to ability to bring her drawings to life, and if what she drew was a living creature, she can control them with her mind. If she doesn't, they will either become immobile or follow some of her random thoughts, which is especially dangerous when she's angry. Once she brings any of her drawings to life, the paper with them cannot be destroyed in anyway, unless she erases the creature, which kill the creature/object, but any of the physical being of that creature can be killed in the normal way that it would be killed. Also, she can fly because she's part dove.
Appearance:
I couldn't find a good representation with different kind of clothes, so just imagine her with different clothes

Tullia has long white hair that will have some light tints of colors in some places from paint that hasn't fully washed out of her hair yet. She has a set of white wings that have a span of about seven feet when they are fully spread, but she'll normally have them tucked up against her back, sometimes under a jacket, since she has a tendency of knocking things over with them. She likes to wear colors on the brighter side. She has a pair of glasses that she wears for when she draws or if she reads, but she generally won't be wearing them. She has clear blue eyes and stands around 5'2" tall.
Pet:
Tullia has a small and colorful hummingbird that follows her around named Nio. He doesn't really like being around other people, and will sometimes just sit in Tullia's pocket until the people leave or sit in her hair like a clip, but if the person is being mean to Tullia or a person that Nio doesn't like, he'll attack and try to chase off the person. Nio will also get jealous pretty easily, and doesn't like too many people who try to become close to Tullia. He's one of the only paintings that she's kept alive, but has been enchanted, which is why he has his own free will and has been alive for nine years.
Other:
Her powers are limited to her drawing abilities and her mental state (Aka, if she's an emotional wreck, she'll barely be able to control any of her drawings).
Also, the power I made was kind of confusing to describe and seemed a lot easier to explain in my head, so if you have any questions, just ask.

Name:
Emilia (Emily) Arslan
Age:
16
Gender:
Female
Personality:
Emily is a fairly ditzy girl who is somewhat shy towards others. Because of her lack of skill with most spells and most other things, she studies very hard so that she doesn't fall behind. When she's not reading a book or practicing her magic, there's a good chance that she'll be found with one of her close friends. Due to her clumsy nature, she often finds herself dropping objects that she carries or misdirecting her spells. Despite messing up at times, she tries her hardest at everything she does so that she will not be a burden.
Magic:
Emily specializes in healing magic, and truthfully cannot seem to master any offensive spells. The exact element of her healing magic is water, and having a small supply of water greatly boosts the effectiveness of her spells. Besides spells of healing, Emily is quite masterful with Illusions. Her Illusions are hard to see through, and some even can be touched. She can only make very effective Illusions if she's calm, otherwise they'll be weak and won't be able to accomplish much. Some people believe her skill with Illusions and healing magic to be from one of her ancestors who happens to have been a faerie. She's currently studying to effectively use Summoning magic.
Appearance:

She looks a lot younger than she is, but her overall intelligence makes up for her small stature. Even though she happens to be so small, she isn't to be taken lightly. Her legs are about as good as any magic when it comes to damaging a person. Due to her slight faerie heritage, her ears are pointed slightly, although she attempts to hide them under her golden-blonde hair. Her reddish-tinted eyes and small size are also directly inherited from her faerie ancestor.

Whee~ Finally got this done! I ended up basing a lot about the character on the picture, which I believed to best represent the clumsy girl I wanted to create. Funny, huh?
All that's left is you Raku!!

Name
Yunan Suzuya (kinda just smashed the names of two anime characters there :p)
Age
16
Gender
Male
Personality
Yunan is a sociable person who usually will attempt to socialize with people he finds sitting alone. This may be because he wants to include lonely people, or possibly because of his dislike for large groups. He also isn't afraid to speak his mind, but does so carefully. While not just wandering around the school, Yunan will hang it with friends and study magic. He spends a large time studying magic merely because he’s well aware of the advancement in technology that’s beginning to occur. Yunan wishes to have a technology-free world and believes magic is a much better source for the advancement in society. But of course, besides that, he’s also studying to possibly create demon slaying skills of mass destruction to take out a large number of demons at once.
Magic
Yunan is a human not born on land, but in water. He has ena; a magic coating on the skin that shines which allows him to live underwater. This comes with consequences on land, however, as he can only last a certain amount of time on land before his ena begins cracking. Cracked ena causes breathing problem and dry skin; not very enjoyable. The ena is fixed once in water, though. The amount of time that can be spent on dry land varies from the heat in the area. Other than this coating of magic, which is pretty much useless if not a hindrance in battle, Yunan has water and ice magic. He has great offensive magic, but his lack of defensive ability has caused him to turn to dodging and intercepting.

((Looks good Chitoge~ also guys I kinda wanted to post something about post length if anyone was confused. During a normal conversation I don't mind your posts being one liners. ((I'm just gonna make the first post now, since it's been three days.))
Tullia watched as the sun started to peak over the horizon from the roof of her home. She held sighed and flopped backwards, he wings spread on the roof. She held out the drawing she was working on over her face and mumbled, "Stupid rabbits." She let the notebook drop on her face and just lay there for a few minutes until Nio came out from her room and pulled on her hair. "Owww owww, I get it I'll get ready for school, just stop with the hair," she pleaded and jumped off her room, using her wings to stop her from crashing into the ground. She walks into her room and gets ready for school. She picked out an outfit from her rainbow looking closet, choosing out a mainly blue and green outfit and her paint covered boots. She shuffled through her stacks of paintings picked up one of a wolf and tucked it into her school bag as well as the rest of her school papers and her drawing notebook. She tossed it over her shoulder and called out, "Nio, let's go!" Tullia took off her jacket as she walked outside, letting her wings spread out. She took a hop before her wings pulled her upward and Nio quickly flew into her bag so he wouldn't have to try and keep up with her. It only took her a few minutes of flying to get to the school, and she knew she was around 20 minutes early, like she normally was. She didn't try to, but as the saying goes, the early bird catches the worm. She looked around at the few kids who were already at school, who seemed to be the generally anti-social people at the school and sighed. "Well, I can still talk to you Ni," she said to her hummingbird as he flew out of her bag, "Well, kind of." She sat down next to a tree and started to have her slightly one-sided conversation with the bird, although she could somewhat understand him based on his sounds and movement.

((Oh right, Karpy told me I could make the first post but due to the quite busy few days I've had, I completely forgot this whole RP. Which might have been a good thing since I wouldn't have had time to write anything anyway and this way I didn't feel guilty about it for days. x,D Anyway, here's some kind of post for you fellas.))

Doubts, regret and second-guesses were at the top of Scotteru's mind as he glided through the air not so gracefully in his hawk form. The large bird had a quite dull looking dark brown one strapped bag secured to his back, which made his trip slightly more challenging. However, it wasn't the lad's first time carrying extra weight on his feathery back and he'd rather fly than walk either way. He merely had to concentrate a little more on what he was doing with the bag on his back. Though he was evidently not doing that judging by the occasional sloppy wing beats and the slightly irregular flying pattern.

Even though he would have had more important things to focus on at that moment, Scot's mind was occupied by the thoughts of school and the new school day he was heading towards. Now, that sounds like a stupid thing to be so anxious over, everyone stresses about school every once in a while, right? However, the fact that he was in one particular school was in fact the source of his distress in the first place. Perhaps a demon slaying school wasn't really the place for him, to put it mildly. He wouldn't have even thought about enrolling into the school if it wasn't for his sister. She joked about him not being able to do it. She told him he didn't have the guts for killing a demon. She said he was too weak, too afraid.

So of course he has to prove her wrong.

Though his determination was already wearing thin and the doubts were creeping into his head, slowly but surely. The mere idea of that all-knowing victorious smirk that would surely be plastered on his sister's face along with the 'I told you so.' was the main thing that prevented Scot from quitting. He wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of being right this time.

With the small amount of determination the boy had managed to gather, Scot managed to steady his flight to some extend just before he reached his destination, the dreaded school of demon slaying. He was bit early like he usually was, since he really didn't like being late, so there wasn't that much people around yet. Of the few, one particular person caught the boy's attention as he was flying above the school grounds. The girl stood out with her long white hair and matching wings, there was almost too much white, and she seemed to be talking to a small bird. The animal was quite tiny compared to him, cute even.

Scot had seen the girl around the school on few occasions but he hadn't bothered to direct her any further attention than the rest of the students. He didn't really know how to approach people so he hadn't even been trying lately. However, curiosity took the best of him and Scot landed on one of the branches of the tree the girl was sitting next to as quietly as he could. Cocking his head to the side slightly, the hawk peered down at the girl and her small companion with newfound interest that pushed the more negative thoughts out of his head for the time being.

((Also, I have few questions again so bare with me.
First off: What's the school building/area like? I don't need any detailed descriptions, just some kind of general idea like "A stupid looking big box made out of grey bricks with a grassy yard and a training field in the back." :p
Secondly: I'm quite curious about the demons. Do they have any particular appearance? Are they mostly humanoids, some hideous grotesque beasts, or something else? Or do they even have a physical body at all times? Also, does only magic work on them or does boring old weapons do some damage as well? If they can be killed with swords and such as well, are they more vulnerable to magic attacks?
I'm sorry if I'm being annoying here, I'm just trying to paint a picture of everything in my mind and I just wanna make sure it won't turn out completely different than what was intended. :d))

Yunan had once again fallen asleep at school. He had been experimenting with ice and fire magic the night before and he must have dozed off at some point. And Yunan knew exactly what was to come when he goes home; his mom will start flipping out because she thought he was eaten by a demon. Pushing the thought aside, Yunan greeted a few of the students at the school. There weren't very many this early; mostly those who have failing grades that need to come to school early or those who have such excellent grades they come early.

As Yunan continued to roam the halls, he looked out the window, seeing a hawk eyeing a girl. To a normal person, it would be "The hawk is preying on the hummingbird!", but of course in this world of magic that may not be the case. So he merely shrugged and walked back to where he had been experimenting the night before.

Now being a water and ice mage, Yunan's fire magic most definitely is not the best. What he was trying to do was encase a flame in ice, then provide a thin coating of magic around the flame so as not to melt the ice. He figured if he used ice in this, it would make this spell easier. It was based on the principle of the flames that fire mages use to cause explosions. Yunan wanted to do this, of course; the spell looked quite useful in battle. He could create a flame and ice to encase it easily, but moving it around in air was troublesome. And throwing it wouldn't do him any good due to his lack of aim. But Yunan continued to attempt to move it around, the light of the flame burning wonderfully through the ice.

((Questions are fine, I was pretty vague.
Actually the description you said is somewhat close to the actual building. It is a building made of grey stones that isn't too large, but is large enough to be called a school. It is surrounded by grass and there's a training field in the back that's possibly larger than the building itself. There's also a small pond on the side of the building.
Demons come in any shape and form; humanoids, grotesque beasts, even just small orbs of black. In fact there are demons that look identical to other species which just makes them more tricky to kill. Their colors are usually darker colors; red, black, etc, with a few exceptions such as those that look like other species.
Magic is highly recommended for defeating demons, but it's not entirely impossible to kill them with regular swords. It's just more difficult, though I'm sure there are people who can pull it off.))

Tullia wasn't able to hear the sound of the hawk landing on the branch near her, and she just continued to speak to her little hummingbird. "Well I'm sorry that you can't write well, but a hummingbird with fingers would be just a little weird, don't you think?" she said to the pouting hummingbird that was flying around her. Nio began to make the buzzing-chirp sound that hummingbirds make, but stopped at the sight of a hawk staring at them from the tree that they were under.

Tullia looked up at Nio, curious to why he stopped his chattering, and quickly saw that he was looking at the hawk sitting in the tree. "Oh, when did you get there," she said with a smile. She wasn't fully sure who or what that hawk was, but she could tell that it wasn't just a normal bird, and she was curious to who or what it was. She was sure that she had seen a hawk similar around the school before, but never seen anyone transforming from the hawk or into the hawk.

Nio on the other hand was slightly annoyed by the presence of another bird. He flew around the trunk of the tree before stopping closer to the branch that the Hawk was perched in, not really caring who the bird was, but only to why he was watching them, and more specifically, why he was watching Tullia. He let out a series of aggressive, but not particularly scary chirps. "Nio! Stop that!" she scolded. He pouted, but stopped his petering of the much larger bird.

Eyyy, I'm finally finding time to write out a post. It took me 2 sittings just to write this too. Sorry it's taken me so long guys!))

Emily closed her eyes and began to slow her breathing, calming herself in anticipation for the spell. She had been working in the training grounds for about an hour, attempting to successfully work some sort of offensive spell. She had already tried to cast a small spell from each of the four main elements, but all she managed to do was create a puddle, a breeze, a small rock jut out from the ground, and not even a spark or flame. Now, she was preparing to cast a small Summoning spell, only one strong enough to Summon a small elemental lizard.

She held her small magic staff out in front of her, thinking of the words for the spell. Chanting the words quietly, she opened her eyes as the spell began to take effect. A bright light formed in front of her, growing larger with each passing second. Once the orb of light grew to the size of the staff's ornament, Emily chanted the final phrase. The light grew brighter, then disappeared altogether. A small shock wave spread from the epicenter of the spell, knocking her backwards onto the ground. Pulling herself off the ground, Emily looked around the small area to see if anything had appeared. Finding that no lizard or any creature had made its way through the spell, she plopped right back down on the ground in frustration.

"Ugh!! I'll never get this!" She yelled, speaking to no one. Pulling herself back from where she sat, she walked back towards the school building. "If I can't get it now, I'll try again later. No point missing school for a spell I can't even cast successfully," she muttered as she walked.

((Alright, thanks for the info. :]))

Scot was beyond puzzled as he listened to the strange conversation between the winged girl and her bird companion. Why would a hummingbird be upset about not being able to write properly in the first place? Unless it wasn't just a hummingbird, like he wasn't just a hawk. However, he couldn't figure out what this bird was no matter how hard he tried and he didn't even get to try for long. The large bird completely froze on his branch as the smaller winged animal went silent and looked straight at him. He shouldn't have even hoped he would go unnoticed.

The stock-still hawk relaxed slightly when the hummingbird's humanoid friend decided to smile at him instead of just staring. Though he still didn't know what he was supposed to do with the attention now directed at him nor did he have any idea how he was supposed to respond to the girl's question. Maybe he should pretend he was just a stupid bird, it didn't sound like a too bad idea. However, he suspected the girl wouldn't buy it, no person with any common sense would.

His pondering was cut short when he suddenly spotted the hummingbird flying upwards around the tree trunk and stopping suspiciously close to where Scot was. He flinched violently when the small bird suddenly let out a series of angry chirps at him and Scot hopped few steps along the branch just to get a tad further away from the pissed off bird. The sight must have been comical, a large hawk scared of an itty bitty hummingbird. The hawk himself wasn't really concerned whether he looked utterly ridiculous at that moment or not though. He was merely relieved that the girl had ordered her rabid pet to stay put. Well, maybe it wasn't rabid but Scot sure was happy it wasn't harassing him anymore.

With one quick wary glance at the hummingbird, Scot turned to peer at the girl on the ground again. He was pretty much busted and he didn't want to be a total douche either so it was most likely best he got off the tree and stopped hiding behind his feathers. The hawk hopped off the branch, transformed during his descend, and landed smoothly with practiced ease on his human legs.

As graceful as his landing had been, there was nothing graceful in his posture after that. With his shoulders hunched, trying to appear smaller than he was or possibly wanting to disappear altogether, Scot seemed to find the ground very interesting while he nervously rubbed at the back of his neck. The lad stole a quick glance at the winged girl before he finally opened his mouth to speak, "Sorry, I was just... uhh..." He was just what? Spying on her from a tree like a creep? The lad didn't really know what he could say that wouldn't come out wrong so he just settled with repeating himself, "I'm sorry."

Maybe he should have just flown off when he had the chance.

Yunan walked around to the training fields. Perhaps a more open space would be better for the spell he was practicing. As he walked onto the fields, he heard a girl yelling, but by the time he got there she was already walking inside. Yunan just shrugged and began the spell. Certainly he was able to create more of the flames encased in ice, but moving them around was still an issue. Just to make sure that this even worked the way it should, Yunan shot a small bit of water at one of the ice. The flame inside the ice exploded and many tiny ice shard flew around. One of them pierced Yunan's skin, causing bleeding, but oh well. The explosion was quite loud, he'd have to work on how to keep it quieter with a small amount of sound magic later.

"If one must spill a small amount of blood for success one must do so, I suppose." Yunan muttered. He then attempted to move the remaining ice around. He actually was able to move them around better in an open space, however practice was still vital at this stage of the game.

Tullia was slightly amused by how scared the hawk appeared to be by her aggressive little hummingbird, and the it's relieved look when she stopped Nio. Especially since there was no way that Nio could cause him any actual damage, besides maybe a little bite. His bark was way worse than his bite. Although the lack of confidence in the large bird made it very clear that it was not a hawk, or even another animal, since there was no way an animal of that size would act afraid of a bird of such a minimal size.

She watched as he made an elegant transition from the two forms and landed on the ground, but instantly reduced himself to a hunched over and clearly unconfident form. She scanned the pale boy quickly, keeping his general appearance, a pale boy with short hair, and matched it with the impressions she was getting so far. It seemed at that moment he regretted even being there. Sure it was a little weird that he was watching her, but it didn't seem like he had any bad intentions from it, nothing she could even make herself be mad about. If anything he was just curious about the weird conversations she has with Nio, who was an enigma to most people to whom don't know about what he is.

"Calm down, I'm not going to bite, I swear," she said gently, in the way that she would speak to calm a scared wild animal. "And I'll make sure this little brat won't bite either," she added with a bit of a smile, until Nio pulled at her hair with his beak, "Owww, bad Nio!" She pushed him with her finger, not wanting to hurt him but still getting him to stop. She quickly turned her attention back to the Hawk-guy that was still standing there. "Oh, but you know, watching someone from a tree with a bird that's moving around the tree will generally get you noticed," she stated in a very matter-of-fact way, even though it was obvious that she was joking.
