@kainbunny only problem with that is that people are obsessive over it and buy dragons not caring what they look like just to exalt them with in seconds of buying them

Exalting is also there to prevent server lag.
(I did some reading on it when I got on site)

When they expanded the total number of lair slots one could own, they mentioned that exalting creates a way for more server space (someone asked why we couldn't just have infinite spaces).

An exalted dragon takes up less space on the server, since it no longer needs info like summary space, hunger stats, or battle stats shown on page.

Besides, what else would there be? Pokeheroes has a release feature, and you can't even see those pokemon again when they are released. At least on Flight Rising we can still see the dragon, its name, and where it went.

Plus, the lore is hilarious. Especially if you go on twitter Stormcatcher likes to talk about all his "employees" (or exalted dergs) a lot.

-Edit, employees are the players. But he mentions the dragons working for him from time to time

@Nessy Lore is pretty funny xD Stormcatcher is known as Bossman and that makes me laugh everytime. During when Wind was pushing with Lightning, Wind made joking feeds about how dragons should be given to Wind because we give them noodles and food and hugs and don't make them work all day like Stormcatcher. Plus they get to play with Corgis all day! >w<

If you don't want dragons to get exalted, try selling them above 8k?
15k to 7.5k was a big jump, and a few of those dragons could have easily been sold at 9-12k surely.

See like I was saying, any time I sell above 10-12k it's a bust while around that range they're up just as long. I kind of just give up since no one ever wants to buy what i have.

@Kain, if you want the female pearl so bad, message the user and offer above what it was sold for. They'd make profit and you'd be happy.

@Nova Don't worry! It happens a few times for me. I put dragons at 11000 and at 7 days. I still get around 10000 and they most likely will sell if you put them at 7 days. However, 1 day is a really short amount of time.

I always put them at 7 days and they won't sell.-. That's why I give up. It's like I have a giant anti-attracting magnet on me that keeps people away;;

@hailey But how do you know she saw it? Maybe she went to sleep? How do you know exactly she saw it? It's just that I've had a user basically message me about a dragon I bought and was going to exalt. I had no idea she wanted it back, and I would've gave it to her back, but I was asleep. I didn't get to those mails until after school, so it was a long wait. Maybe she just didn't see it? You're not being rude. If you'd like, I have a dragon I could give to you to trade back fr the dragon you want? He has an exalt gene bonus.

@Nova That's sad ;w; Maybe then exalt them by yourself? I always exalt my own dragons if they won't sell. I want to send them off personally to my deity.

@hailey But there's reasonable doubt right? Maybe she made a quick purchase and went to shower? You don't know. Wait a day or see if she exalted it. If she replies, then that's your answer. Ask if she is willing to trade for another exalt fodder. I have a bunch. I could give you one. Also please don't use that face. I feel as if you're personally trying to attack me with that face... Sorry. It's how I view things. You're not being rude, I'll try to help you get your dragon back.

Guys, I have a slight dilemma. I really didn't plan for any of the holidays in the thread to overlap, but in 2016, the First Day of Spring (Spring Equinox) will happen while we're already open for Easter. I don't know how I feel about being open for two holidays at once.

Below I explain how everything is going to work.

The way I have it set up right now is that we open for a certain holiday, Easter for example, 10 days before the actual holiday. This gives customers time to pick out couples they want us to breed, hatch the nests, and then if there are any left over babies we have time to put them on display and hope they sell. We close two days after the holiday is over.

I'm going to put all of the breeding couples' mating data grids in a post I reserved, and then have the active ones for the current holiday be in another post. I'll have them all clearly labeled. Users will request a breeding couple to be bred and they will get first pick of the babies. If they don't answer and choose which baby to buy within a certain amount of time, other users can pick. If a user asks to be put on a waiting list for a couple, they get second pick.

I always forget that spoilers don't work there how the do here- I was planning on having all of the dragons we have sold there be in a spoiler so people could get a feel for what we are putting out, but spoilers there just turn text black and you have to highlight it to show it. I might end up putting a sold slot on my Diary here and just linking it in the shop.

Please palpad me if you have any questions.

So, suggestions? Should I have it open with two holidays and just, like, try it out? I feel like it might become too cluttered and confusing, but you don't know til you try I guess.
