It had been a while since Latios, Gardevoir, and Serperior had continued their journey, and it was now nighttime. Suddenly, the Soul Dew began to glow a bright white. "We must be getting really close," Latios said excitedly.

"Why?" Ferrugo and Aggron asked, not quite in unison.

Lightning flashed and a beam of light shot towards the sky. Rayquaza swooped down, only to immediately be struck by a Pixilated Hyper Voice.

(Rayquaza is Level 100, and Gardevoir is Level 50. Despite this, with the EVs I have chosen to give them each, Rayquaza will, shockingly, be taken down by a maximum of three Hyper Voices. O.O I used a damage calculator.

Also, before I reply, is Serperior saying that to Latios, or Alakazam to Ferrugo and Aggron?)

"I'll go, too!" Aggron agreed.

(Remember that teleporting a group takes longer than teleporting oneself in this RP.)

Remember what I said! You can use Protect! Gardevoir said through telepathy while preparing a Hyper Voice.

That could potentially be nice, Gardevoir said frantically as Rayquaza turned to use Hyper Beam. Gardevoir had already charged a Hyper Voice and was unable to use Protect until he launched the attack, by which point he would already have been hit by the Hyper Beam. His only hope was that Hyper Voice would be strong enough to counter Hyper Beam and protect him from the majority of the damage. He fired the Hyper Voice.

(No matter what happens, Gardevoir is going to take at least 89 damage and at most 154, even with Hyper Voice to counter the majority of Hyper Beam.)

(Not possible. Protect is a self-affecting move. Alakazam can jump in front and use Protect, but his Protect would probably break before it can counter both Hyper Voice AND Hyper Beam, so that's probably not the best idea, either. ^^')
