In that case, I'm not going to help you turn back into a Servine, Gardevoir said. Latios, I am sorry that you hurt your wing and took us this far only for Serperior to dramatically complain about how I'm such a terrible boyfriend and leave, simply because I shouted when she didn't tell me that my life was in danger right after I saved hers.

Oh, come on! Gardevoir said. You think it's okay to not tell me when I SPECIFICALLY ASK for information like that - Why did Rayquaza leave? Why shouldn't we go? - until the SECOND TIME? I didn't wait for you to ask twice to take a Hyper Beam attack that could easily have killed me if I hadn't used Protect to shield part of it. It's a lot easier to SAY one important thing than it is to save your life when I had no idea if I would even survive.

Somebody else who you're going to get rid of as soon as you get yelled at for ENDANGERING THEIR LIFE TWICE? Somebody else who you're going to ask to marry you the NIGHT YOU MEET, and then try to GUILT THEM INTO IT by going outside and WEEPING when they say no? Somebody else who you're going to complain to? That's not how telepathy works, you know, Gardevoir said. You'd think that, after pretending to love me for this long, you'd notice that it goes straight into your mind. That's the whole reason I can still use it despite being muted by Arceus.

I've never once pretended, or I wouldn't risk my life to save you, Gardevoir pointed out. Every Pokémon in the world can use Protect, unless you're a Caterpie, Metapod, Weedle, Kakuna, Magikarp, Ditto, Unown, Wobbuffet, Smeargle, Wurmple, Silcoon, Cascoon, Wynaut, Beldum, Kricketot, Combee, Tynamo, or Scatterbug, and you had a lot more time to send it up than I did. You could quite easily have saved yourself and not made Rayquaza knock me unconscious for two days, but I helped you anyway.
