'You realize, that you can always use telepathy, right?'
Galadriel asked, as she teleported behind Sauron, only to loose
another barrage of magical arrows. She saw Skye, in the corner of
her eye, surrounded by Mutants, fainted. A step brought her next to
the Mutant, as she threw back the Mutants, some of them
disintegrating on the spot. She was frankly getting tired (and a
bit irritated at Sauron).
Galadriel closed her eyes, as she felt magic headed at her. She
opened her eyes again, as they glowed white, and absorbed the
bolts, transferring their energy to her allies. Skye's wounds began
to heal slowly. Her wings were still broken. Galadriel honestly
doubted they could ever heal.
Damn me, right? Okay, Quill is the fastest here... by far. He
could run circles around Sauron, maybe putting in an occasional
blow, but mainly for distractions. That leaves the rest of us to
attack him. Skye can exploit joints and other weaknesses in his
armor with fireballs. I'll keep using my weapons. You can use
telepathy to tell is what he'll do next. the Didact thought at
Galadriel. He hefted his Incineration Cannon off the floor.
"Agreed?" He asked out loud. "If so, I'm counting in you to tell
the others."

'Skye is out of commission. Someone' She glared at Sauron.
'Broke her wings. Which means even if I can get her to wake up,
she's not going to get into the fight anytime soon. She mainly uses
her wings to control the fire, and I honestly don't think she can
do it with her wings in such a state.' Galadriel said. 'But
I will see if I can wake her up.' She added, as she told Quill
the plan.
Galadriel left out the instructions to contact her. She had two
telepaths bonded to her already. One of them was mortal. She
definitely didn't need anymore. Skye was quickly woken up with a
burst of magic.
"Galadriel?" She tried to open her wings, but almost cried out in
pain. Galadriel put a hand over Skye's mouth. Sauron was getting
near.
"Skye, please, calm down. Calm down. Good. Now trust me. This will
work out. We'll all walk out of this alive. Okay?" Skye nodded.
"Good. I need you to fire as many fireballs as you can at Sauron.
Please, Skye, be careful." Skye nodded again, tears forming
in her eyes. Galadriel knew how it felt to lose a limb. She had the
same feeling when Nenya faded.
"Tell her not to stress it. We don't need any more casualties." The
Didact said. He fired three shots from the Incineration Cannon.
"What do you want to get out of beating us?" He shouted. "If we
don't kill you, someone else will." Keep me posted if he's gonna attack. he thought at
Galadriel, eyeing his armor integrity on his HUD. It was at twenty
percent and he knew an audible beeping would go off if it fell
below fifteen.

'Well, for your information, he's going to summon a few bonds of
mirthril to bind you. And unless you can exert approximately five
to seven tons of force, you are not getting out of them.' Skye
deadpanned at Didact. 'I'm a telepath too, remember? She taught
me a bot about it.'
'Didact, dodge. To the left.' Galadriel said, as beads of
sweat formed, as she kept her mind secure, while at the same time
invading Sauron's mind. Normally, she would refrain, but since it
was Sauron the Valar wouldn't care. 'Skye, now!'
"Right!" Skye said, as she thrust her arms and fireballs flew out,
hitting Sauron's face and irritating him.
Galadriel thrust her arms out, as a barrier formed between her,
Skye and Sauron.
The Didact rolled to the left. A millisecond later, three pillars
of mirthil shot out of the ground. Coming out of his roll, the
Didact fired the Incineration Cannon once and then used the mirthil
as cover as the Cannon recharged. Anything else I need to
know? he asked.

'I my predictions are correct, the Ringwraiths, or
Nazgul-'
'Actually, they are called Nagzul. But do go on.'
'Yes, those. There are nine of them. One's probably going to
appear behind you in a few second.'
'Right. Didact, go front, avoiding a back stab, then go left to
avoid Sauron's annoying mace. Oh, and watch out for Skye's
fireballs.' Galadriel added, as she saw Skye fire two more
fireballs at Sauron.
Thanks. The Didact ran out of cover, avoided a fireball,
rolled under the mace and landed himself behind a desk at perfect
flanking position. He checked hisI
Incineration Cannon's charging and fired two shots. Before Sauron
had a chance to see where they had come from, he ducked behind
another desk, three metres away. Do the Nazgul have any
weaknesses? We really don't need to be in a harder situation than
we already are. He checked his armor integrity. It had fallen
to nineteen. He had probably hit it too hard in his roll.

'Nope.' Both Skye and Galadriel chorused at the same time.
'At least, not that we know of' Galadriel continued.
'Also, mace. From above. It seems that Sauron is going to crush
everything within his sight.'
Tip no. 10: Remember... S**t Happens. The Didact thought. He
rolled out of the way as the mace came crashing down. "Dead yet,
Didact?" asked the Uda- Dedox part of the Sauron. "Not yet!"
shouted the Didact. He avoided another blow from the mace and made
a runner across the room. What next? He asked. I don't
see any Nazgul... but I'd rather not tempt fate right now.

'Yes, well, then stop doing it!' Galadriel snapped, as she
looked once more into the future. 'Also, stop running.' She
said suddenly. Skay was busy shooting fireballs at Sauron's weak
spots, but she was tiring out.
Stop running? asked the Didact doubtfully, as Sauron
approached him. Aren't there easier ways to commit suicide?
He emptied the charging of his Incineration Cannon into Sauron, but
stayed in the same place. Sauron bore down closer on him. Tip
no. 2: Always follow orders, no matter how idiotic they seem.

'See?' Galadriel replied to Didact. 'It was a good
move.' She waved her arms, as bolts of magic shot at Sauron,
annoying him and reminding the Dark Lord of her presence. 'Also,
now would be a good time to shoot him some more.'
A truck? Might as well have slammed the Approach into him and
been done with it. He thought, emptying another charge into
Sauron... and then another... and another. Say, about when does
he get back up? he asked Galadriel.

'Well, calculating how much force hit him, and how needlessly
heavy his armor is, and how many rounds you keep emptying at him, I
would say a few seconds from now.' Galadriel answered.
'Also, stop wasting your bullets. You'll need them.'
I don't use metal slugs, I use energy bolts. My weapons harvest
energy from the surroundings. Suddenly his Cannon stopped
charging. He retreated a fair distance from Sauron. Refer to Tip
10. Guess the surroundings ran out of energy. I have five shots
left. Thirty five times five is one seventy five. That's one
seventy five more chances I have to kill him. What now? he
asked.

'Honestly? I don't know the future is always uncertain when it
concerns him. But if I had to guess-' galadriel was cut short
as she suddenly stood up straighter, up to her full height, as her
eyes glowed. Sauron had extended hos full might against the Elf.
Neither could move. They were locked in a battle within their
minds. Skye readied fireballs. She knew how these battles
worked.
"Didact, don't kill Sauron! You'll kill Galadriel too!" She said.
"Then what am I meant to do, stand here and wait for one of them to
die?" Asked the Didact. He kept his weapon trained on Sauron. "What
if he wins? Then this moment of weakness would have been wasted."
Tip no. 6: No shame in living to fight another day. "Is
there anyway you can tell her to withdraw so I can blow him to high
hell?" He asked.

"Eh... Not very likely. If they're both locked in a mental battle,
there's nothing we can do, except interfere and try to win against
Sauron in one. And I have utter certainty that we won't do that."
Skye said, shrugging. "Of course, if she withdraws, then her mind
will likely get torn to rags."
Suddenly, the battle of wills stopped. Galadriel slumped to the
ground, as did Sauron.
"Correction: you can blow him up now." Skye muttered, as six
fireballs appeared, and fired at Sauron. Galadriel shakily stood
up, as she summoned her own bolts of magic. The pristine white of
her aura was tainted with black.
The Didact fired three of his five remaining shots. One hit
Sauron's knee joint, one his arm joint and one full on in his face.
The resulting mini-bolts showered him more or less everywhere. "You
can go check on Galadriel. If he gets up, he gets disintegrated."
The Didact told Skye. "Believe me, I'd like nothing more than
killing him." The Didact carefully noted the energy of his other
weapons, not taking his eyes off Sauron.
