Galadriel raised her eyebrow, but didn't say anything else. Suddenly, a horn sounded and she could hear choppers. Bullets flew everywhere. The wards she placed on Skye protected her. Didact had his armor. Quill was nowhere to be seen.
"Arch Angel is coming." She whispered, as she exited the vision. "We have, at most, fifteen minutes to go and disappear. The Apex is following close. We will be surrounded. I will go and warn Skye. Will you come with us, or strike out alone?" She asked, before teleporting to where Skye was.
"Wake up. Arch Angel has arrived."

The Didact called the Approach which flew over. He got into it and turned around. "Are you two teleporting, running or coming with me?" He asked. Without waiting for a reply, he got in but kept the boarding pad open.

(This is what the Mantle's Approach looks like. Approx. 41.6 metres)

Quill jumped when the horn blew, he knew it was nothing good.

"Murphy, in here, NOW!" Quill urged Murphy. Murphy jumped into his bag and closed the bag from the inside. Quill looked at Galadriel and Skye, and said "I can Take them off your trial, I will be a distraction, Okay? Keep Murphy save for now." Quill, in a flash, gave the bag to Didact and ran out of the house.

Quill saw everything, the choppers, and the sound of the bullets. "Hey!! yooooowho! Over here! Catch me if you can!" Quill ran and knocked some of the people with guns down and avoided every single bullet with ease.

The Didact slung the bag. He looked back at Skye and Galadriel. "So are you coming or not?" He asked them. He pushed a few buttons and said something. "Thirty seconds to dust-off." The AI informed him.

Quill had managed to avoid all of the bullets, distract the shooters and unarm their weapons. He also sent them deeper to the forest, away from the others.

Quill looked back and said "Had enough?" Quill ran back to the shed, but from a chopper, a sniper was loaded.

"Target sighted. Taking aim and firing." The man on the sniper said, and shot at Quill. Even at the speed of sound, Quill was shot on the arm. That didn't bother him. He kept running and stopped at the where Didact, Galadriel, Murphy, and Skye were standing. "Help..." Quill said when he arrived, holding his arm, where he got shot.

"Get inside! Quick!" Galadriel urged everyone into the Mantle's Approach. Skye didn't hesitate, and stepped in. Galadriel looked back out at the approaching enemy. Arch Angel. There was a dozen ships, and two or three dozen choppers. She wove her hand and a burst of magic knocked at least four choppers from the sky.

'Get in, quick! I can't hold them off forever!' Galadriel shouted into Didact's and Quill's minds, as she stopped a few bullets from killing them. She spoke some words in Elvish, as a white barrier appeared and Nenya began to glow. The barrier expanded, as the ships and choppers were pushed back.

Quill jumped in and then shouted at Galadriel "Get in!" Quill saw a bullet get aimed at Galadriel, so he ran at Galadriel and moved the bullet from hitting her. He then ran back into the Mantle.

(Reference: Quill has the same ability as Quick Silver in X-Men: Days of future past and to move bullets easily.

"Thanks." Skye whispered to Quill after he ran back into the Mantle. Galadriel followed soon after, by teleporting into the Mantle. 'The barrier will not hold. Even I cannot keep this up forever.' She said to Skye, who nodded.

"Get some rest, Galadriel. I know Elves don't need sleep, but you've just used a lot of magic. Don't deny it, I know it's true. Now, shoo! I'll go and find Didact."

Quill quickly grabbed Galadriel and put her back into the Mantle. He then ran at a tree, went up the tree and jumped into the Chopper. Quill got the pilot out and sent the Chopper crashing into the other men. Before the Chopper crashed and blew up, Quill ran out of the Chopper and ran into the Mantle.

"Impressive, right?" Quill said as he smiled.

"Five... Four..." The AI counted down. The Didact got in and stood by the controls. "Dust-off." The AI said. The ramp closed and the ship lurched into the air. "Engage autopilot, pop sparks, fire heat-seekers and generally give anyone following us a bad day." Commanded the Didact. "Affermati-"
"Scan for possible safe-spots."
"Scanni-"
"Put heat signatures up on the main view."
"Diverting f-"
"And for the Hierach's, keep the speed above two hundred units."
"Copy."
The Didact turned around. He looked disapprovingly at Quill's shot arm. "The medi-packs are over there. Take all of the components from one of them, left to right. The injection goes straight into the wound. Seal it up with the bio foam." He said, jerking his thumb. He turned to Galadriel and Skye. "This Arch Angel..." He asked. "Does it have any weaknesses?"

"If you count being on a lower technology level than you, and being made of one hundred percent human as weaknesses, then yes." Skye said as she shifted through Galadriel's bag. Galadriel herself had decided to enter a waking trance in the corner, restoring her magic. Skye growled as she took out a few bottles. They were marked in Elvish runes, and she didn't know how to read them. "I don't suppose you know how to read Elvish?" Skye asked Didact.

"Very fundamental. Nothing more than 'hello', 'bye', 'thank you' and 'get the hell outta my face'." He said, waving away the question. "So, it's hundred percent human. Should just turn the Approach around and shoot it outta business." His hand hovered over a control. "But something tells me it won't be that simple." He drew away his hand.
"I'm picking up multiple missiles."
"Did I, or did I not, tell you to pop sparks?" Asked the Didact. "You did, sir. Just thought you might like a heads up."
"Thank you, then." He sighed. "Now I see why they call them Artifical Intelligance." He muttered.
"I heard that." Responded the AI.

"Well, alright then." Skye said. "Would you mind if I have a look around you ship, Didact?" She asked. "I won't touch anything, of course." She added, after a while.

'Skye, don't test his patience.' Galadriel warned. 'And you should probably tend to Quill first... though considering your attempt at healing yourself, I probably should be the one doing it.'

The Didact considered. "Just stay away from the control panels." He said, observing the heat signitures on the main screen. He issued a stream if orders to the AI in his own language. A few doors opened leading away from the bridge. "And stay out of the cryo bay. I have some dangerous criminals in frozen sleep and the last thing I need is you thawing them out."

"Noted." Skye said, as she walked out of the control room and into the door on the right side. There, she followed a long hallway lit by red lights, which she assumed were neon lights. Of course, knowing that this was technology from another world, that probably wasn't the case. She made a note to ask Didact later on.

The Didact frowned. "Give me a system rundown." He said. "Cryo bay:online. Energy reactors: online. Thrusters: online. Weapons system: online. Secondary AI: online. Escape pods:..." The AI paused. "Escape pods:offline." The Didact nodded. "Divert as much power as you can spare. The Approach is tough, but not invincible."
"Copy."
The Didact sighed and continued observing the main screen. He pressed the intercom button so everyone aboard the ship could hear him. "If anyone's hungry, follow the green lights. They lead to the mess hall." He spoke into the intercom. Then he released the button.

'Wait, are you telling me that Arch Angel is still firing at us? Or are you going to head back and shoot them all?' Galadriel asked, as she exited the trance she had been in. Replenishing energy did not take long, but healing wounds took some time, sometimes even for centuries. "I will go and make sure Skye doesn't melt anything." She said, going after the mutant.

"It's still firing at us. So far, no hits taken, but I can't be certain it'll stay that way. I would increase the speed, but I really can't spare the power right now." He said. "And I could turn around and destroy it... if you want."

(I dunno. Destroying Arch Angel in just a few posts would come under 'OP' in my books.)

(Oh, that? Don't worry. Three dozen ships and choppers isn't all Arch Angel is made of. In fact, it has roughly a billion men under it, not to mention some of the most brilliant scientists in history, thanks to a particular time-travelling mutant who they killed after doing their dirty work. Not to mention robots, futuristic technology [as far as humans go anyways] and all that BS)

"Feel free." Galadriel shrugged. "Though if you are talking about the organization itself, that might be a little hard. It is a multicultural organization, with more than two hundred branches. The source of it itself lies in..."

'Skye, where is the main source of Arch Angel?
Skye facepalmed. She didn't even know how to reply to the question.
'Just think about it very hard. It will require less practice as time goes on.'
'California.'

"Oh, okay." The Didact said. "Bring us around on a slingshot course to California. Make sure our path goes through that battle cluster. Engage scanning beams." He ordered. "Bringing us around, sir." The AI responded. Soon there was a slight rumble and a lot of sizzling noises. "Confirm destruction."
"Confirmed."
"Any breaches?"
"No sir, the shields absorbed the blasts."
"Good. Personally, I've wanted to go to California for a while. Just the small matter of me living a few billion light years away and that I'm an alien." He said, turning around.
