"Yikes! Your horse name is Midnight?" Cassius was surprised, he
thought they wanted to see the stars at midnight.
"Awkward!"
"I supposed to tell you we should watched the stars at midnight."
Cassius suddenly chuckled.
"I didn't know you're horse's name was Midnight. ... My bad,"
Cassius said, awkwardly.
"Awkward!"
"Oh. So you don't have a siblings. Well, ... I have sibling. But he
left us, before I was born. He was a teenager that time. I think he
is now in New York," said Cassius.
"I don't know why he move. My parents didn't tell me why he left to
New York. But, they only tell me that he just left the town, while
I was in the mother's womb. He didn't come back home. ... I guess I
have no time to find him. He's happy where he is," said Cassius.
Evangelina was saddened that he didn't even get to meet his
brother. She could sense it was a difficult subject. So she walked
over to him and gave him a hug. "I'm sorry. I know I didn't do
anything about that, but I feel bad that that was how things ended
up. If you do ever want to find him, I'll help you."
Instead of watching them, Cassius released Evangelina from hugging
him.
"Hey, are you a pervert? Watch your manners, you. You supposed to
be a gentleman, not to urge her to hug. That's immoral. More like,
you..." Cassius does gesture. "...controlled her. You have to
behave." said Cassius.
Ben grew quiet and glared at Cassius, "At least I don't kidnap and
try up women like you, Confederate."
"Ben!" Evangelina gasped, "You will apologize to Cassius right now
or I will ask my father to have you switched to another unit! He
already doesn't approve of you following me around. He won't stand
this type of behavior from his men."
Evangelina stood in front of Cassius, making herself a shield. Even
if she was a very short and small shield.
Evangelina looked up at Cassius and sighed. She stepped out of his
way, only because she knew he could handle it and Ben would tease
him if she continued to stand there.
"I still don't hear anything, Ben," she glowered at him.
"I will not apologize to him. He isn't worth it or your time," Ben
scoffed.
"Cassius, I think I've had enough of this jerk. Can we go some
where more public? I would like him to make a fool of himself there
instead of here," She asked, turning to go back to the main part of
camp.
Ben yelled after them but Evangelina was too mad at him to even
care what he said.
"I'm sorry. He gets really jealous about everything. No matter how
I tell him I'm not interested, he is determined to pursue me," she
sighed. "At least in camp, the others will see what he does and
then he can't invent some lie."
"Yeah! Ben is really handsome, in my opinion, though. But," Cassius
whispered at Evangelina. "Ben is really in to you. Nut he really
needs to change his personality."
"Ben is in to her. He will do no matter what for Lina. But, he
really is annoying and mean. If Ben is unlike the Ben of today, he
will get many girls to come near him."
"I don't really need a revenge nor a combat. If somebody does that
to me, I'll never do it," said Cassius to Evangelina.
"Lina, I think you're the only person who change my personality.
You're also the one who make me smile. You're the only one who
makes stuffs I didn't do, while I was in Baton Rouge. Thank you,
Lina.
"Well, now that playing with Midnight and the other horses is out,
what should we do? My father still has to get things ready before
he can get someone to escort us home," Evangelina smiled. Then she
realized what she'd implied. "That is if you do want to go with me.
I didn't mean that- you don't have to..."
