This is a little place where you can purchase Serphins. What are Seraphins, you ask? Seraphins are a mysterious group of magical creatures. They come in many shapes, sizes, colors, and patterns. Seraphins come in many varieties, each vastly different from another. No two Seraphins are alike! They tend to look most like many earthen animals, though they have several notable differences. Here, you can bid on available Seraphins, as shown below. Sometimes, there will be previews of Seraphins to come. Auctions will usually last from several hours to a couple of days while another Seraphin is prepared for auction. Enjoy your time in Seraphin Grotto!

Skyhorses
"Skyhorses are quite similar to sea horses, aside from the fact that they fly. Skyhorses often have difficulty flying, due to their only possessing one wing. Skyhorses often wrap their tails around that of their mate's to make flight easier. Most Skyhorses seem to travel in pairs, whether their flight partner is their mate or otherwise. It is speculated that they travel in pairs to increase their flight skills and to help to evade predators. It is also noted that different species of skyhorse prefer to fly with members of their species." ~ The Secret World of Skyhorses
Caprifels
"Caprifels are perhaps one of the most perplexing species of Seraphin currently known. They appear to be some sort of mix between a capricorn, a fox, an otter, and perhaps an eel or salamander. Caprifels are generally timid and shy, but males during the mating season can become somewhat aggressive." ~ A Beginner's Guide To Seraphins
Serpei
"Serpei are one of the rarer species of Seraphin found in Seraphin grotto. They are identifiable by their glowing antennae and crests. Contrary to popular belief, Serpei do not have eyes, and are actually completely blind. The reason that people typically believe that Serpei have eyes is due to the illusion caused by their antennae lights hovering over where their eyes would typically be. Serpei instead hunt by using their antennae to sight out their prey's auras." ~ Common Myths About Seraphins
Preenwings
"Preenwings are a very proud and vain species. About the size of a peacock, these marvelous avians love to display their vivid colors and plumage. When presented with a reflective surface, these seraphins often become engrossed with their reflections, sometimes admiring themselves for hours at a time. However, these creatures are now rarer than they have been at any other point of time, mainly due to poaching. They are often hunted due to their beautiful feathers, and are easily caught by any traps including mirrors." ~ Rare and Endangered Seraphins
Lotoises
"Lotoises are perhaps one of the most intelligent species of reptilian seraphin. These uncommon beauties have adapted to grow a large lotus in the center of their shell. They are in a symbiotic relationship with their lotus, which grows with them as they age. The lotoise will provide food and nutirents for the plant, while the plant provides cover from predators, emitting a toxic fume when threatened. These stunning creatures can live up to over a century if cared for properly." ~ Rare and Endangered Seraphins
Tigreths
"Tigreths are perhaps one of the most dangerous species of seraphin known to man. With their sharp horns and claws, poisonous stingers, and razor sharp teeth, these ferocious predators are truly a force to be reckoned with. These creatures are difficult to tame, but once domesticated, these seraphin can become the most loyal companion you've ever had. These seraphin should be left to experts, as handling these majestic beasts poses quite a challenge." ~ An Adventurer's Manual To Seraphin
Mistborne
"Mistborne are fairly rare, believed to be created in violent storms or severe weather. These creatures are an extreme pain to capture, as they are able to become gaseous with ease. Centuries ago, they were believed to be storm spirits, as they are nearly always followed by bad weather. Excess power that these creatures release can be harnessed as a free and conveinient power source." ~ Rare and Endangered Seraphins
~ Legends ~
Moonkoi
"These soaring fish are one of the most sought after seraphin ever recorded. It is told that moonkoi only appear over purified lakes during the full moon, and are rarely seen even under the right conditions. For a period of time, these seraphin were even worshipped due to their mystical healing powers and amazing scales. There have only been about seven recorded captured moonkoi, about half of them vanishing overnight." ~ Legends and Spirits

~ Breeding Corner ~
How does breeding work? Well, you can place two Seraphins of the same species in the breeding center for a price of 30k per offspring. Once you have received a Seraphin egg/offspring, your Seraphin will be removed from the breeding corner. Breeding also increases the chances of getting rarer Seraphins, though inbreeding does the opposite. Inbreeding will sometimes result in stunted and deformed young, so it is highly recommended to avoid. When breeding, there may also be a slight chance of a random mutation, causing your seraphin to look radically different from its parents. You and another user may also breed your Seraphins of the same species together if you want as well.
