True, Steven is Half human so he has a actual body unlike the gems, their bodies are illusions like Steven sang in his Happy birthday song to Amethyst on "So many birthdays"

I've seen comics where that happens, too- Steven poofs and somehow Rose Quartz comes back.

We think if Steven poofs, Rose will come back but Stevens body might too??? Like he would come back as a human. We watched this theory video and we agree with it. It talks about in Steven's Birthday he might not grow any more. They also talk about the book episode with Connie (I'm too lazy to look it up lmao) that Steven likes the book ending. This is what it said in the best way I can remember:
"Like the end where they find a spell to turn him (the falcon) into a human so he marry Lisa"
So he might poof and Rose will come back and Steven's would come back human or he would want to be a human so they find a way to remove his gem and Rose will come back

That is an interesting theory! It would make sense, too. I wonder if Diamonds can fuse, though? Maybe we'll find out once we've seen more of them on-screen.
