Troy: Man, I hate to break the news to Maddie about Joe. He blacked out from the coughing, and to make it worst, it's his age. The resistances in his body is becoming weaker and weaker by the day, and-Agh!

Snake: Don't worry Troy, we got Joe. Just tell Maddie about what's happening with Joe. *Clams Troy down*

Troy: Well. Just keep him alive, will ya'? *Walks outside to head home to tell Maddie*

Snake: Well, I hope one of you guys know about health, because I don't know jack about his case here.

*Outside, Shard lands next to Joe's workshop*

Shard: What's happening to Joe!

Snake: What the-!!!!

Gold: Shard, this is our concern here.

Shard: Well, it's mine as well! *Walks towards Joe* Hmmm....*Scans his body* It seems that he got a sickness in his lungs.

Snake: So, what to do now?

Shard: I know what to give him. Watch over him. *Walks outside to get the medicine*

during the moment of the blackout joe is in his own memory of the day 3 years ago.during the 2nd battle of mobius.as joe sonic and sonia reaches the wall a cloaked figure attacks the trio in which joe defeaed them as they went to find eggman. innidently the wall was rigged with a ticking tombbomb joe tried to save them but it explodes before he could in which joe couldnt defend himself for a moment and gotten stabbed at the lower chest.

maddies head over to joe's workshop as shard comes back and with nicoles with some medicine as joe finishes the memory holding onto the bodies of those he lost in which he carries with him to this day.

Shard: It's Shard, Snake. Also, yes. Even Nicole got some as well.

Nicole: *Pours a liquid into a cup* I hope this works.

The fumes from the liquid medicine is so strong, that even Joe, while blacked out, notice it.

The results were clear. Spark's memory on that very moment was focus on that day in the Red Empire, during what was known as the Freedom Games. One key moment was him (Spark) is on the ground with a bloody cut on his right arm. Downed, he tried to grab his sword to get Troy. However, Troy decides to leave Spark behind. As soon Troy was rewarded his exile from the Red Empire, his memory then flashes to when he part of a secret police force that clears any of dissent in the Red Empire. As reported, the thing Spark said before he just left was the same thing he said before a mission: "I think we will be busy later on."

Before exposing anymore information on his secret police career, the scanning ends with the result of a threat in our hands. Joe wasn't trustworthy with the results, thinking as if it was some kind of mistake. He restarted the scan with Spark's given memory, only to find out it ends up with the same results.
