"well it actually quite simple the joe you saw was just a holo image which was the bomb to distract baras but inorder to make it look like i was permantly gone i made the troops care the empty hover coffin as i was the bomber"he takes the ear pieces out"also i was the one to point out the ruins " he smiled.

Meanwhile at the ruins of the Dark Empire, Sinstar has been reappear on Mobuis. He looks around, and notice something is wrong. He is lack of any powers what so ever.

Sinstar: Uh! But how! *Wonders around the ruins* Those traitors...My time will come to rise...But not soon. For now, I shall rebuild myself and then my glory.

A month or two when by after Baras' demise, the new defense system is nearly complete. Ever since then, everything seems very peace-even more so than the last 20 years. With no word on the Eggman Empire, or the Dark Legion itself. But the relationship with the Neo-Freedom Fighters and the Red Empire surprisingly all-time high, with the leaders on both sides letting good of their conflicting ways. But for now, it doesn't mean an alliances has been made, or a defense plan in case of a new threat, but a truce.

Cyan and Dodger has been part of the Expedition Team during these times. Some finds where ancient relics of civilizations past, others were much more contemporary. But one find left a mystery in not only with the team, but with the Freedom Fighters themselves. It was a emerald that seems to be powerless, and it's shows no signs of dark energy, but what could be of this is still a mystery.

Meanwhile in Joe's workshop, with the finding of this mysterious emerald, he study it as well. At the same time though, he is reconstructing a Metal-Unit that seems to be destroyed nearly 20 years ago. Rusty, outdated, and dead, the unit itself have the same design as Metal Sonic, but with one difference: the left arm is a particle cannon. But it seems that the center piece of the unit is missing. And that's when things come together.

at the expedition site a trooper comes to cyan"sir i think we found something you will need to see sir" it points to a heavy plated robot being lifted out of the ground carefully

Dodger: Whatever it is, it's pretty dated. *Looks at it carefully* It can't be from the Eggman Empire, can't it?

Cyan: I'm not sure what it is. We should head this oversize tin-cap to the base to find out.

the transport heads off to joe's workshop. he has his glasses one as he fixes the artifacts up and studies them. "this model reminds me of metal sonic i wonder what ever happened to him.... i know sonic passed away so long ago but if sonic passes away did his metal counter part go too?" he hears the transport land and he heads outside.

As Joe heads outside, the metal unit begins to move slowly. And then turns it's head to face the outside. While that, the unit tries to grab the emerald.

Meanwhile all that was happening, Cyan tell Joe about the large robot.

Cyan: I think you will need to see this, Joe. *Takes him to the machine*

the robot is landed on the ground and joe takes a look at it."these must have been those "destrpoyer droids" baras wanted to rebuild" also let me show you something"joe and the others goes inside and see the robot is awake and about to exit but joe activated a ion shock feild that shuts down it's systems for a hour.

Cyan: Ah. Those Destroyer Droids maybe hiding something to prevent the one's that Baras almost use. I like that. By the way, how's that studying of the robot you doing over there? Anything yet?
