In Ember Town Jon was eating dinner happily until There was a knock on thedoor.Jon opened the door.It was Professer Song.Professer Song asked Jon if he could o to her lab.Scorpio and Iris were waiting for Jon to come to the lab.

Iris and Scorpio grew impatient as the clock ticked each second. Their friend Jon was late yet again. \r\n"How much longer?" Scorpio asked, He was obviously bored by just poking things at the professors Lab. Iris just shrugged in response and calmly said, "Hey, don't ask me.....I'm not Jon in the first place. Who knows what he must be doing" She resumed her attention towards her magazine. \r\nScorpio shot his head backwards and sank in his seat, he murmured something that was not completely understandable, "I know that fool since he was a child....He's probably eating or changing his clothes right now or maybe even on his way" Scorpio and Jon had been friends since forever. They are close, so close that some people mistake them for being brother's. Not to long ago Iris had moved to Ember town and the three of them were inseparable. \r\nNow at dinner time time professor Song had called them for what reason?\r\nStay tuned to find out.........

I was about to EXPLODE! what took Jon so long? my patience was being tested at levels you could hardly imagine until Iris looked at me and questioned about her picking a starter. So that was what she was worried about......
"Sure Iris that sounds like an awesome starter.....but shouldn't we wait for Jon?" this was the first time I sounded right yet wrong at the same time, Iris looked disappointed and started to pout like a three year old, I felt guilty because of the lillipup face she made, Me and Jon fall victim to it every time.
"On second thought I'll pick one to, Jon deserves to be the last one to pick for being so late" I crossed my arms and looked like a genius for a moment.
My reply made Iris's face beam up and she quickly snuggled with igglypuff. I scanned the table where there was only one Kriketot and another pokeball placed, it was probably empty "Alright let's see.....which one? Maybe I'll chose kriketot? that's the only one left" Just as I was about to grab Kriketot in my arms, I felt something in mid-air.
I looked confused and turned towards Iris who was busy admiring her first Pokemon.
Something grabbed my shoulder, I was sure that the lab was haunted.
I was about to scream in horror....but was stopped due to a pokemon appearing right infront of me, It was a meloetta.....and she looked happy and excited.
"Hey there girl!, what's wrong?" I starred deep into it's eyes and patted her head to gain her trust. She looked nervous and grabbed my hand.
"Is something wrong with it?" She shook her head and lead my hand to the pokeball I presumed was empty. I realized that she wanted me to grab it,
"Do you want to be my Pokemon?" Meloetta nodded and a smile placed on her face.
"OK girl! I choose you as my starter!" Iris looked up at me and smiled as I was playing with meloetta.

Iris was getting all pumped up and excited, to be honest I was too, but that still doesn't mean that we go of battling after just introducing ourselves with the pokemon. Plus I wanted to wait for Jon, Late or not he was still my friend and I wasn't going to let myself enjoy my first battle alone.
The more the merrier....am I not right? which is why I was itching to ask Iris and Jon to have their first journey with me. Imagine just us three exploring the world together and meeting new and exciting things.
The Professor sounded pretty urgent on the phone, maybe he wanted to give us a task or some important quest....who know's?
Iris was ready to attack my meloetta, my pokemon was ready to battle but I stood right in front of her and calmed her down, Then turned my attention to Iris.
"Woah, woah, woah...calm down now! we just received our pokemon and maybe they aren't used to commands like other well-trained pokemon, and let's not forget we haven'y even asked prof. Song yet on what was so urgent! Let's wait a little longer" I wised up as usual.
"Where are you Jon? If you don't come soon Iris is gonna eat me!" I spoke to myself and sweat dropped at the sight of meloetta, igglypuff and Iris pouting in a corner....Why do I have to be right?
