Sphere of Control: Fear (If she decides to become a warden.)

Abilities: She can cause hallucinations of her targets greatest fear. The more afraid they are the more powerful she becomes. When she gains enough power she can make the hallucination a reality. Other abilities include telepotation, an EMP field, and quick recovery from wounds. She also has the rare ability to mentally control weak, or willing, minds. However it takes a lot of energy to convert someone, and will leave her without her other abilities for a short time. The life forms she cotrols are comonly reffered to as Proxy.

History: Liana was born the only child of the royal family of the planet of Pentorach. Her mother died a few months later, leaving her in the hands of her uncaring father. He secretly despised her, blaming her for the death of her mother. Because of this she spent much of her earliest years around the Menolians, a race of human like creatures used as slaves by the Slendurian people. In reality, this was one of the best things that could have happened to her. These kind and gentle people taught her things she would never have learned from her father. They taught her to love, to be merciful, to give freely. Those were the happiest days of her life. Until that day. That day when she first felt the brutality of real world. A group of Menolian freedom fighters tried to start a global uprising. They did not succeed. Instead they brought about the total annihilation of their people. No mercy was shown, no prisoners taken. Only blood and fire and death. The cruel slaughter of her only friends led Liana down a dark road of hate and bitterness. It was at this point that her father finally decided to notice her. He found that she was no longer the carefree child he had hated. She was dark and consumed by anger and fear. He knew she could be molded into whatever he wanted her to be. So he took her far into the country, to a training school normally reserved for the males of the species. Female Slendurians are normally far weaker than males, meaning they were given no training in battle. Liana quickly shattered this stereotype, crushing even the strongest males in physical combat, and far outpacing them in metal exercises. She trained there for the next sixty years of her life, before returning to her home in the royal palace. Her father, still being unsure of her abilities, entered her in a global competition of fear. Slendurians prize the ability to strike fear into the heart of an opponent above all else. She swept through the competition, soon making it to the finals. She and her opponent, a male from the other side of the planet, entered a room together alone. After a few minutes, Liana exited. The boy was carted off to psychiatric care. For winning the tournament Liana was named, "Face of Horror". Slendurians do not have last names. Instead they are given a title. This title is determined by their crowning achievement. At last Liana had proven herself to her father. Their relationship was one of mutual respect rather than one based on love. She soon grew to trust him, and would tell him everything. Whatever he asked her to do she did without question. He was proud of his daughter to no end. And once again, Liana was happy. Then came the call. The horrible pull of the beacon. Liana's father knew what it was immediatly. He had heard tales of the Atifacts at the end of the universe. Items of such great power, if one were to have them all, they would be as a god. He became obsessed with the thought, and demanded that Liana retrieve the Artifacts from their hiding place. At first Liana begged him not to make her leave, pleading for him to find another to go. But after he explained that only she would be able to find them, she relented. The only thing she took with her was her mothers necklace, a small pendant made to look like the royal crest. After many months of travel she has finally arrived at the gates of the ruins.

Other: Has a terrible temper, which makes potential friends stay away.

Appearance(s): Similar to my avatar, but taller. (I couldn't find a photo describing what I'd like, and I'm too unskilled to draw my own.)

Abilities: Superior physical strength, the ability to shift into another species.

History: Dakar can't remember any memories except for those that extend for about 40 years. (She basically can't remember half of her life.) However, in those 40 years she has been tricked, robbed, and attacked more times than she can count, as people usually underestimate her because of the fact that she is physically a teenager and is very naive. From this, she learned that most people are not to be trusted, so she set off for a physical and mental ideal alone.
(Sorry for the low-quality history, I'm typing this at 4:30AM while drinking soooo much caffeinated drinks)

Other: Dakar is still comparatively young for a wyvern. Thus, she is very naive and can be tricked easily.

(Actually I do. I've been reaaaallllyyyy busy though x.x Dakar, are you applying for like, evil, neutral, or ally? Because typically the only way a non-Chosen/Warden can interact with the other characters would be a( be an enemy, b( be an outside ally, c(or something else.)

Sphere of Control: (If Chosen/Warden.) Elements (periodic table elements, not air water earth and fire, which by the way are too mainstream xD

Abilities: His skill is elemental manipulation. He can shift the atoms in a chemical compound and change its composition, thus changing one element to another. (e.g. He can manipulate two oxygen atoms and bind them with another one creating water out of the air. He can also change his skin-which is carbon-to platinum if need be.

History: His life was pretty normal: he was alone at school, friendless, bullied, abused by his parents, those kind of normal things.

One thing he did not deem normal though, was his fascination with chemistry. He never really knew the reason behind it though, but he feels at home in the chemistry lab at his school and the periodic table feels like his friend. He was always attached to entropy, atoms, enthalpy, equilibrium, and all other chemistry subjects you can think of.

So maybe, that's why he was chosen.

Ummmmm let me try to remember

ok, got it. Raeyn destroyed her own conduit, thus destroying her own limited immortality and passed out. Viper saved her with some weird potion thing, then was locked up for the paranoid Wardens' amusement. Raeyn wakes up, orders her release. Thiria overhears and demands to come along to check if Viper's intentions are really pure. Viper proven not guilty, released. Liana comes along and is currently entering the Ruins. Raeyn runs away from the infirmary and curious Wardens and is alerted by an NPC Gravity Warden that there's a meeting at Arcane Fountain, and asks her to take her there. They get shot out of the air by a currently unknown force and they land nearby the battlefield. Viper and Drake catch up with Raeyn, who FOR SOME REASON CAN MANIPULATE THE DARKNESS WITHOUT A CONDUIT WITHOUT SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUSTING (to be explained later.....). Also the shadows are a little red. yeah. Liana comes along, Drake and Viper take defensive stances and whatnot cuz yeah Slendurian. Liana then introduces herself and we're left on that because I'm procrastinating.

Abilities: can control fire, most typically uses flame whips and fireballs. Can create flame walls, as wide as 5 feet, and a ring of fire up to 50 ft in diameter.

History: One night Stein sat on a lone mountain outcrop, gazing into the starry sky. Hearing strange whispers as the wind kissed his ears. A strange feeling overcame him and he ran home, his twin brother was there. As he came closer to his home he saw a faint glow I the sky, orange cast against the dark blue. It could have been a beautiful sight had he not set eyes on the house. His home was engulfed with flames, with reckless abandon he ran into the house and found his brother. He grabbed him, hoisting him up on to his shoulders, and began to reduce him. As he was leaving a bean fell and hit his left arm, perms they scarring him there. Once he was clear of his home he sat his brother down, and began to weep. His brother had died well before he got him out, the smoke killed him, he was also badly burned. As he wept, he sat holding his brother and staring at the burning house.
Morning crept up, the house long ago left smoldering, he buried his brother, making sure to grab a keepsake, his brother favorite hemp bracelet, singed but still held together. Without knowing where, he began to walk. The strange noise on the wind again.
He wasn't sure how or when, but he came upon the Ruins, and was told he was chosen. When it came time to pick his sphere, he could only think of one, fire.

Having been a warden many many years now, his pain for his lost brother is gone, but he still yearns to find out why the fire was caused. He had investigated after becoming a warden, and found no signs of a conventional fire.

Other: Shy, prefers to be alone. Will help others willingly and without pause, but, once done he will not linger. He isn't very trusting of others.

Username: Viper

Character Name: Aqua

Gender/Sexuality: Female

Age: twenties

Species: Supposedly, human

Chosen, Warden, or something else? Warden, for four years

Appearance(s): She's usually not that creepy, but expect something like that if she's angry. Normally, she looks a lot more friendly and less creepy. Her main weapon is a staff.

Aqua generally uses whatever she wants, literally. She has no limit to what she wears.

Sphere of Control: (If Chosen/Warden.) Water

Abilities: As a warden, Aqua mostly uses ice-based attacks such as icicles, because water isn't really that destructive. She likes using icicles, freezing her enemies solid, etc. She can breathe underwater, and is known to become stronger faster and heals underwater. Especially fresh water.

As one of her kind, however, she can 'reach out' when meditating and in a battle, to temporarily link her mind with others. They are not affected when the other dies or blacks out, as it is a temporary link. She can communicate telepathically, and read other's minds, although she seldom does so. She believes that everyone deserves their privacy.

History: She used to live with Viper and Pyre, travelling her homeland as fugitives. However, when Archangel (a group of elite who hates their kind) finds them, she sacrifices herself in order the let both Viper and Pyre escape. However, she is then found by a group of people who took care of her. They were magicians, and they healed her.

They taught her many things, including what she actually was. Unlike Viper, she has made peace with who, or what, she was. When she hears the call, she says goodbye to those she met in the village and leaves.
