On the pal pad you should be able to respond if your not on someones friendlist if they have that for their settings. This only applies if they message you first then you get one message to send back, if they message you again you will have the same exception.

Well first that's what the Private Messages are for and second people have the Pal Pad for only friends to reply to not get annoyed by someone... if what am saying is wrong then I don't understand what your talking about... So no support am afraid.

I am saying that if they ask you something because of a favor you did i:e sending a plushie, they will pal pad you saying thanks, and you might want to say your welcome but you are not on their friendlist.

Perhaps something better - If someone with the setting "Friends only" palpads someone not on their friendlist, there is a little warning or something

"user is not on your friendlist and can't respond!"

Or something

kind of like that, Harkness, maybe they can choose if they are able to respond without adding them, because you might run out of room on your friendlist and have people who bug you so you can't put it on friends only
