i was so close to winning that year... but it was all for nothing, i couldn't go home, i got kiled and that other district kid won! he was a jerk!!!!! she mentally screamed, teeth gritting as she threw her long sword into a nearby oak sapling, tear's now streaming as she buried her face into her knee's and sobbed.

''i sure hope that, that idiotic district kid get's killed in one of the other game's, cause if he does i'll get my revenge...!'' she said through gritted teeth and stood up, almost standing at five feet ten as she walked over and grabbed her sword.
she looked about sixteen year's old, but she felt like she was fourteen still, which she hated that now that she was stuck in this [it ain't a swearword i promise XD lol, i also just got up a little bit ago...]endless hell ridden hunger game's.
madeline was in the twenty-third annual hunger game's and almost won until a district five kid that she had allied with and felt safe with as a friend betrayed her, though she knew she was dead either way, and so she died fighting.
''if he revive's as an endless fighter like me and other's, he'll be dead once again with my wrath!'' she yelled, swinging her sword and chopping the tree sapling right in half in her anger.
(quick little extra form for a second character lol, hope chu don't mind waffle.
Name (with last): jackson bane(i'm just coming up with a random name here.....)
Age: 16, looks 19.
Appearance: kinda tall, short spiky ebony black hair, copper brown eye's, camo hoodie, black jean's combat boot's, a golden chain necklace with the same mockingjay charm(gift from madeline and he feels terrible about betraying her).
District: 5.(Electricity/power i guess, i once again googled this up XD)
Weapon (of choice): a sword that can split into 2 sword's.(like what zuko had in avatar the last airbender)
Gender: male.
Talent: brutalization.
Other: won the 23rd annual hunger game's, got killed for rebelling against the president.)

she sprinted fast enough and climbed up a tree, then continued to jump from tree to tree at the same speed she had sprinted.

And a note that most tributes can't actually jump from tree to tree. It's a rare skill unless it's the district of lumber...]
Jade nodded, and leaped onto the ground with her posture and position in perfection (like her lumberjack dad had taught her). She walked into the eerie-seeming, damp cave that was in the curse of silence. Never would she have hesitated to walk into a cave at home, but this was the Hunger Games. The Gamemakers could rig it to be her last destination.

her foot slipped and she yelped, grabbing onto the branch her foot slipped from tightly and just hung there, shaking from the shock and fear of killing herself from falling.
''okay... okay, not my best effort, but i'm still trying'' madeline sighed, looking down and seeing it wasn't that far of a fall.
she let go and dropped down, rolling a little so the impact didn't hurt her leg's as much.
jackson was sitting on the edge of a cliff, looking at the mockingjay charm on his golden chain necklace.
he never was the same after winning the twenty-third annual hunger game's.
i'm so sorry maddie.... he thought in complete guilt, clutching the charm in the palm of his hand.
he betrayed the one person who trusted him, and he hated himself for it for a very long time.

jackson sighed and got up looking around.
''okay.... now where should i go next..'' he asked himself.
he heard rustling nearby and turned around, unsheathing his sword and waiting.
who had walked out of the brush shocked him to the core, making him drop his sword.
madeline stared at him and was reaching for her sword, the look of shock in her crimson eye's turning murderous.
''you!'' she yelled in complete rage, sword instantly unsheathed and held to his neck, holding him at sword point at the cliff's edge.
''maddie, look i'm sorry! i-i truly am sorry alright?!'' he yelped, holding his hand's up.
''you betrayed me.... i trusted you and you betrayed me!'' she screamed, tear's swelling up in her eye's.
jackson gulped and just stared at her, the guilt he had sky rocketing once again.
''madeline... i never wanted to kill you, i swear i never meant too, but what else was i supposed to do..? the game keeper's probably would have sent those mangy hybrid hound's on both of us.... and there would have been no winner'' he said calmly.
madeline thought for a moment.
it was just a stand off to see what would happen at this point for him since he was the one held at sword point and a cliff behind him.

''you... your still wearing that charm i made for you.....'' she mumbled, her tone of voice shaking a little.
jackson looked at the charm that was hanging from his chain necklace and looked back up at her.
''yeah... i never got rid of it maddie.. i've kept it ever since that day, and i've regretted everything i've done.... but this charm's the only thing that reminded me of what i did, and it was the only thing i had to remind me of you'' he said, his gaze evened with her's.
jackson slowly raised his hand up and carefully grabbed the blade of the broad sword she had and moved the point to the side, stepping forward and taking the sword out of her hand.
once the sword had been taken out of her hand, she wrapped her arm's around him and hugged him tightly, tear's streaming now.
he looked down at madeline and hugged her back.
''i don't want to be killed again...! i just want to go home..!'' she cried, knowing that her only friend left was jackson bane from district five.
''and i don't want to lose you again... i won't let anything happen to you.....'' he promised quietly.

Failing to keep steady, she carefully put every step ahead of her knowing it could possibly be her last. Nothing but the hollow echo of her footsteps in the cave made sound. The brunette (although it seemed closer to black) hair of hers slid into her face, and she realized she had been clutching her sword as hard as possible. Leaning against the wall, Jade released the breath she had been holding. Then, in the midst of the quiet cave, Jade swore she could of her a crack-like sound. Her instincts told her to get out. Jade rushed towards the exit of the cave, when a soaring pain rushed through her leg and possibly could of cracked her bone.
The cave had collapsed.
The unbearable pain crawled up from her leg and made her bones feel like they were being cut to slices by a saw, and then grind slowly by a sharp but not very helpful shovel. And Jade could feel all of it. Her skin felt like it was being tightened in flaming, sharp-edged wires. She wanted to scream in agony, but that, with her luck, would lead to her being killed by a slowly-killing, torturous brute to lead to even more agony. Her cannon didn't fire and Jade stayed awake. All she could do was wait for Nellie as her leg was being crushed under a boulder.

madeline and jackson both looked over in the direction a sound of a cave collapsing came from and they both picked up their weapon's, running as fast as they could to where the sound had come from.
they skidded to a stop almost right in front of the cave and seen that the cave had indeed collapsed, but almost crushed a tribute.
madeline didn't care if she might end up losing her life to the tribute for saving her, but she knew she'd do some good in this dreaded place.
she walked over and used a sturdy branch and tried to use it as a fulcrum, using some other rock as leverage.
jackson when over and used brute force to help get the bolder to move.
''we save your life, no one die's alright?'' she asked, staring down at the girl that had the bolder on her leg still.
jackson and madeline both were trying real hard to get the bolder to move now, using all their strength.

''maddie, drag her away from the bolder quickly!'' he said, straining as she left him to hold the branch.
madeline grabbed both jade's arm's and carefully dragged her out and away from the boulder just as jackson's arm's finally giving out, letting the branch go and the bolder falling back down into it's place.

''we mean no harm...'' he said calmly, his copper brown eye's showing no fear sense he had already faced death so many time's before.
both of their mockingjay charm's were in plain sight, but neither of them seemed to care.
