Ichigo looked up at Takumi and said "This is my only set of clothes, I only make new ones when the one I wear is too patched." She brought Hikaru over to a little shallower area so she could stand and said "Okay, now lay your stomach on the water, kick your legs and circle your arms like your scooping the water. I'll hold you up until you can hold yourself up."

Takumi nodded before speaking. "Where we come from, we change clothes every day. If you don't take care of yourself, where I'm from, it can be fairly easy to get sick, and if you get terribly sick, you could die. So we make sure to change clothes, keep ourselves healthy, and what not." he stated with a shrug. "It's just something natural to us. Especially if you travel a lot like we do, then you want to stay clean as possible."

Hikaru nodded and laid on his stomach, trying to imitate what he'd seen her do earlier. He started to move his arms and legs but somehow ended falling face first.

Lein stood up and smirked his usual grin. "Well, for me its just easier to swim. The fur always bogs me down enough, so I don't anything else trying to pull me under." He watched calmly as Ichigo started to show the Shinx kid, Hikaru, how to swim. It was almost nostalgic, remembering back before he could swim, when his mother had to show him how not to electrify all the fish pokemon. Wincing just slightly at the memory, he began to float peacefully again. Until he heard Takumi, that is.

"Ugh, it stinks to get sick around here, but it's nothing too terrible. The Audino and Chancy generally take care of everyone," he commented. "You guys better not have brought some icky diseases in..."

Ichigo looked up at them and teased "Yeah yeah you guys just make your excuses for stripping. Hikaru didn't 'need' to and I have plenty of fur too." She looked back down to Hikaru and giggled a little "Don't just plop over you have lay on the water," she explained and moved her hands over to his stomach, "Now try doing the motions instead and I'll see if I can let you go."

Hikaru nodded and started to try again. He'd learn how to swim! Then he'd work on forcing Rei-neechan and Akane-neechan to swim with him. Even if Rei-neechan was a fire type gijinka!

Takumi laughed and shook his head at Lein. "No, if anything we'd sick because of being here. Our immune systems aren't used to the air and types of food here. Just because we have the same type of berries where we come from, doesn't mean they're grown in the same type of soil. So it's possible we could get sick from being here."

Ichigo looked up still in the mood to tease him. "Sure sure whatever you say Takumi," she stated sarcastically and grinned. She saw Hikaru doing well and she slowly moved her hands away without him noticing. "Good job Hikaru your doing in on your own," she said a lifted up her hands. She swam up next to him just to make sure he would be okay.

Takumi shrugged. "You have a different ground then we do, so our bodies aren't used to it. If me, Artemis, or Seya get sick, you know why." he said before diving under water again. He grinned. He was actually having some fun here.

Hikaru grinned, trying to swim a little faster. He laughed, as he continued to get it right. "This is fun!" he laughed, splashing one hand on the water.

Ichigo stopped following Hikaru and let him swim on his own. She watched him swim slowly but, pretty well considering it was his first time. She remembered she should probably check on Di and She was sure the berry pill was running low by now. She sighed and swam over to Takumi and Lein and said with a sad voice "I need to go restock the berry pile and see if Di is back from her training. I haven't had this much fun since I was pup." She quickly kissed them both on the cheeks before quickly getting out of the pond. "Now I'm going to wring out my clothes so no peeking or I'll slit you neck," she said half joking, "Watch Hikaru and make sure he doesn't drown." She ran off quickly a little embarrassed by what she did.

She went deep in the trees and looked around to make sure no one was around and wrung out her clothes and quickly put them back on. She trotted over to the camp happily and stopped when she saw Di all beaten up and was curled up against the haunted place. "Di are you okay? What am I saying no your not. You need spicy berries and an Audino and oran berries and your wounds need to be treated!" she said over dramatically. She ran over to what was left of her berry pile and brought some spicy berries to give her and ripped a piece of her still wet clothing to clean some of her wounds.

Lein smirked. "Heh, shouldn't have told me. Now you've got me tempted~" he muttered as he watched the Eevee leave. However, he wasn't a total perv. Obeying the oder, he remained soaking in the pond, glancing over every so often at the Shinx.

"Hey kid, doing okay? Don't tire yourself out where it's deep, you gotta make sure you can swim back out," he warned lazily. Suddenly, something bit his tail, and he stood up quickly. On the end was a mean looking Carvanha. "Really? That's just annoying," he told it, before prying it off and giving it a warning shock before dropping it back into the pond.


Di was barely awake when Ichigo came up. "Heh, I'll live," she told the frantic girl. "Guess I bit off a bit more than I can chew. Thanks." Accepting the Cheri berries, she took small bites to keep her tongue from setting itself on fire. "Ugh, would have made it back fine if it wasn't for that stupid Charizard... Made it all the way to 39." She smiled, but there was no way to tell if she was in her right mind. "J-just eleven more levels... Told you I'd make it, mom..." Well, there's a probability she's still in her right mind. Could just be talking to her mom's ghost? "Pass the water, mom, damn berries are too hot..." Nope, never mind. She's just gone. Tired as all heck and pretty battered, she found her blinking slowing as she started to fall asleep.

Takumi snorted as he listen to Lein, before following his example and looking over at Hikaru. "You alright kid?" he called over. He knew Ichigo would kill both of them if they let Hikaru drown. Heck, Rin would kill him before Ichigo even knew it happened. He snuck a glance at Rin to see the shiny Luxray already giving him a hard stare. He gulped before quickly making his way towards Hikaru.

Hikaru grinned. "I'm fine!" he laughed. "This is fun!" he cheered, swimming in a small circle. "This is tons of fun!" he cheered, as he continued to swim around Takumi in circles.

Ichigo freaked out some more when Di seemed to pass out or sleep. Ichigo gently tried to wake up Di just a little bit. "Di stay with me here, I need to treat your wounds and I want to take you to the lake to do that. If you could just climb on my back or something you can sleep the rest of the way. I need to make sure your wounds don't get infected or it could get bad," she said frantically. She tried to lean over so Di could get on her back or Ichigo could try to push her onto it so she can get her to the lake or to an Audino.

Artemis and his dragons were returning to the abandoned building, each carrying a handful of berries, and considerably more cheerful than earlier when they were starving half to death. However, Artemis's smile fell when his eyes rested on Di, who seemed to be either sleeping or unconscious, and Ichigo, who was doing...Artemis had no idea what. Although whatever she was doing, she was doing it poorly. The group approached the two gijinkas.

"What's going-" Artemis stopped as he realized that Di was badly hurt. Ichigo must have been trying to carry her. He simply sighed. The Deino girl sure knew how to get in trouble.

"Let's get her onto Palla's back, then we can find somewhere she can rest properly." He paused, as he remembered that Ichigo probably hadn't been introduced to his team, yet. "The Salamence," he stated. He moved towards Di to try to pick her up.

Rei sighed as she remembered what Akane told her as she ran back to her pack. 'Great...' she thought sarcastically. 'Just what she needs. Another excuse to get angry at them.' she thought with a grunt, as she continued to run towards where she could smell the others.

She skidded to a hault by the lake and her jaw dropped at the sight of Takumi, Lein, and Hikaru. Swimming! "Hikaru!" she called. "When did you learn how to swim?!" she cheered, walking to the edge of the lake.

Di was way too far gone to be woken up, much less to protest being helped by a human. Without a bit of healing, she was ready to sleep for a good 12 hours. However, it was partially a blessing. Totally zonked out, she didn't even dream. Since the humans showed up, her mind always seemed to be on the worse case scenarios. The last time she tried to sleep a little, she had terrible nightmares.

And for the others, it meant she had no way of knowing (and by nature of the beast, getting more POed) about the new human arrival. Likelyhood? If Seya and Di came face to face without any warning, it would end badly for one or both of them.

Lein laughed at the ninetails girl. "The Eevee, Ichigo I think, just taught him. I think my cousin over there taught him the electricity control, though." Just to be annoying, he winked over at the female Luxray again. "He's been doing pretty good. I know how you fire types are with water, but you're welcome to join us." Swimming backwards, he found the edge of the lake and lounged in the shallow water, supported on his elbows and forearms.

Ichigo looked at Artemis and nodded. "I wanted to get her to the lake so I can clean all her wounds and so she can drink. Here I'll help you get her on Palla," she said quickly and helped lift her onto Palla. "I'll show you the way and I think I saw an Oran berry bush somewhere back there," she said even quicker and started walking the way she had just come from.

Rin growled at him, glaring as she swam farther away from him. 'He's an idiot....' she growled to herself, ignoring the group that was gathering on the other side of the water.

Hikaru grinned. "Rei-neechan! Rin-chan and Ichigo-chan taught me how to swim and not electrocute any fishy pokemon!" he called out.

Rei giggled at the boy before rolled her eyes at Lein. She sighed and went behind a tree, striping off her dress to reveal a type of bikini made of the same fabric her dress was. Her nine tails fluffed up, and curled around her, some resting on her shoulders. She grinned stretching all of her muscles before she walked out, and headed back towards the water. She smirked at Lein. "I may be a fire type, but I love a good swim." she said as some of her tails flicked behind her.

Lein smiled at the Rei when she returned. "Heh, well you learn something new everyday," he shrugged. Without warning, though, he went from his relaxed float to standing, sending a sudden splash at the girl. "WATER FIGHT!" he declared, quickly ducking under and swimming fully immersed to avoid any counter splashing. Finding the human legs, he came up from behind and splashed even before he could see, his long hair hanging in his face. When he shook his head, water flew and his hair clumped together, no longer in his eyes but still sticking to the sides of his face, forehead, and nose now.

Smiling like a goof, he nearly forgot he was there strictly on secret guard duty over the human. Of course, he kept one eye on the kid still, and made sure the human wasn't doing anything stupid. But c'mon, he could still have fun.

Ichigo looked back at Artemis and waited for him to come but he didn't move. "If you aren't coming I'm going to take her on my own," she announced and gently brought Di onto her back. "I'm going to the lake to treat her wounds then I'm going to find an Audino. She got Di on her back and used her a lot of her strength to start running towards the lake. She found 2 Oran berries along the way and was going to give them to Di when she woke up. She finally made it to the lake where everyone was playing in the water. "Can I get some help cleaning Di's wounds," she said completely out of breathe. She put Di down gently and stood back up but was wobbling weakly.

Rei grinned, before ducking under water, and silently heading towards Lein. She made sure she was behind him before grabbing both his legs and yanking them both down, pulling him underwater. She smirked to herself, before turning around and using her tails to propel herself farther away before coming back up for air.
