At the berry name, Di dove into the pile of spicy berries. Finding a Ganlon, she sat down and munched on it with a look of ecstasy on her face. It was like heaven... Quickly, she snagged a few more to plant in one of the loamy spots she knew of. Berry plants would grow quickly there, and usually produced more than she planted.

When Ichigo mentioned the new human, she stopped mid-chew and looked at the haunted place suspiciously. Neither the new girl nor Artemis had come out yet, and she was really suspicious now. ((me:OH DEAR GOODNESS WUT?! YOU DIRTY MIND DI! Di: *smacks me*)) "If you don't like her, then I know somethings up. Sableye are strong pokemon. They don't have any type weakness. If something went wrong with her, it could take a lot to stop her. It looked high level from when I saw her walk in..." she shifted the berries in her lap, no longer hungry even for these things. How dare a human take a pokemon that clearly disliked them! Or worse, what if she was plotting... No, she couldn't jump to conclusions. Last time that happened, it ended badly for a pokemon. Looking over at the Typhlosion, she finished her berry and stood up. "Keep an eyes out for her, and watch all the humans. There's nothing saying she isn't just the worst actor among them. I think I should get back to training. I'm only level 28, and I won't even evolve until 50. I made a promise to myself that I would evolve one day. And now I need to be strong. Please excuse me." With that, she stood up, still carrying some of the berries in her dress. First, she would plant these. Then, she had a volcano to climb.

Ichigo laughed a little when Di dove for the spicy berries. After Di went off Ichigo realized she better train too. I'm so close to level 21, I bet one more win could get me to learn covet! She needed to learn that move in case Di was right. Ichigo finished her meal and decided to go find a fight. She walked out in the open and she met up with a Mightyena. "Hey do you think we could do some training?" she asked.

"Sure, I guess," replied the Mightyena.

Ichigo went for the first move and used quick attack which knocked the Mightyena off her feet but, jumped back up quickly and used bite on Ichigo's arm. Ichigo quickly bit back and jumped back when she used sand attack, making it harder for Ichigo to see. Ichigo used tail whip and then used tackle which made Mightyena collapse. She wasn't quite fainted but, it was enough because Ichigo leveled-up! "Do you want to call it a wrap or finish up the battle," Ichigo said.

"I think I'm done," said the pokemon. Ichigo lifted up the Mightyena to bring her back to camp to help her heal a bit. "I'm taking you back to my camp so I can treat your wounds and get you back on your feet," said Ichigo as she carried the mightyena back to camp and gave her some berries.

Rei looked up at Aramina and Rosanna. "We're going to be heading towards the haunted area. We're looking for a kid, I think he's a year older than Aramina. Hikaru, he's a Shinx gijinka. He wanders into trouble a lot, so we're going to find him." she stated. She looked over at Akane. "Go ahead if you want. I'll stay here with them."

Akane nodded before taking off. She'd scented a Mightyena fighting, and she wanted to know why.

After running for a couple of minutes she stopped, noticing Ichigo. Her eyes widened at the sight of the Mightyena on her back. "What the *censored* happened?!" she demanded.

Kyuzo watched Seya and Sable carefully from where he lay. He didn't like the scent of the girl. (I mean, they can scent fear and stuff, why not some weird emotions or whatever? x3) Looking over he nudged Takumi awake. He wanted him to be awake in case anything happened.

Kusa watched Sable with uninterested eyes. She could honestly careless. Her head rose when she heard Kyuzo shift. Meaning he was going to wake Takumi. She quickly ran outside, carrying a couple of berries.

Takumi blinked, groggily. He let out a tired yawn, before sitting upright, letting Rin get up and stretch. "Kyuzo? What is it?" he asked. He watched as Kusa ran out of a building holding a couple of berries for him and Kyuzo. He smiled at her. "Thank you Kusa." she gave him a bright smile. "Serv!" she cried happily.

Ichigo was just about back at camp which took awhile since she was bit in the leg when Rei and Akane came and were confused. "Don't worry, the Mightyena agreed to help me train so when I beat her I wanted to bring her back to camp until she got better," Ichigo explained "Are you looking for Hikaru? I offered to take him to you but, he insisted that you would come to him and the perfect time. I left him with the human's pokemon but, don't worry, the pokemon are trustworthy even if the human's are not. Be careful, there is a new human I am watching and there's something off about that one... Anyway camp is right over there and we have plenty of berries if you want some."

She limped over to the camp and yelled out "Your finally awake Takumi, I thought you might have been died since it's already passed mid-day (noon). Anyway take some berries, your pokemon have already gotten the first pick of them though. You too Hikaru, also Rei and Akane are over here looking for you." She smiled and brought the mightyena over to some of the berries and placed her down. "Go ahead and take your pick," she said to her soothingly.

Akane watched her with narrowed eyes before the Mightyena growled calmly at her. She sighed before walking over to her, and sat down next to her. They instantly started to communicate in a series of growls and barks. After a little while Akane looked back up. "Rei and I already met up with the human. She's up to something. I think she wants to do something to us." she muttered quietly to Ichigo, before focusing back on the Mightyena.

Takumi watched them quietly. He continued to munch on the berry Kusa had given him, before he felt a weight settle at his side, a small blue head with furry Shinx ears landed on his arm. He smiled, ruffling the little boy's hair, watching as Hikaru tiredly munched on a Rawst berry.

((I kind of want to wait for Death/Artemis to react to Sable being a weirdo messing with his hair... .3.))

Di hiked further up the mountain than usual, having gathered a load of oran berries from the deino cave to keep herself and other pokemon she battled healthy. It wasn't long until she stumbled upon an unhappy looking Charmeleon. It snorted smoke, then charged her with a quick attack. Unable to react fast enough, she took the attack and stumbled back a step. She didn't waste time, though, quickly using a DragonRage. The Charmeleon flew back, and gave her the time to charge in and use Crunch, chomping onto it's arm. It used ember to get her off, and she stumbled away, rubbing the embers off of her face. It came in for a Scratch, but she dodged and Headbutted into it's stomach. Defeated, the pokemon fell back. Taking a deep breath, she felt her level go up. Happy, she dropped down to the pokemon and fed it one of her Oran berries. It struggled to it's feet, then nodded thankfully at her, also acknowledging her strength as it trotted away. The pokemon around her were getting stronger. The battles would get harder. Eating an Oran berry for herself, she climbed on.

Ichigo went over to Hikaru and picked him up from on top of Takumi and brought him over to where Akane sat and put him down and said smiling "I believe this one is yours. He's trouble alright disappearing during our fight and coming back in the middle of the night." She ruffled his hair and leaning over to Akane's ear and whispered "I could tell she was eyeing me weirdly, I'm going to keep a close eye on that one." She sat down next to the Mightyena and rubbed the bite Ichigo gave the Mightyena and the bite on Ichigo's leg.

((I have to go sleep, My dad is making me go to sleep at 10:30))

Akane gave a slight nod of her head, before rubbing Hikaru's head affectionately. "Hey runt." she said with a small smirk.

"Akane-neechan...." Hikaru yawned, some of the juice from the berry he was eating around his mouth. "Where's Rei-neechan?" he asked. He'd looked around the area briefly a little bit ago and didn't see his other caretaker.

"She stayed behind to look after some other runts a bit younger than you." she stated, giving his head a rough pat.

Artemis looked at his reflection in some glass. The Sableye had messed it up to a point where it looked like a sloppy Afro. He ran his fingers through his hair, flattening it out once more. I need a haircut... He looked at the Sableye. It always had a mischievous glint in its eyes. Or maybe it was just the way its eyes naturally looked, what with them being gems. He pointed a finger at it.

"I'll let it slide this time, but if you do that again I'll send my dragons after you," he said. Just for good measure, he put his hood up. No sneaky hair-messers could get him now. He put his headphones in, and turned on some music. There wasn't much battery charge left, but he didn't care much. It was a shame he didn't have any electric type Pokemon with him. Maybe the Shinx boy knew a few Electric type moves. Although he wasn't sure whether it would fry the device or not.

Since it was hard for him to sleep during the day, not to mention what the Sableye might try to prank him with again, he decided to take a walk outside. Maybe he would find a more peaceful spot he could crash down on, since he still felt dead-tired.

Aramina plucked a Pecha berry from a bush. She took a large bite out of it, enjoying the sweet flavor. Looking around for a bush with spicy red berries, she found one close by.

"Hey, Rosanna, are those the berries you like?" She "guided" Rosanna to a Cheri berry bush, and picked one of them. After popping one into her mouth, her face started to turn red.

"That's hot! Hot hot hothotHOThot!" She ran back to the Pecha berry bush and stuffed as many as she could into her mouth, attempting to drown out the searing aftertaste of the spicy berry. Hasn't this happened before...?

"Wow, you've got to have steel taste buds if you like spicy stuff. Sweet things are my favorite. I guess sour things are pretty good too, but only if it's a little sour."

Sable laughed like the idea of a dragon coming after her was one huge joke. Well, she was higher level than all of them, although not by much with the Hydreigon. In a fair fight, she was convinced she would win. She ran back to Seya, hopping onto her back again.

Seya followed Artemis out quietly, standing in the doorway of the haunted place quietly. Not far away, she saw that Eevee Gijinka with the Mightyena one from earlier. She could tell the Eevee didn't like her, no matter how friendly she had sounded. It was a vibe, and not to mention Sable's laugh after her little-miss-happy act. She'd mentioned a Deino Gijinka around here... She didn't see anyone else though. Sable hopped down and sniffed around, reading it's owner's mind. Looking back up, she shook her head. So the Deino was gone.

It seemed Takumi was up now too. The place was coming to life now. It was quite the cute little scene. She'd have to keep an eye out, though. When people seemed to stop caring, she wanted to get back into the lab and figure out more about how it worked.

Ichigo saw Seya and Artemis come back and laughed at the fact that he put his hood up. She stood up and walked slowly over she it didn't look like she was limping. "What took you guys so long, what were you doing in there," she said and laughed a bit more. "Anyway you might wanna grab soome berries before Takumi's pokemon eat them all," she said and pulled back Artemis's hood to annoy him but saw he had something weird in his ear. "What's that in your ear?" she said trying to take it but he pulled back before she could.

"They're headphones," Artemis explained. "You put them in your ear and they play music. See?" He one of them out of his ear, and held it up to Ichigo's ear. "I guess this is pretty new for someone like you, but where I come from, almost everyone has them. They're pretty cool, huh?" He put it back into his ear and pulled his hood up again. "And I can control how loud or quiet the music plays. The only thing it, it's almost out of batteries, so unless I miraculously find some way to charge it, it'll be useless within the next hour."

Ichigo looked at it as music poured out of the device. Her eyes lit up and said "Wow, so it's like a mini- meloetta that you control! But it runs on something you called bat-ri that you need to charge. I'm sure the Luxray knows charge." Ichigo went back over to the Mightyena who seemed much better and able to walk better and had a lot more energy "Do you think your better now," she asked.

The Mightyena responded "I'll be fine on my own now, thank you. Be careful of these human's especially that girl. She then walked off to were Ichigo found her.

Ichigo looked up at Artemis "Go ahead and let your pokemon eat, I'm sure they're hungry. You should sleep, seems like you didn't get much sleep because you seem dead tired." She turned to Takumi and said "How are you feeling, you've been kind of quite."

Takumi smiled. "Just tired. Guess I wasn't in top shape after the ship crashed after all.: he said, before looking over at Artemis. "Want to see if Rin could charge it? She's helped us out before when we lost power once. We at least had light to eat dinner. Lit up the light bulb."

Akane watched the Mightyena leave with a sigh. She'd have to go see if she could find her pack soon. The pokemon had told her how they were worried about her. "Stupid pack...Always worrying....Wanting me to lead....GAH!" she shouted, kicking a tree harshly. "If Rei were here, I'd punch her....Just to start a fight..." she muttered.

Rei looked up at Aramina with a smile. "You alright?" she called. She hoped she was. Those berries can be very hot if you aren't a fire type. "Do you two want to meet up with some of the other gijinkas?" she asked them.

Ichigo saw Akane harshly kick a tree and yell about a pack. Ichigo stood up and stopped next to Akane. "Are you alright," Ichigo said with a soothing voice and put a hand on her shoulder. "If somethings wrong, it's okay to tell me," she said with a silky voice.

((Akane is a naturally rude and rough person, so don't be surprised by her snapping at Ichigo. Just have her slap her or something. lol))

Akane shot a glare at Ichigo before grumbling, running a hand through her hair. "I'm fine. Just mad at the pack." she grumbled. When she felt her hand on her shoulder she snarled. She was so tensed up from earlier, her reactions were still bad. Whirling around on Ichigo she shoved her hand off her shoulder, growling in her face. In some small part of her mind, she knew she'd regret this later, but she couldn't bring herself to care at this point.

Ichigo looked at Akane as she shoved her head and growled. Ichigo gave a faint smile and hugged her. "It's okay if your upset at your pack," she said kindly and soothingly "Just don't let it get to you." Ichigo stepped back and said "Your so pretty when you smile but, you don't smile enough."

Akane froze, her eyes wide. At first her instincts told her to struggle and fight until she scented the person holding her. Ichigo. A gijinka. Slowly her instincts receded, letting her take control of herself again. Tears started to flood her eyes as her knees buckled, causing them both to fall to their knees.

"I don't...I don't want to be responsible of that many....." she whispered brokenly.

Ichigo smiled softly and let her voice melt "And you shouldn't have to be. I know it's hard to refuse your pack but, you have to tell them your not ready. Even if you feel embarrassed you have to." Ichigo let herself slowly come back to normal and waited for Akane to come back to normal too. Hopefully that made her feel better since she was really out of it ever since she saw the Mightyena.

Akane remained quiet for a couple minutes before she took a deep breath and stood up. "Thanks." she muttered under her breath to Ichigo. "If you ever mention this, I'll hurt you." she glared, warning her that she would back up her threat if need be.

She sighed before looking for Hikaru. "Runt!" she shouted out, and watched as Hikaru poked his head out from behind a tree.

"What is it Akane-neechan?" he asked.

Akane sighed. Running a hand through her hair, she spoke. "I'm takin' off runt. I'll be back in a while. Got some business to take care of, a distance off on the other side of the island. Rei should be by soon, so take care of yourself. And don't give Ichigo any trouble!" she ordered.

Hikaru nodded. "Hai, Akane-neechan."

Akane nodded with that, before looking back over at Ichigo. She gave the Eevee a small smile, before taking off at a run, jumping from tree to tree.
