A large beast erupted from the trees, knocking them down as it did so. Lightning hurled off of its blue and purple-colored pelt, circling around Maxwell. It towered over him, its tail flicking in sync with the booms of the thunder.

''h-hey there buddy, been a while huh...?'' he asked calmly, slowly holding his hand out for the lion to sniff.
how the hell did this big guy find me....? he thought, a bit confused yet curious.

"Ohmygosh Tempest," Fallow said, her words speeding up as she bounded over to the giant lion. "Fallow, what the f--- is that thing?!" Mavis yelped, shocked as the lion licked the top of her forehead. Her hair stuck up, much like the lion's mane as it was electrified, but she smiled and laughed. Tempest purred, nuzzling Maxwell's head with his nose.

"Oh, um, okay," Mavis murmured, tensed up as she looked at the creature. It glare at her, only to receive scolds from Fallow. "Be nice, Tempest," she said softly, rubbing the large beast's fur. "No offense, Fallow, but if we're going to travel we can't bring him with us... I mean, his size is already hard to handle." Fallow sighed, considering it. "I know," she said sadly, her lips pursed. "I'll find a safe place for him later... once we finally get out of here."

"Viola, I'm sorry..." Marshall said, almost pleading as he looked at her helplessly.

he reached up and scratched under the giant fluffy lion's chin while grinning.
''doesn't a nice big bird sound tasty tempest?'' he asked.

viola sniffled and slowly stopped crying, sitting up and rubbing her ankle as she healed it.
''from what you said it sounded like we were just leaving crystal here.... i'm not leaving until we find her, she's like a mother to me.. even if she's a wolf, she's raised me and kept me safe...'' she mumbled.

The lion purred (although it might've just been because he liked chin scratches). Fallow laughed a bit before the lion dipped his head even further, resting on the ground with a large thump. The sky cleared up a bit and Tempest yawned, causing more thunder.

"Oh. I'm sorry I worried you," she said nimbly, looking over at Maxwell with an honest face of sorriness. Lightning flashed once more, illuminating the sky for only a second.

Marshall hugged her back, looking at the sky from behind her shoulder. "Let's go find Crystal," he murmured, looking around the charred forests. He sent up a beam of shadow into the sky, hoping that would at least help a little bit.

Fallow nodded, simply saying nothing. I know I'm the weakest Fantasy of all of us, but still... she thought, seeing the blast of shadowy darkness in the sky. A chill scraped down her spine and she flinched, looking away from it. Probably just Marshall or Alex...

Fallow reluctantly buried her face in the other Fantasy's shoulder, Tempest pressing his large, fluffy mane against her in an attempt to comfort. "I-i'm fine," she murmured, although still shivering lightly.

Fallow inhaled deeply before responding. "I know." She broke free, looking almost coldly into the distance. "We should go back to Alex and Draco," she said, biting her lip. "We probably shouldn't stay separated for long... you know what happened last time we broke away from each other."

"I... a-alright," she murmured, shrinking away a bit out of pure shyness. Tempest licked her face, causing her head to cock sideways. Fallow laughed, lightly pushing the giant lion's nose again so her hair would stop floating up.

Skye hung upside-down from a tree, a vine coiled around her. She huffed, glaring into the eyes of Robin. She shot out a dark blast at him, only to have it reflected by a barrier of light. "Fiiine. Heyy... where did Alex and Draco go?" She murmured. Robin's thick vines released, making her fall on her back.

"You weren't," the Fantasy replied simply, looking up at him with mere confusion. Tempest's tail flickered back and forth vigorously, causing the clouds to rain down quite violently on them. "Bud, you're causing a bit of a storm there," Fallow murmured softly, stroking under the giant lion's chin (he was bent down). Tempest stretched, his back arching downwards. The thunder roared in the distance. "Ack... c'mere." She pulled Maxwell closer by the shoulder, Fawn shivering by her feet. A leaf that had been scattered on the ground grew above them, acting as an umbrella for all of them.

Skye leaned back upside-down on a dying tree trunk. Rain splashed in her face and she sighed, looking over at Robin with a look that highly lacked content. "Let's go find Alex and Draco..." she said, sighing and flipping over so she was no longer upside-down. Robin grabbed her hand and helped her get up, looking into the distance. A shield of light formed above them, burning the rain that came down on them with a sizzle. "You don't think something happened, do you?" Skye murmured. "You're thinking negatively. Besides, they'll be fine." There was a pause. "They were fighting earlier. Either way, we need to find them and get to some sort of safety. This forest sucks."

Marshall grabbed Viola's hand and walked forwards, tugging her along with him. Another one of his darkness towers shot up in the sky, shedding off tiny strings of darkness in all directions, each of which going into the distance and out of sight. "That should help," he mumbled.

draco and alex were both slowly waking up and were still rather groggy before they both sent a blast of dark and light energy into the air so the other's knew where they were, then drifted back into sleep.
