"W-what happened?" Fallow murmured, plants underneath her feet
lifting her up and pushing her forward between each step to boost
her walking. There were clouds in the distance, which looked quite
worrying to Fallow. "S-shadow?" She whispered, her eyes widened.
She reluctantly stepped into the clouds, straining to see even with
20/20 vision. "Hello?" Fallow said boldly, looking around
helplessly. A sudden rope of light lashed out towards her,
constricting itself around her neck and lifting her into the air.
Fallow yelped, grabbing at the rope but finding it searing hot.
"Fallow!" A voice suddenly called out, and the light disappeared. A
large flower sprouted out from under Fallow to catch her (this time
it was her own), a few specks of hail ricocheting off her head (it
wasn't very big). "I-i didn't know it was you... did I hurt you?"
Mavis murmured, putting a hand out to the Nature Fantasy in
assistance. "No," Fallow murmured, rubbing her neck a bit. It was
untouched but quite hot, although nothing had even singed.
(I SAID I HAD ROLEPLAYERS BLOCK DARN IT. *sighs and takes a deep
breathe* i'm getting to a post in this one now, so just
chiiiiiiiiiilllllllllllllll)
shadow managed to find his way over and checked fallow over by
sniffing around her face and neck.
''are you alright?'' he asked.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
violet blinked and just stayed put.
''what about crystal?'' she called out before he got to far.
"Yeah, I'm fine," she said, smiling a bit as she brushed a hand
across the creature's head. Her rabbit looked up at her curiously.
"I was just worrying about family, Fawn. Chill," she said. The
rabbit's tense was released. Marshall called through the fog, and
she recognized his voice immediately. Mavis did after a split
second and they both began to sprint through the fog for a moment
before Marshall and Viola were in sight. "Hey. Nice to see ya,"
Mavis said a bit bluntly.
viola had eventually caught up and stood beside marshal.
shadow looked at viola then looked around, running off to look for
crystal.
she blinked and watched shadow run off.
Fallow nodded, her scarlet-colored hair bouncing on her shoulders.
She broke away, her lips slightly pursed. "I know," she said very
softly, looking out into the foggy distance. "Once we find Crystal
we need to get outta here," Marshall grumbled, his odd eyes
flickering with what seemed like annoyance.
''you don't have to be a jerk about it marshal'' viola snapped,
looking up at him with a hurt expression since she felt like a
burden on them with being a bit younger then all of them.
"Okay, Viola... I just really don't want to stay in this forest,
kay? I mean we did start a forest fire, oh, and not to mention
something freaking exploded just a few days ago?" He said,
not looking a her. When he finally looked down his expression
softened. Fallow sent an icy blue gaze at Marshall.
she ran for a good little while before her tear's clouded up her
vision and caused her to trip over a log.
viola cried quietly and covered her face, just laying there.
She's going to run into the smoke, Marshall thought, running
up to her and bending down. "Viola... please, don't cry," he said
very softly, reaching out a hand to touch her but flinched and
pulling his hand back.
Mavis sighed, light seeming to fume off of her. It was more of a
casual motion, something she seemed to do when feeling certain
emotion. Fallow sighed, her hair jet-black from pure stress.
"Should we wait for them or go back?" Mavis said, sighing. "We
probably should wait for them... it would only be reasonable,
really..." Fallow replied hollowly. "Mmm, but what about the
others? Skye and Robin are probably fighting at this point--" she
was interrupted by a sudden roar. A crack of thunder seemed to
illuminate the sky and split it in half, the skies turning gray and
stormy. The clouds overhead were dark and heavy with rain, thunder
booming in the distance. Fallow's arms uncrossed and her look
morphed from cold to surprised. The heavy thumps of some sort of
creature came to ear, the speed of the thumps quickening as it grew
closer. Mavis readied her sword, almost glaring into the distance.
