Hi, i'm back with another suggestion, which i think is pretty helpful ^_^


Ok, so i was thinking that when you go to somebody's page, and they changed their username, you could see what the last one was

Any comments?

this partly defeats the purpose of changing a user name? most people change it because they didn't like their old one and don't want it anymore, why would they want it still on their userpage?

most people will announce they've changed their username if they want that fact known, and you completely missed the point of my last post :p lol

i think you should be able to choose if the old username(s) are on the page and there should be a link that you click to show the old usernames like

1st username: ilikepikachu
2nd Username: Pikapower
3rd Username: Treeckopower

And so on.
First i didn't know what to put in here but then..

No support. Why would I want people to know what my username was before? I changed it for a reason, because I either want be referred to as this new user name or just didn't like my old one or whatever reason. Having a list of old user names seems pointless.

@queen the point is so you know WHO they are when they change their name so they talk to you and you have no idea who they are or something

think of players who may have gone inactive and but remember the person and come back and see their username is different, they will think its a different person

You act as if I can't see them when they change their username. If we are friends, PM, talk in forums, I most likely will either be told you changed your username or notice when I see a post you made suddenly say a different name.

People usually say "Hey guys I changed my username!" Like Autumn said, and even if they don't it's usually easy to tell, if you're friends with them, when they changed their name. And if you don't notice then chances are you aren't big friends with them anyway and probably wouldn't care what their name was prior.

And again, for those cases where someone goes inactive and comes back and people who were friends with them change usernames, they'll still have the PMs shared, still see old forum posts, and they can still talk to these people. Chances are if someone announces "Hey I am back from where ever after being gone a month." people who were friends with that person will say "Oh hey I remember you! My name was changed to so-and-so, welcome back." or something like that.

It's not a huge mystery when someone changes their username. Just a simple message saying "Hey, my name was blank and now I am blank-blank" should be enough. Besides, if someone doesn't recognize your username, what makes you think they'll go check what your name was before? I am not going to check strangers' profiles to see if I recognize their old usernames.

but no Support.. it has a good Point why user changes his/her username and doesn't want to see his/her old name
