"Let us in!" Skye yelled as she slammed into the barrier. Skye once
again pressed her will into the air and made it attack the deer. No
use attacking barriers, better to de-power the caster. "Let us in!
We need the blood!" Skye said. She was sprouting rubbish right now,
but she didn't care. She wanted- no, needed to save Riona. During
that dance... she could feel Riona's emotions, being alone.
Minerva and the entourage reached Barnabas, the moon's soft glow
framing her shining armor. She seemed to descend from the very moon
itself from the point of view of the two binaries. She and Isador
reached Barnabas's side, placing a hand on one of his horns. "Let
me speak to them. They are binaries." She dismounted Isador,
standing on the moonlight itself, a skill taught to her by Artemis
herself. "What is your business here?" she called to the two
binaries.
"And what for? Increasing your own strength? Becoming invincible?
Most all humans are selfish beings, with the exceptions of very
few. Being binaries does not mean you are an exception to my
words." Minerva said, a small memory becoming more vivid in the
corner of her mind. She pushed the thought away, turning her mind
to the task at hand.
"Please, we're not here to get the blood for ourselves. We need it
to cure our friend, and unless it is administered before sundown,
she'll die!" Skye shouted at Diana.
"It is midnight right now. You have approximately 20 hours to climb
the mountain and administer the cure before she dies. For all you
know, your friend could be being mauled while you wander off to
have this meaningless argument with me. There are no shortcuts
here." She said, attempting to drive her point through the
binaries' thick skulls. "Leave this place, and climb the mountain
tomorrow. Go get some sleep, you'll need it for the trials ahead."
"Going past terminal velocity is impossible. Don't you know
anything about science? Terminal velocity is the max speed of an
object. Your attempts to convince me of letting you by is faring
terribly. Just go back to your friends before I am forced to resort
to violence."
"I hope you realize I'm thicker than that. And besides, there is no
terminal velocity when the air is helping you go fater." Skye said
before closing her wings and free falling. If Minerva insisted
between fighting or them leaving, she really didn't have a choice.
Well, at least it was dark.
"Yes there is. You are completely neglecting the laws of physics."
Minerva said. She then gave a very long and detailed explanation on
the laws of terminal velocity.
(Minerva never gave her name ._.)
"I didn't forget. This barrier is always here, we just made it
visible so you idiots didn't kill yourselves. Now shoo, the sun
will rise soon enough and you need to tend to your friends."
''...'' - Crono was silent for some time. ''...But we came here all
the way. We came here to save our friend, and we are not going back
with empty hands!'' - he then turned his head and looked at Skye.
''Isn't that right, Skye? We NEED to get that blood.''
Ateer tried to see if his mind could reach out to Cronos, he
figured it would be easier to contact Crono than Skye sine Crono
was Phsycic as well. 'Crono, can you hear me?'

Ateer was glad he was able to get through, the idea had been a long
shot. 'Yeah, where the heck did you go? And is Skye wih you?'

'What are you guys doing at the peak of the mountain? You realize
you two could have gotten hurt or something and we wouldn't even
know where you were to find you.' Ateer scolded the Binary

''If I wasn't here, Skye would be here alone. Better be happy.'' -
Crono answered, while trying to stay calm. ''Just fly for some time
straight until you see a large mountain. It's very easy to find.''
