Shadows slithered on the forest floor, below a shadowed figure's feet. All that was visible in the darkened area was a golden grin, that was coming from the figure's face, and the red eyes that glowed ever so brightly. A mischievous cackle came from the throat of the being, but its mouth remained shut.
Seconds later, the shadowed being rose into the air, the shadows underneath tracing their way up, surrounding its body. Clawed fingers reached out from the Pokémon's sleeves, it's hands moving closer together. A swirl of shadows began to form into a sphere, rapidly moving, making it look like an endless pathway into it that led to nowhere.
The grin remained on the Pokémon's face as the shadows fused together between the claws of the figure, until one moment, his claws left the sphere's side, and the arms of the shadowed Pokémon moved outward. The sphere of shadows was launched forward, casting a trail of shadows behind it right as it went. A surge of power was radiating in the air between him and his opponent. The shadows were headed towards another Pokémon who was just before him.

Shay, sensing something and someone, turned around quickly and noticed the Shadow Ball being launched at her. She quickly reacted, pulling back her arms while bringing them together, then pointing them towards the sphere - releasing a horrible aura imbued with dark thoughts causing an explosion at collision.

She squints her eyes and sizes Puppet, trying to intimidate him.
"You've got to be quicker than that." she says tauntingly while wasting no time.
She then opens her mouth widely as a stream of bubbles launch towards her opponent.

Through the smoke caused by the explosion between them, the Banette's eyes focused, and fixated on the area where he last saw the Frillish. Little did he realize the stream of bubbles coming towards him until the last second. Just a moment before, he lifted a hand up quickly, shadows following and forming into a little wall, barely getting time to fully block his body.
As the stream of bubbles hit the shadows, the shadows began to fall apart, and then suddenly disappear. The mega Banette then fell back to the ground, but the grin was still plastered on his face. Not bad... his mind seemed to say, though he spoke no words aloud.
The Pokemon raised a sharp-clawed hand, shadows enclosing around it, moving in a fast fury. Satisfied with what he had done, he leaped through the smoke which hadn't cleared up fully yet, and glanced around until he caught a faint figure who stood on the other side. Wisps of shadows trailed behind the clawed hand as he thrust it forward, directly at the other Pokemon.

Shay noticed the Pokémon coming towards her too late and was hit directly with the attack, taking massive damage. As she struggles to get up, she sends a weak Bubblebeam towards the Pokémon as a distraction. Followed immediately after the Bubblebeam is sent, the Frillish points her arms towards her opponent. Her arms begin to glow green, "extend" toward and wrap around the Mega Banette, absorbing its energy and restoring her own. With more energy, she opens her mouth slightly as thick white clouds emerge from inside, concealing the Frillish through the thick fog to be used towards her advantage. She begins to taunt the Banette by launching small & weak streams of bubbles from multiple directions.

Puppet clumsily fell for the distraction and was caught by the Frillish's next move. He could feel a bit of his power being drained out of him. Noticing the constant bubble beams coming right at him afterwards, he began to jump away from them, growing a bit frustrated. At this point, the Banette stops in his tracks, and several blue wisps of fire surrounded him. He opens his arms once again, and the balls of fire headed straight towards the foggy area that surrounded the Frillish.
Shadows from under the mega Banette's feet raced along the ground in long streams towards his opponent. They managed to find their way under the other Pokemon, and attempted to reach up and pull the Pokemon down.

The Frillish fell on the floor in pain. She quickly collected herself before getting up. She openen her mouth and a light blue ball forms in front of it, firing light blue beams from the ball at the Puppet. During her launch, Shay's body glows a rainbow color while regaining health.

Quickly trying to deflect the attack, the Banette started to fire more spheres of shadows at the beam of ice, though his plan didn't work out. The shadows just froze into place, stopping and blocking nothing in their path. The beam headed straight towards him, and he tried to form another wall of shadows, but he was too slow. The beam of ice hit him, sending his frozen body skidding back on the ground. Inside, he was immobilized from the bitter cold that surrounded his body.
The shadows that emanated from his body pushed on the ice, trying to cause enough pressure in attempts to break it. And moments later, the ice shattered, sending shards in every direction. The Banette almost started to look worn out, but he tried his best not to show it.

Shay tried her best to avoid the shards of ice, though failed, taking massive damage and falling to the ground. She pulls herself off the ground and puts her two tentacles together and forming a ball of black and purple energy with black static around it. She waits to launch it, having it grow larger and larger.

Noticing the other Pokemon had begun to form a sphere between her tentacles, he began to form his own once again, with shadows. He also allowed this sphere to grow large, allowing every last bit of energy that his shadows could possibly put into it.
The shadow sphere became a deep shade of purple, looking almost black from the dimmed light that surrounded the both of them. The Banette opened his mouth for the first time, the curses from inside his body curled around the sphere. The curses fully turned the sphere of shadows black, as if death was lurking.

Shay squints her eyes to focus on her target, at that moment she launches the massive ball towards him whilst launching a stream of bubbles with it.

Seeing the Pokemon finally attack, he thrust his own sphere of shadows and curses forth. Claws of shadows strode at its side, the force causing the ground underneath to crack. The last bit of energy escaped the Pokemon, causing him to feel dizzy.
Just before him, he could see the explosion caused by the Frillish's attack colliding with his. It knocked him off his feet and onto his back. Smoke filled the area, suffocating the air around them. Moments after, the Banette passed out.

The Frillish, who already took massive damage from previous attacks, watched as the two balls collided and caused an explosion. Her eyes widened before being blown back by the force and thrown into a tree, fainting on impact. As the smoke cleared, her lifeless body appeared face down in a pile of leaves.

A Fennekin pranced around the general area and stepped on the fainted Banette.
She screamed and jumped back a bit before smelling him.
"Pft - what a lousy place to take a nap, who the hell do these ..." she started trailing off into a mumble as she walked over to a Sitrus Berry Bush, picking some with her mouth and placing them close to the Banette's mouth, trying her best not to come into contact with it. "Bleh - I don't know where you've been, for all I know you could have fleas." she told the unconscious Mega Pokémon before noticing the Frillish and getting Sitrus Berries for her, doing the same as with Puppet.

The Sitrus Berry rolled into the Banette's still-open mouth and down his throat. It was just soon after that the ghost Pokemon's eyes flickered open, the black slits in his red eyes focusing on the trees above. He used his claws to push himself up and onto his feet and at the same time, his mouth zippered shut.
Looking ahead, he noticed the Fennekin standing before him, though, next to the Frillish he remembered battling with just before he had passed out. The zipper-lined mouth in his sleeve gaped wider as his claws extended out towards the Fennekin. His hostile self had returned, and through his zippered mouth came a muffled, rasping response. "Who comes here? Back away from that Pokemon." His eyes glinted around his slit-pupils.

The Frillish laid there motionless, not taking the Sitrus Berry in her mouth and the Fire Fox Pokémon refused to put it any closer. At that moment, the Fennekin turned around to see the Marionette Pokémon and stood frozen in fear. "Eh- bi-b-b-b-b-b- ...." she mumbled before wetting herself over the Frillish's tentacle.

The mega Banette seemed a bit disgusted by this, but nevertheless, he did not lose his hostility towards this Pokemon. Experimenting with this Pokemon, he formed a ball of shadows between his claws and launched it near the area where the Fennekin was standing, though purposely missing both her and the Frillish. He grinned at the smoke that appeared when the shadows his a nearby tree, but it quickly began to fade.
Puppet approached the smoky area slowly, seeing what the Fennekin would do.

The Fennekin stood frozen in fear, though decided it would be best not to visually present that fear towards the Mega Pokémon. As the smoke cleared, she puffed out her chest.

"Hey! I don't know who you think you are, but that's no way to treat a lady." she said sternly.

Her mouth then began to glow orange and red with fire, though instead of launching it stream-like at the Ghost-type, she formed a Ball of Fire in front of her muzzle - then shot it at a tree near the Banette, causing leaves to fall on it and leaving a scorch mark on the bark.

Puppet let out a rasping cackle and brushed off the leaves that had fallen on him. The Banette had learned to sense all the negative emotions that the others could give off, even if it was not visible to the naked eye. Though, he found it interesting that the Fennekin was so confident in herself.
"No way to treat a lady, you say?" he asked, cackling as he said so. His grin widened as he continued to approach the Fennekin.

The Fennekin sized the Banette but grew more and more terrified as it approached her. She quickly took a step back when she decided it was too close to her.
"Stay away from me!" the Fennekin warned. At the same time the Fennekin formed three light blue orbs of energy around its head.

The Frillish began to regain consciousness, first taking her urine-covered tentacle and rubbing her eyes with it.

The Banette stood in his tracks, taking a quick glance at the light blue orbs around him. The fear that came from the Fennekin was obvious now. Though, instead of continuing to mess with the Fennekin, his gaze shifted over to the Frillish, who was now beginning to awaken.
Shadows seeped into the ground below the Banette, but remained there as he continued to stare at both the Fennekin and the Frillish now. He wondered how the Frillish would react, seeing him so close, and seeing the new Pokemon next to her, that hadn't been there before.
Puppet stifled his laughter as he noticed the tentacle that the Frillish was rubbing her eyes with.
