No clue which sub topic i should put this in, so going in the 'other' for now.

My suggestion is that you should earn PD for posting in the forums. The forums here are rarely active (the ocassional post, with most posts i find being in the games sub forum), and I think it would help liven up the community!

It'd be a very little amount (i'm talking like up to 10 pd or so!), and there would be certain sub-forums (not sure yet) in which you'd not earn PD to prevent people taking advantage of this.

If you like this suggestion, please say why! Likewise if you dislike it, please say why as well.

I'm not too sure about this, I think it could encourage more spam then anything else. I spend quite a lot of time on the forums and though there are a few times when it is pretty slow, overall I think it is actually pretty active.
I don't think it would encourage those who don't use the forums to post, as it is a pretty small amount which you could get easily with just a few interactions.

I only suggested such a low amount to avoid it being taken advantage of (like i said basically before), the amount earned could easily be raised if that's the problem.

If spamming is a problem, then there could be an amount of posts you'd need before you start earning?

This was suggested a long time ago, and rejected I think. In addition to spam, the other main reason it got rejected was that PH is an adoptable site, not a forum-based one. Getting rid of the forums won't affect the purpose of the site, and not everyone uses the forums.

I don't know about PD...but maybe DW Points? If you're only required to make, say, 5 posts a day for a certain amount of DW Points, then I don't think spam would be encouraged, unless a person is really shy or something.

In my opinion, the forum should be a place for users to ask for help about the game, to discuss about it or to communicate with other members. Therefore the point is actually not to combine it directly with the game and to give out benefits for every activity. We prefer users in the forum who like communicating with other members instead of spammers who just want quick money.
So yeah, I don't really see the advantage here. Besides the forum is already very active, as far as I can tell.

Riako's right also this will Spam the intro thread because we can post as many times there and people might make useless diaries just to earn money so no support from me too
